(how long until the mine is finished?) The inquisitor starts organizing the various priests in the church for mass prayer to the sun god. A scouting party is sent to look for any promising candidates for heavy infantry and a heavy infantry commander.

Workers are sent out to mine the metal and plant the trees for the forest. The inquisitor then starts the twelve rites to the sun god (twelve prayers in preparation for battle).

Would those count as necromancers per chance nex? Workers are set to gather wood and stone whilst the priests scry for any available deposits of metal (again). The Horsemen are given what weapons that are availlable and those that are armed are set out on a scouting party for cows/wild horses/domesticatable animals in general. EDIT: Necromancers nex!?!?!

Okay then, the scrying mirrors are set up and the clerics are asked to scry for metal deposits. The elder horse commander is asked to train the cavalry who show promise into a cohesive fighting force. The inquisitor Lord Aldes Caroma goes to look on the craftsmen on the parade ground and find out their respective professions.

The inquisitioner asks the priests what they need for scrying mirrors. Scouts are ordered to look again for metals and wood and the cavalry commander is sent out to look for any promising young horsemen that might be inducted into the crusade of the sun god.

Scouting parties are sent out to look for wood stone metal and wild domesticatable animals. Any craftsmen are asked to report to parade grounds to announce their particular specialty.

Well then new orders for the clerics then; One will scry to look for enemies and the other will scry to look for potential resources (wood and metal to be specific). A party is sent to look for any promising young bowmen and the lord inquisitioner pays a visit to the local church of the sun god for his daily prayers.

The lord inquisitioner requests a scouting party to find out the number of citizens in the city to be found as well as their skills/positions. He then has the clerics attempt to scry for enemies in the area.

La Place de la lumière (city name) is overlooked by the lord inquisitor in his righteous fury. He asks his assistant for the figures of how many able bodied men are at his disposal "To bring the holy fire unto this foul grassland".

Currently /b/ disgusts me (in that it has lost almost all power to amuse me and seems to be filled with quite a few twelve year olds screaming ANONYMOUS IS LEGION, etc, etc.) though occasionally it can be interesting I just don't like it all too much (it was [cabbage] but now it's quite a bit worse).

I'm up for this. On a semi related note is animal sacrifice still comparable to human sacrifice?

Last game you could sacrifice animals as well retech (so one has huge constructs and a large army). Also retech last game I had heavy cavalry and cannons so I'm fairly certain that your golems would not last all too long. So earth what is the verdict for the clerics being spellcasters as well?

That reminds me earth on another note about the clerics of Amaunator they essentially take the role of spell casters in my army (I don't have sorcerers I instead have warrior priests). That being said the entire army is essentially on a crusade so should they get a bonus against enemies that do not worship Amaunator god of the sun?

A bit more of an explanation towards my army: The hate the undead and those who raise them (ie witches) as well as human sacrifice (again think of them like a crusade) also they dislike arcane magic users enough to not use them in their armies instead using clerics to call down divine wrath upon their enemies.

Well then I guess I will start this off for you. Name: Aldes Caroma Inquisitor of the church of Amaunator. Weapon: War-hammer Alignment (because this works for me): Lawful Neutral Race: Humans Adviser: Ser Perir Banner: A silver four pointed star set upon a crimson field Armies: Highly disciplined spear-men with horse archer support. Clerics of the god Amaunator (god of the sun) provide the spell casting power in the army as opposed to sorcerers. Generally against sorcerers in general and necromancers in particular they see that their duty is to purge the unclean from the land with the holy fire of their god. House: House Caroma Bastard house: House Haze Backstory: The great god Amaunator gazed upon the plains in the south and found them lacking. In his righteous fury he called forth a crusade against the heathens of the plains and burnt through them as a flame does through the dry grass they call their home. Some years after the great crusade had left it became popular for exiled inquisitioners of the church to lead their own crusade through the godless territories.

Well then to start this off (on a non completely [developmentally delayed]ed note); What do you people think about web censorship and is anyone interested in any emergent technologies that they might wish to share for debate (or medical procedures).

If I remember correctly lobotomies can be done through the eyes (with an instrument reminiscent of an ice pick) or chemically (no surgery at all just a [bleep]ed up brain!). In any rate I am rather opposed towards mob rule (basically what mather is describing) because I believe government should work for the best of us but have safeguards against the worst (and mob rule doesn't really have that many safe guards if you ask me).

Rocco that would effectively raise the voting age to 21-25 (assuming a 3 year college graduation). While it is true that college does foster useful skills (outside of your choice of study) unless we make university free (or very heavily subsidized) it would result in mild classism (the poor cannot afford to go to x university and so they cannot vote). On a note about my pet idea the only real downside I can think of is lack of voter turn out and cost (which can be solved by programing the quiz into voting machines as well as the quiz booklet). The lack of voter turn out can be solved easily as well by making voting mandatory (or at the very least attempting the test until you either pass or your use up your tries) so if one does not vote one would suffer a fine or a small raise in their income tax (well the income tax rate would go up but you would get a tax reduction for voting).

The thing is retech that would cost quite a bit of cash to make college free. Which would result in higher taxes, which would result in the conservatives [bleep]ing for awhile. Also assuming 70-80% of the manufacturing is done in third world countries the united states would not be hit all too hard (Well at first at least) whilst we rip the living [cabbage] out of the third world's economy when they are not offering a free college education. So in short not much would change (aside from some construction workers with liberal arts majors) and we would be hard hit economically (and piss quite a few people off). The reason why I like a basic political science test for this would be that it would force the populace to become better educated and it would cut down on the number of uninformed and misled people by a fair margin (providing the test itself was neutral to political ideologies). This would result in a far greater number of informed voters than say a free liberal arts or math major. That being said I do agree that higher education should in fact be heavily subsidized or free (to make it possible for the public to be better educated).

If you ask me that would be slightly classist (unless we adopt the general European style of having colleges free at the pass of a test) as not everyone can afford a college education. I do think the test would be valid if it was on political science and things that would actually be relevant to political discussion (ie you shouldn't need to analyze roman frescoes to be able to vote). If one were to institute the test it would have to be taken every time you vote (and allow a limited number of retakes per time of vote).

Koriagla attempts again to get a general direction for the highest concentration of life (ie area) using nature magic whilst Grim climbs down from the tree.

Team Leviathan has Koriagla attempt to locate the largest concentration of life with nature magic whilst Grim attempts to create a long blade running down and out of his elemental staff out of cold fire.

Retech treat team Leviathan as a support group (I've got to go for now but still) Also don't use Koriagla as a DPS kind of guy he is more along the lines of support (ie summons allies [crocs etc] to do the heavy lifting [or scouting])
