  1. Yeah, the only way to do the Kiln in the beta is to import your account once you enter the Kiln in real RS. Gratz on completing the Kiln though. I know what you mean by watching half of your supplies disappear, it happened to me too. I also don't think I had many (possibly any) brews left.
  2. I used broads... You shouldn't *use* more than 1k of them. So you will want to bring like 1.2k or something.
  3. Yeah, but he might not know that. Anyway, good luck with whatever you want to do.
  4. I just did the kiln 30 minutes ago for the first time with about the same items as you. I don't see any reason to use claws.... Outside of that, I think you are fine. Also, pps is fine if you won't want to use ABS. I have also heard that Karil's Xbow is about equal to RXB with rune bolts... It is really up to you though. You should be fine. Oh, if you have soul split, you really won't need blood burst/barrage. As far as the super prayer flasks.... If you bring 4 prayer renewal flasks, you will hardly EVER need to used restores to bump up your prayer.
  5. I also recommend that all of you who have access to the beta to do the Kiln in the beta.... It is so hilarious! Jad has like 1001 combat with a max hit of 70 lp, and the final boss is combat level 2. You can two hit almost every monster in the kiln since none of them has had their stats updated.
  6. ^ That's the spirit. Be mindful though... I went through 3 tort pouches and I only reached wave 33 with them. I had to summon my uni at wave 33, and I dropped 10 brews on the ground. =< If you aren't going to use overloads the whole way, at least take 1 overload flask. Use one sip on every jad wave... it helps immensely.
  7. Also, don't make him think that he is in the friendzone. He would almost never ask you out if he knew that he was friendzoned.
  8. I died on wave 4 the first time because I lagged so hard. >.< I [bleep]ed up on wave 28. I didn't get the lure right, I used 2 invuln crystals, and I ran around the cave spamming brews while attracting the dills to me like hobos on a muffin. I [bleep]ed up the lure on wave 35. I had to spam jad while I tanked the melee guy, but it doesn't end there.... My overload ran out, and I couldn't risk repotting so I was chugging brews like a [bleep]. Other than that, it wasn't bad.
  9. All of my friends are poor, and I'm not entirely sure on the whole Karil's bow.... I'm not going to time here, and i don't really feel comfortable juggling that much. EDIT: I died on wave 4.... I didn't grab the crystal in time, and I got raped.
  10. Yes. It really isn't that expensive, and you can sell it back if you need to.
  11. What gear did you bring on your previous attempt? I've gotten the levels I think i'll use (yak, ovl, soul split) but am at a loss for gear. I'll probably end up with cheapest effective barrows top/legs, gano top/legs, arma/royal/karil top/legs but do I use swifts or goliaths and whichever glacor boot. Also helmet and cape :s Nezzy Fury D boots Tokkul-zo Skillcape (t) Bss Bcp & Tass Royal body Gano poncho & legs Rxb & broads Rapier Pps I only used brews on the Jad waves when I potted back to max after overloading and one time when I was dumb and forgot that there was still a 400 around.
  12. I've watched all of Smokey's vids, but I can't decide which one to do on wave 35. I'll probably do the traditional way.
  13. I just tried this. You owe me a new banana You must have done it wrong. I open it from the "wrong end" as well, and it works much better than the stem end. You just pinch the little black thing on the end and peel.
  14. The worst part is that kids watch it and enjoy it. Maybe it's for the best if the world ends on December 21st. Agreed.
  15. I didn't want to double post.... I'm getting serious about the Kiln now. I've been watching the different ways to do waves 28 and 35, but unfortunately, I don't really know which lures to use with my stats and abilities. Mainly I'm worried about the Jads though. I think that they should be infinitely easier without healers.
  16. I just saw an advertisement for the Annoying Orange show on Cartoon Network while I was waiting for KOTH to come on. I was lucky that I didn't have a knife in my pocket or else I wouldn't have wrists.
  17. Sad part is people are buying them. Someone bought the assassin already Let's not start this pointless discussion again. If people want to spend their own money on this stuff then who are you to judge? It offers absolutely no advantage in terms of gameplay so it's not hurting you. I seriously have to question why people take this standpoint. It does look cool though.
  18. ... I just pull the leaves off. It's not that hard. There is still a little bit of the core left. I never just eat the strawberries raw, so I usually cut the cores out when I use them in cooking.
  19. I actually have a kitchen utensil that is used for deleafing strawberries.....

I've felt sick all day... I want to take a nap, but I don't think that would help much.
  21. AVG is currently one of the worst antiviruses out there, even worse than Norton (which has actually improved in the last years, but I still don't recommend it). If your dad works with professionnals, of course they're not going to recommend any AV software, they work with computers and know which websites and what kind of programs not to go near. Most people still recommend AV software for average users, because most of the time these are the users that will click any links and ads out there and get viruses. Offering computer repair services myself, I see a lot of people getting viruses on their computers despite the fact that they have AV software, and they don't read the messages that pops up by the Antiviruses either (which is probably the reason why newer versions block the websites without giving the choices). Microsoft Security Essentials (free), Avast (free) and Kaspersky are pretty good antiviruses. Last time I looked at ratings, AVG wasn't bad. :? But that has been a little while...
