Wearing prossy or initiate is better than karils. I've tested it myself Heh I didn't know :) I was only going on what the guide on tip.it says...... Reckon you'll write an updated guide for us Toast? I'd sure love to KBD on a few of my slayer tasks.

Dh legs only have +6 more ranged defence with all the other values staying the same. Same with torag. Verac beats guthans skirt by about 10 in each of the defence stats other than range where it beats it by 2. And overall out of the majority of slayer tasks you're going to be doing you'll be meleeing and not taking ranged damage. Therefore with the added prayer bonus verac's skirt is superior. Also if Sammyboy ever got his prayer to 70 (forgot his stats so I assume he hasn't) and has a task like hellhounds and he wishes to check out piety he can just pop a prosy plate on and have high defence and prayer. (;) Yes this could be needed. even with 99 defence I need a setup like this on hells or nechs because I simply take too much damage now at times)

Because Jagex are British. Just like my blasted stupid government too..... It'd be way too simple to do something like that....... So they make everything complex, over dramatise it, and annoy alot of americans whilst at it...... So it's not all bad ;) (BTW I can't wait to move out of this country for a while, going to go to america for a bit after uni ^^)

KBD This gives you setups etc. Use Karils or Black Dhide, Protect melee, drink anti-fire, anti-poison etc. Anyways, I'll let you read the rest. If you're on a slayer task, it's a fun diversion and probably much easier. Oh and with the LBS vs whip, IMO whip is great against all but mithril which need the LBS. Keep with whip ;)

Pure here has a point. there's always a debate though when to pot so it's not a "waste". I'd say between 5 and 3 levels from being back to normal. Eg for me i'll repot betweel 88 and 90 in my melee stats. Or if you don't mind burning through money more quickly (some people do, but I don't), you can repot every 5 minutes. I do that to get the most out of each spec, which is important when you use SGS for specs, but if you don't, then pot just about any time. Just figure out how much you're willing to spend on pots for training and let that decide for you. Ooooooor :P Decide if you want to make slayer a pretty self sufficient skill and get your herblore. This way you're spending little money for pots that'll cost roughly the same as the herbs (eg prayer..... when ranarr is 15K so is prayer pot)

ugh, I can't take having only fally shield 2 any more..... I want the number 3 :( Any idea what's the fastest RC exp about and how long will it take me to get from 53 to 56 using it? I really don't want to grind nats at it really bored me after a while. Also..... even though it's not in the title, what's the fastest way for me to go from 56 to 66 thieving? I would love ardy cape 3.

Cannon speeds up tasks considerably if he has the cash and chooses to use it. Also in some situations it profits (wyverns, aberrants, strykewyrms) and gives good range exp, however it is not 100% necessary, it's a luxury for those who can. Might I ask why the torag legs? ;) Verac skirt has same values as T Legs and a prayer bonus, allowing the poster to switch the plate for prosylite and have extra defence as veracs is only 1 prayer point below prosy legs. Guthan top has same def as torags, so meh. Dragon square is good for defence, but tbf the poster will find much more use out of the accuracy bonus of a rune defender on slayer tasks. torag legs are cheaper. same with guthan top. Verac skirt is worth the extra money. It's only a couple of hundred K on top and gives epic defence if you want to piety things.

Yes but you have 91 in both attack and defence which if you super pot is atleast level 110 in each ;) so you kill things quicker than either myself and the topic poster

Same opinion as the above poster. Change torso for torag plate. Honestly it owns :) Also keep with the rune defender for everything. If you're really getting hit that badly then drink some super defence potion ;) There have been times where I've had to humble and use it, so do it :) Also if it's an easy task that you know you can do quick like hellhounds, gargs or something why not pop on prosy and piety them? And if you find it troublesome then just add in a super defence pot. Also yes switch to the def cape (t) as it has a +4 prayer bonus and is like 200K or so cheaper than obby.

Taking the stats off the Fighter Torso to only put them back hours later after whingers got up in arms and threatened to quit. And you can probably count Ice Strykewyrms too as so many people whinged about the fire cape requirement so they added in 2K points cost to get them assigned.

I'm guessing most people use their stock, but I mean...... If you can't shift the 70m in herbs why not stockpile them and then next week spend time gathering 2nds? Sure it's boring, mundane and annoying, but in the long run you're essentially gaining about what? 2m a week from MTK in herbs for spending 525,000gp.... So forgive me if I am wrong but...... surely cheaper herblore levels might make sense? And don't forget your char becomes epic at bosses with higher level pots and familiars ;) But sell if you want..... IMO people already have their herbs so demand is falling also your own herblore levels for fractional cost is way better. Also because everyone knows about this weekend alot of people were herb farming and putting them on GE/RSOF just to gain that bit of extra profit.

Brilliant. Will try it out then. What setup did you use out of curiosity? And there's a high chance that I'll get 86 attack this task so s'all good :thumbsup: How many cannon balls would you say? I currently have about 1600 in my invo now (setting up) and about 33m in my bank to spend on summoning next weekend and cannonballs/prayer pots etc. So cannoning is really no problem. Also I'll probably bank the bones if/when I can so that I minimize cost and I take up a bank space (doing the whole, get 1-5 slayer levels or so then selling loot)

If my cannon disappears how long do I have to get a new one back? And..... does it cost any money to get it back?

So pretty much substitute the torag plate for karil top then? I hear cannon is debateable..... however I do have one and enough money for a good stock of cballs and I have been cannoning most of my slayer tasks..... Do you have any proof of it? Also if I needed to bank could I home tab, bank, fair ring back and run back in and still have my cannon there? And I'll be getting a unicorn next weekend :D but yea..... yip pouch in tort but the rest monks, got it.

Ok so I did my last skeletal wyvern task and found that I don't mind them. I now have another 72 or so to kill. However last task I had to bank 3 times. The first trip was good. Used what erichermit(sp?) said to (changed to karil top for torag though as he said it was outdated), and did well with the yip. Went from 90something to 41 or so (buried some bones etc)...... But then it went band and I had to do 2 more trips or so.... I know for sure that the last bank that I did I needed to kill only 9 more. Also on the other 2 trips I took a war tort filled with monks. So..... Any ideas what setup, invo and tactics I should use? Current setup: FSH, Fury, Torag, Verac, D boots, Barrow Gloves, DFS, Whip, Defence Cape, Invo: Sup attack, Sup Strength, Sup defence, monkfish, lunar staff, home tab D mace (I found it to not be very good :unsure: :???: ) War tort with monks. Anyways, any hints, tips, setups etc will be greatly appreciated.

It's the same with some summoning 2nds that I've been trying to get. People have dumped things like swamp toads etc making them easy to get on the GE atm.
