homowz living rocks cavern guide
well the rune is added in the armour set-up, but i will keep it after the bandos or barrows set-up. the 3hits u take every time u gonna deposit ur inv wont degrade ur armour a lot but it will make the chances of these hits being high... but like all set-ups these are all about personal preferences. i do have a question about the varrock armour: ive done some experements by mining with varrock armour and without and i do not notice any difference in the speed of mining a full inventory. i get as much double ores when i didnt wear it as when i did. so my question would be: once u unlock the armourbenifits does the mining multiple ores also work without the armour?

homowz living rocks cavern guide
i usualy prefer the less populated worlds wich mean i get hit often, that why i prefer the barrows set-up. Since u dont get hit when ur mining (with all the safespots and/or the rockhugging) your armour wont degrade anyway

how to use irc
A guide about using IRC. Contents: I. What is IRC? II. How to use IRC? III. Registering your Nickname IV. Usefull commands V. Extra’s [spoiler=I.What's IRC?] IRC or Internet Relay Chat can be seen as some sort of chatroom, controled by the users. It is one of the oldest network programs and defenatly one of the most populair, with his over 1500 servers and millions of channels. For Runescape IRC was the perfect way to keep in touch with your clan before Clan Chat was introduced, you can talk in public, but also start a private conversation with someone in your channel. Thanks to the numberous irc-bots and the easy way to gouvern irc most clan still prefer to use irc over cc. [spoiler=II.How to use IRC?] There are multiple programs on which you can access IRC. The most common ones are: Swiftkit: a multi use program specialy created for runescape. The download is accessible here (windows only). To go to the IRC client, go to the bottom of your screen and press on the PacMan like icon. You will arrive on the Start page of your swiftIrc client. To enter the channel of you clan, enter a nickname you want to use and the channel name, with a # in front. For example: Nickname: Homowz Channel: #example If you want to adjust the setting of you irc you go back to the start tab, and click Options. Whenever you’d like to see sitelink etc when they are posted, go to options, then Irc, then make sure the box in front of “enable message filtering” is empty . Other usefull options are the ones indicated in blue: when these are enabled, every time someone says your current nickname or one of the added nicknames, then you get a notice. Mirc: best known irc client. The download is accessible here (windows only). (more information will be added soon) Colliquy: This is the Macintosh irc-client. The download is accessible here. (Macintosh S OX 10.4+ only). When u launch Colliquy it will start a new connection. Enter your nickname, make sure the chatserver and server protocol are the same as in the picture. Enter the channels you’d like to join and click on connect. Mibbit: an online irc-client. Go to www.mibbit.com and click on ‘launch Mibbit Webchat’. Enter your nickname and the channel you want to join. Make sure the IRC server is set on SwiftIRC. Click connect. [spoiler=III.Registring your nickname.] On IRC you can register your nickname. This way you will have to enter your password every time you connect to IRC, this allows you to have a rank in your channels and protect your nick against other pll. To register you nick you will have to enter this in your chat window: /ns register <pass> <pass> <e-mail> <e-mail> example /ns register example example [email protected] [email protected] Make sure the mail adress u provided is a valit one, because they will send you and email to validate you registration. In this e-mail u will receive a code which you will have to copy paste in your chatwindow. Everytime you enter IRC you will have to enter /ns identify <pass> or /msg NickServ IDENTIFY <pass> both will work. Allthough most programs have a way to automaticly identify. For Swiftkit, just press ‘set-up auto-identify’ enter your pass in the box that appears and you will no longer have to identify whenever you use this nickname. [spoiler=IV.Usefull commands.] Here is a list of usefull command, both for ranks as for normal users. /mode <#channel> + v/h/o <user> This command gives the user voice (v), half-op (h) or opperator (o) rank. To remove the rank set an – in stead of +. /cs access <#channel> add <user> <rank> The ranks are: 3=voice, 4=half-op, 5=operator, 10=channel moderator This command gives permanent ranks to registered users. They will automaticly receive this rank when then identify on the channel. /invite <name> <#channel> This invites the person, bot into your channel. Most bots can only be invited by a rank. Example of the most common bots: RuneScript (runescape bot which is able to show ge prices etc) Onzichtbaar (a game bot) /join <#channel> Makes you join that channel !defname <name> Whenever u make a certain command without giving the <user>, it automaticly takes <name> !ge <item> shows the price of the item in the grand exchange (runescript bot needed) !geupdate or !gu shows how long ago the ge updated. (runescript bot needed) !cash, !jackpot or !jp, !lot All commands for the Onzichtbaar bot. !track <user> @<number> day/week shows the amount of xp u gained. When u dont include a number of days, it automaticly takes 1week. [spoiler=V. Extra.]

What FOG item reward is...?
the most used fog items are probably the f2p items (bers shield, rune gaunts and druid robes) and the drag gloves. the f2p stuff because they are the best u can get in f2p in terms of bonuses and the drag gloves because they are the most profit/token the battle robes are wanted a lot but not many pll want to get that many points.
-
Green Drags/Aviancies
ill have to go with the other 3, greens is awsome money but ull have to run a lot and theres allways chances of being crowded etc... aviansies u can stay nearly forever. i tried both, after 4 trips of greens i went crazy ^^

Karamja Diary...
as stated above, just for the tzaar caves, ull reach the 360 without problem and normally with some pray left but to be sure take 2 extra ppots, some monks for whenever u might get hit and range away from a safespot for the goudweet tuber, ull have to get 100% happiness anyways and while doing this u might get 1, otherwise put an offer @ max in ge for couple of days

Howowz' living rocks cavern guide Table of Contents I. Why going to Living Rocks Caverns? II. Where are the living rocks? III. What you can do there? IV. Fishing Part IV.1 Fishing Spots IV.2 Fishing requirements IV.3 Fishing Gear V. Mining Part V.1 Mining Spots V.2 Mining requirements V.3 Mining Gear VI. Melee part VI.1 Drops VI.2 Gear VII. Summoning VIII. Tips [spoiler=I. Why going to Living Rocks Cavern?] With the introduction of Living Rock Cavern Jagex brought mining closer again to the mining we used to know at the beginning: rocks with multiple ores. These so called deposit rocks (gold and coal) are just like most trees (except normal trees): they have a random amount of ores in it before they are "empty". It's also the only place where u can fish cave fish and rocktail (the most healing fish in runescape) or where u can fight against the living rocks. [spoiler=II. Where is the Living Rocks Cavern?] To reach the cavern, there are 2 routes: 1. Run from Edgeville to the Dwarven Mines under Ice Mountain and climb down the ladder. There run to the pickaxe shop and climb down the rope at the dungeon icon on your minimap. if you have finished the 'Perils of Ice Mountain' quest, u can also use the ladder at the pickaxe factory for a short cut. 2. Run from Falador to the Dwarven Mines and from there to the pickaxe shop in the North-East of the mines. Climb down the rope at the dungeon icon on your minimap. Living Rocks Cavern [spoiler=III. What can you do here?] Fishing: cave fish and rocktail can only be caught here Mining: only place with depostit rocks Melee: only place where u can fight the living rocks IV. Fishing part [spoiler=IV.1 Fishing spots] Just like all the fishspots these like to move around, the blue areas are where i usualy fished them. [spoiler=IV.2 Fishing requirements] Cave fish: lvl 85 fishing needed lvl 88 cooking needed to cook, heals 200 LP + a +2 boost to a random cb skill (not summ). there is no lvl at which they never burn items needed: fishing rod + normal fishing bait. Rocktail: lvl 90 fishing needed lvl 93 cooking needed to cook, heals 230 LP + can heal 100 over max LP there is no lvl at which they never burn items needed: fishing rod + living minerals (can be mined from living rock remains). [spoiler=IV.3 Fishing gear] Allways wear highest defbonus gear against the attacks of the living rocks while fishing or changing from spot. this is the setup i use: body: bandos > barrows > rune legs: bandos > barrows > rune shield: dfs > drag sq > obby/granite > rune cape: trimmed skillcape > skillcape > sw-cape V. Mining part [spoiler=V.1 Mining spots] the red dots are coal deposits, the yellow 1s are the gold deposits. [spoiler=V.2 Mining requirements] Living Rock remains: thanks to Tip.It mining guide for pic they are the bodies of killed Living Rocks and give an amount of living minerals lvl 73 needed xp: 25 Concentrated coal deposit: thanks to Tip.It mining guide for pic they last for a random amount of time before being "empty". lvl 77 needed xp: same as normal coal, 50/ore Concentrated gold deposit: thanks to Tip.It mining guide for pic they last a random amount of time before being "empty". lvl 80 needed xp: same as normal gold, 65/ore [spoiler=V.3 Mining gear] Same as for fishing: take as much defence bonus as possible. whenever a Living rock attacks you, try to hugg it around the rock to prevent them from reaching you. this is the gear I use: body: varrock armour* > bandos > barrows > rune legs: bandos > barrows > rune shield: dfs > drag sq > obby/granite > rune cape: trimmed skillcape > skillcape > sw-cape *The varrock armour gives a chance of mining 2 ores at ones and is very usefull in fuller worlds since the large amount of pll reduce the hits u would take. U need at least varrock armour 1 for coal and varrock armour 2 for gold. VI. Melee part [spoiler=VI.1 NPC's] Living rock protector: Lvl: 120 Style: Melee Extra: If you have killed him you can mine his remains to get living minerals (see mining part) Drops: 100%: / Other: Mithril pickaxe, Adamant pickaxe, Mud(3), Nature(4), Death(3), Soft clay(3, noted), Silver ore(3, noted), Gold ore(3, noted), Coal(3, noted), Mithril ore(3, noted), Adamantite ore (1, noted), Uncut gems(1, noted), Charms (1) Living rock striker Lvl: 140 Style: Ranger + Melee Extra: If you have killed him you can mine his remains to get living minerals (see mining part) Drops: 100%: / Other: Mithril pickaxe, Adamant pickaxe, Mud(3), Nature(4), Death(3), Soft clay(3, noted), Silver ore(3, noted), Gold ore(3, noted), Coal(3, noted), Mithril ore(3, noted), Adamantite ore (1, noted), Uncut gems(1, noted), Charms (1) Living rock patriarch Lvl: 200 Style: Melee(when standing close) + Ranger (when being farther away) Extra: If you have killed him you can mine his remains to get living minerals (see mining part) Drop: 100%: Mud rune(125), Blood rune(125), Uncut diamond(8, noted), Runite ore(3, noted) Other: / [spoiler=VI.2 Melee gear] A high defence armour combined with a good weapon is best. This is my gear: body: bandos > barrows > rune legs: bandos > barrows > rune shield: dfs > drag sq > obby/granite > rune cape: trimmed skillcape = fire cape > skillcape > sw-cape weapon: whip > ... spec weapon: sgs > excalibur (e) > dds [spoiler=VII. Summoning] Summoning can help u lasting longer in the cave or reducing the amount of trips to the deposit box. Since the whole cavern is non-multi, only healing or BoB familars are of any use. The best are: - Bunyip lvl 68 (Melee) - Unicorn lvl 88 (Melee) - War tortois lvl 67 (Fishing and Mining) - Pack Jack lvl 96 (Fishing and Mining) - Granite lobster lvl 74 or Ibis lvl 56 (Fishing boost) - Lava titan lvl 83 (Mining boost) Chosing a familiar that boosts you level is usefull to enlarge the speed with which u mine or fish, this can be very handy in very populated worlds like w84 (see tips). You can recharge your summoning at the obelisk just outside the cave.. [spoiler=VIII. Tips] - Put some music on so it make less boring. - If you are mining gold ore than it is best to take the 2 south-east gold rocks. whenever they are empty, mine coal at the rock near the gold rocks so u can watch whenever they "respawn". - If you got living rock monsters on you, try to hug them around the rock so they can not reach you. - Bring summoning familiars so u have to go bank less. - If you train or fish here, think about the money that you get and not the slow xp. Living rocks arent the fastest xp. - world 84 is seen as the unofficial LRC-world. The benefit is that the chances getting hit are very low (and since time the deposit rocks last isnt affected by the amount of poeple mining them u get as much ore as on an empty world), tho at the same time the fishing spots will be out very soon. - when u dont want to wait and check for the active rocks yourself, or just want to have a random chat while mining, join one of the LRC cc's: Mining Golds - allways in w84, rock calls and general chat Mininggolds - switches world every once in a while for people who lagg in w84 MG W84 - w84, only rock calls, no general discution MG W77- w77, only rock calls, no general discution special thanks to Lakeonfire for posting the base of this guide on our clan's forum thanks to every1 who helped making the guide better.

Snipeing Divine/Elysian off G.E
usualy trying to be 1 of the firsts to update ur offer to max price after a ge update is seen as the best way to get 1 from ge. thats how i did it for claws after tds got released but never tried it for ely/divine srr.
-
penanec horn
it takes 10 full rounds to fill the horn. thats why its certainly not worth it for fm since u do about 1 round/h in a good team. only skills where id use it would be agil and mining
-
Shattered Heart
oh but thats only the case if u build 1 every week ofc xD if not, ull never finish the statue in ur rs career xD
-
Genie Lamps
there are no "right" skills to use genie lamps on. usualy i use them on the lvl i cba to train atm or skill where there isnt a lot xp left till lvl. in my case i usualy spend them on farming and herblore, just cuz i wana lvl them but farm is to slow and herb costs to much xD
-
Mining
fastest is powermining granite and its probably the best thing u can do, once u get used to the clicking and ur using a enchanted water tiara you will lvl fast enough. u can allways do some starhunting meanwhile but see that as a bonus rather then real xp.

multiple charms reward @ familiarisation
ok ill first try it with wfs... the moneys isnt the problem, just need 1k crims asap :P btw how many times can this minigame thing be done? 1s a week, 1s a day, couple times a day? and the tip.it site states that u can cash in ur rewards @ the summ master, can this be done with the contact spell on lunar? ty for the answers :)

Ffs slayer again
with ur bank id advise to buy a guth set, and maybe a range ammy for those range rasks. the guth body/legs can then replace the rune body/legs and can be used as an extra healing methode on tasks that hit more then ur bunyip can heal. get a fire cape tho... isnt that anoying to get and its way better then sw cape, if u wont, sw cape is fine. replace the explorer ring with a slayer ring, u save 1 spot in inv + it can tele u to the most important places. if u havent bought the ability to make them yet, do it asap!! buy some sup sets also (or make em), it speeds up tasks quite a lot and doesnt cost that much. do seers diary hard part, excalibur is worth a lot and it removes the need to take sup def pots and even sometimes guth spear/helm with u on tasks. for the side note, i prefer the limps, some more xp and they are usualy quite anoying to buy in ge.
-
Shattered Heart
yes u need to build the varrock stat a couple of times to collect the 30 replica pieces

Most efficient way of switching to and from Ancient Magicks?
use ancients and teletabs, to reacht trollheim patch just put on some climbing boots, use fairy ring to slayercaves (or slay ring) and enter the troll stronghold from the back (u arrive in the dungeon and have to get up till roof) the time u need to go that way is about the same as u need when using trollheim tele. if u really want to switch from ancient to nrm u better us sceptre, buy the tabbles or whatever u want to recharge and do as bladdewing suggested: u turn them on by teleing to piramide and prayign altar, u put em of by teleporting with an 'astral tab' (teles u to astral rc altar, u need a seal of passage) and p^raying twice at the altar.
