well this simply adds 10 years to all research projects but that's about it. Also you do realize that we could *gasp* spend quite a bit less simply recreating the deep sea lines and cutting off india completely... EDIT: What would you people think about when we do hegemedieval using a more realistic map (That I may already have provided)

Think of hegemony as a slow burning fire; it may not always be so active but if you lean in to close (become innactive) when a gust of wind comes along (war) it will burst up into flames (new argumen... erm posts) and you will be running around with your clothes on fire (country being destroyed).
