You keep defending the kid and use the fact that he's eleven to get us feel compassionate about it. An eleven year old kid is NOT a sad and dumb person per sé. They go to school and they can read and he propably heard about RWTing. He only never used his reading skills for RS. The thing he propably never did was checking the Dev Diaries or the rules, or even the safety tips, as his bank got emptied so fast. My point is: there is no reason he couldn't have known about RWTing and all the dangers in RS, except for lazyness.

Maybe they will even release quest-themed diaries before an important quest. The only thing is, how could they make a whole diary about a quest without revealing spoilers? Not, propably.

The next language should be wherever they have the most players from. That being said, Dutch is a much more likely candidate. Or what about American English, instead of the British English that is used now? Don't bash me if I used those terms incorrectly, lol. English is English. So what if they spell color with a u? You can still understand it. :P Very true. It's just the fact that I've been using The British spelling for many words since I started playing, and it really pisses my teachers off lol. Not really. If a friend tells you digging in a certain spot may yeild loot, for the sake of a few mins you might try it. Not everyone will, and those that do shouldn't be called gullable. It's not a big deal, and I don't see why it's being taken so far lol. :? If a Jmod creates a topic just to say there is nothing to dig for, it's gone far enough.

^True. A lot of people really are quite jumpy when it comes to videogame subjects. Admitted, there are people who play a game and then say: "let's do that for real", like when some kids played GTA and then tok their dads gun and started shooting at cars. But those people are in the minority. I think the only factor that should count with games, is if the people who play can get along with it in a healthy way.

Been no "filler" quests for 2 months. I assmued that was becasue of the new "mechscape" game that jagex is planning to release. This isn't an attack at Jagex or anything, it just seemed like common sense that they would divert resources temporarly to oversee the release of the new game, and make sure it went smoothly. Runescape team =/= Mechscape team. They should have no troubles creating a quest for this month, unless it was big (wich it will be).

There once was an Easter event where you needed to dig, can't remember wich one. It was a real pain to get that spade from the spawn in Falador. Ever since then I took one about a month before the next Easter event : Some people just started selling spades to people, after telling them they needed it to get in that hole.

It's no March yet, so go train everything to at least 65. That should do the trick.

Rip off or reference? Jagex used the idea of Mithril from Lord of the Rings. Is that a rip off too? Or just a reference to a well known work? Depends on what more they have taken from Blizzard. There's nothing wrong with a reference, but if the entire quest thingy is one big reference, then I speak of a rip-off (or parody if it's done with permission). It's Arthas :
