  1. Quite the opposite of what i meant, i can 1v1 farcast in f2p relatively well.
  2. Yes, but it freezes them from the time you start casting the spell, so its still 5 seconds, giving you enough time to cast 1 spell, and run away. Then you bind again.
  3. It is actually 5 seconds. As far as i can tell.

Or sometimes all worlds are full, and they are better off stealing your spot because you have inferior levels and they will be better off, in which they deserve it more than you do because they took more time to train the skill.
  5. Thats the stuff.
  6. Yes, and? It still dosent stop the fact that if someone gets multiple 99's in less than a year, plays to much. Sure im not saying they are a nerd, they could be awesum in all ways, but they still play to much, so they still fit into the average runescape players perception of "nerd" Perhaps you yourself would need to play "too much" to max total level, but other players are efficient and know what they are doing. You assume that every player is like you and wastes time sitting in banks doing nothing. Theres only so much "efficiency" can get you, you need alot of time as well. No, I'm not saying they are nerdy, i wouldn't be afraid to admit they are better than me on numerous fields outside runescape, but I'm saying they probably play to much, which is what people associate with being nerdy in runescape.

    Yea, i hate that to.
  8. So... Meleers risk money to. In PVP you have a chance to lose items anyway as a meleer, so its not to bad, and using corrupt dragon baxe is actually semi effective, though that dosent really matter. No, they are not going to die to pjers, its f2p, unless your an idiotic safer, you won't die. Eat once your twice and your "meleer" who by the way has a lower max hit than you even with a r2h, will be losing the fight.
  9. Awesum, but i think we would need to implement a real clan system first. And cut down on XP in the "clan village" for skills like mining so its not so much of a easy xp place. Smithing, and other skills could stay same xp.
  10. I never said it dose, but runescapes version of nerd is play to much, "no life" etc, nothing to do with being smart like a nerd should mean. So, playing to much, fits into the average runescape players perception of being a nerd.
  11. If you manage to get hacked in the first place its your fault. People got hacked all the time, its just more people whine about it nowadays. Decent password, decent recovery's, get jagex to implement optional log in pin, get a decent antivirus, and don't enter your password at random places or download random programs. Its fairly common sense stuff, if you get hacked, its really your fault. He must have downloaded something dodgy, or something like that. That or hacking really is getting more sophisticated, but i doubt it. Who would waste THAT much time to have runescape, why not go for bank accounts, etc?

Jagex meant the 10 second heavily animated ads you had to watch before you entered the game.

  14. Not quite, range gets its max hit and accuracy increased every level past 40. Same with melee. Mage sorta just gets super accuracy with a level 59 spell.
  15. Time is THE most important, money later, and being "swift" with the mouse is last. I don't care how efficient you are, if you don't have alot of time on your hands, your not going to get very far.
  16. Look, it dosent really matter how efficiently you train, if you have multiple 99's in less than a year, without bug abuse/extreme luck and money to throw around, you probably play to much, or have far to much time to throw around (primary school, etc) Thats not to say your a nerd, because nerds would spend there time doing homework, etc, not playing runescape, but it would make them what runescapers perceive as "nerdy". Actually, it matters very much how efficiently you train. Who is going to get 99 fletching faster, the guy fletching dragon darts, or the guy making arrow shafts? If you're good at this game, like a few other posters have said, you don't need to spend a ton of time playing to get a lot of experience. Consider that you probably log on and just stand around doing nothing while the top ranked players are out there working very hard on gaining experience. It all adds up. And, its still going to take forever, and you need to get the money in the first place to fletch the dragon darts by either extreme luck, or epic skilling and combat to get money.
  17. They give the same bonuses. But druid helps binding spells, but they are semi useless in pvp especially if you are non member + with a clan. I would get neither.
  18. Im on top! :P. Actually, i have no idea, i think its just random.
  19. And? This goes for both fighters and mages. I never said constant 16's , i just said the max hit is higher, and its more accurate.

And you can stop complaining because its NOT your spot, as much as you think it may be.
  22. Sir_Kurity replied to Wot's topic in Rants
They have just as a right to be there as you are. I could say, because you were there first, you had your turn already, so now its mine? See, you can argue both ways, theres no way to keep everyone happy.
  23. Thats basically why iron/granite is still best for training. and not coal.
  24. If you have 99 in most skills, you probably play a whole lot. So you could be considered "nerdy". The ones who have played for years and years to get high levels, it isnt so bad, because it kind of means they are at least a semi casual player, but the ones who get ultra high levels in less than a year, play to much for there own good.
  25. When zezima or mmg is in there, the chat is filled with so much spam, it would test anyones patience.
