  1. I know this is off topic, but how did you get on RSC if you haven't playing in over 1400 days? I thought your account was locked after 6 months...
  2. I'm also one of the people that had an RSC account, but was f2p and didn't get members until after my 6 months was up. I would love to play again, but if that means everyone else who never even cared got to play and cheat as well, then I may enjoy it for a little bit, but not as much if it was just a normal game. All I want to do is get back on and walk around and swim in the nostalgia for a little bit. I don't want to see people who started playing RS 2 years ago get on, talk about how much the game sucks, and then cheat their way into getting high levels and good items. I think Jagex should just open up RSC to all people who had accounts and were never banned from the game, but were not able to (or forgot to) play for 6 months. I just want to mine coal and turn it into certs and sleep in a sleeping bag and have little stars represent my arrows that I fire. I don't want the game to be spoiled by the little kids that play RS today :\
  3. I have a new one, lol. When I started playing in 2002 or 2003, I got through tutorial island and was at the very end of it. Back then, you had to take a boat to get to lumbridge. You weren't teleported. So I talked to the sailor who takes you there and he was like "get in the boat to go to lumbridge". So I spent hours clicking on the boat and nothing happened. Finally, my brother told me to right click and I did and it said "take boat" and I got to lumby. My other one is going to varrock or lumbridge general store and clicking on items trying to buy them. I still didn't have the whole "right clicking" thing down because I barely ever used computers until I started playing Runescape. So I clicked on the items and it just said "value of a tinderbox: 1 coin" over and over again and I was like "I HAVE SOME MONEY!! GIVE ME THE TINDERBOX!!" Finally, I right clicked and I figured out how to buy it. I think I figured out the right clicking thing later, though. I'm pretty sure I just got frustrated and left and came back later.
  4. Just playing RSC was one great memory for me. When RS2 came out, I was happy, but I soon realized that RSC was amazing. But I was F2P at the time and so when RSC became members only and you had to play every so often, I soon lost access to my account. When I met my 3 best friends on RS (Renegade Gdi, Bigexodia, and Powerlord80). Renegade Gdi got his account stolen and then made Renegade Isu and then my account got banned so I made New Henrylot after Sir Henrylot. Me and him were the last ones to play and he gets on a few times a year to hang out with me, but that is about it. When I found an air talisman the day the RS2 Beta came out for free players and I followed it until I got to the ruins and didn't know what to do. Some guy said I needed an "insane magic level". Getting my quest cape and woodcut cape on New Henrylot. Also my first Tip.It Event with a massive christmas drop party in Al Kharid about the palace. I got a rune plate and barely missed someone giving away a free santa hat. And someone here showed me a green party hat in the trade menu :P That is still the item I aspire to get.
  5. Yeah that is pretty much what I did at first and it worked out. But I only have one fire left to light and his blasts are more powerful and scatter more with a longer range. But I guess all I can do is do what you said, but with the roots? Yeah I haven't done that quest. I need to get my hunter up one more level :s I'm just finishing up the quests I have the stats for. It isn't putting the logs in the fire that I have trouble with. It is cutting the roots as you don't chop one of the logs on your first try. I have 99 wc, but I still don't get them right away. The problem is that he usually blasts his beam before I can get a log. Yeah I think I'm gonna try brews. I don't need the attack and strength levels anyways. But prayer did seem to help. Without it, he was hitting constant 30s. With it, he is hitting 16-22.
  6. Just as a little support, I didn't have any recoveries and all I gave were old passwords on my account when it got hacked. The next day, my appeal was accepted.
  7. I never thought I'd see the day that I'd die on a quest. Let a lone EIGHT TIMES.... This quest is really starting to make me mad. I'm still in the first room. I was following the guide and put logs on all of the pyres before lighting them, but after I lit the first two, I died. So now every time I go back, they monster is shooting his magic at me at its highest. I've been using energy potions, bringing lots of food, teleports, rings of life, nothing to weigh me down, games necklaces, praying protect from magic, the works, but I keep getting caught in the center of those fricking magic beams. And when I try to run, I run into one of the scattered ones. So does anyone have any help? I'm level 103 combat, but please don't tell me I'm too low leveled to do it because getting my quest cape back is all I have really been doing since I started Runescape up again(I left for about 9 months so I had a few quests piled up). I thought Dealing with Scabaras was bad, but I think this is the hardest quest I have done  And what's worse is after this quest, I have 5 more that are rated hard, too (including WGS). So any help?
  8. Haha, actually this already has happened to me. My account was banned permanently (the reason for it was a big misunderstanding), so I started from scratch. My account was only around level 63 when it was banned. I realized that the account was awful anyways (it was my first one) and so I named my new account after my old one (putting 'new' at the beginning of the name) and I said I would work harder to get stuff done. So I started out as a skiller and got 75 wc as a free player. I then developed my account even more until I surpassed my old account in everything and eventually got members. Now my account is level 103 with 99 wc :D And I quit that account after the trade limit was in place and summoning came out. 9 months later, I made a pker and quit him after awhile. Then I made a skiller and then I decided that I had a fricking level 103 account so I started using it again, lol. But since my account is so much better than my original one, I don't think I would start over right away like I did. But I am sure I would get so bored that I would eventually start up again.
  9. Ahhh I wish my account was still active. Sadly, when RS2 came out, I left it all together and didn't start feeling nostalgic till a year or two ago. And am I blind, or does Jagex no longer have an RSC section on the RS forums?
  10. Yeah I figured that if I can get 31 runecrafting as f2p and crafting airs, I can get 44 or 50 runecrafting doing the same thing (but probably as a member. I'm gonna wait a little while before I do runecraft again. Thanks for the tip.
  11. Hey guys. Well I quit Runescape after summoning came out a few months ago and didn't start back up until a few weeks ago on my new skiller (I gave up on my old main that is level 103). I currently have 31 runecrafting and I know that because of the new trade limit, air running is different than when I last did it (I mined my own ess and crafted my own airs to 31 on my current account and on my old account, I used the old air running system so its RC level is 50ish). I was wondering if I could still try crafting with the air running company at 31 RC because from what I have read and heard, runners are using the req. assist system and people who can craft 8+ airs per ess are typically the most chosen for the job. I also heard that trading is still an option, but the time limit probably makes it the least chosen option. I'm only aiming for 44 runecrafting at the moment. At the very worst, 40 and at the best, 50. So if you think I would still have a shot against the other competition and that the air running company isn't completely worthless for people below 77 rc, please let me know and any advice on how to raise my runecrafting would be very appreciated.
