This is the kind of thing I'm worried about :? :roll: There are going to be so many people with your mentality about it....... I always used to wonder how people died from these games like you hear about occasionally...... And it seems that something like this is one of the reasons. I'm on GMT obviously, and so will hope and pray that CW is empty tomorrow morning. Will probably have to get up at 11 to make sure I'm ready on RS, then I'll pop on some music and just keep an eye on RSOF to see it explode with rants about how full everywhere is, and as soon as it's 12:01 I'll log in and begin summoning as I'll log out with an invo of granite lobs ready to be made. You get up at... 11? Wow I've only done that like... once. I usually get up around 6-ish. My parents ALWAYS go to bed at 9 and get up at 4 to go to the gym before they have to head off to work at 7. They sometimes wake me up anyway. I don't really see why you're worried :-? . They engineered this to where after 10 hours of IN-GAME time across the 4 days your multiplier will only be 1.1 or just barely better than normal. That's about 2-3 hours of time per day. Seems perfectly reasonable to me... I'd be worried if they offered 2x exp across all 4 days. Then you'd probably get your obsessive players spending 96 hours on RS. D: D: woah...... I normally get up at like 11..... I'm a uni student, it's good that I'm awake any time of day before 12 and bloodangel can vouch for that too I'm guessing. Though some days I do have 9am lectures. However it doesn't help that I usually stay up till like 2-3am playing on halo with my gfs brother :-s Anyways the way I meant it was, I'm wondering how many americans will actually be there tonight going "ah mai gawd, ah mai gawd!!!! EXPZ!!!! Need 2 stai awakeeee so iz can getz mai monez bak asap"........ Because I dare say a tonne of people will just to be there in the first hour of this going live. However some will be more reserved and will probably stay asleep and do it when they wake up/after school etc. And ikurai, I'd say in about 16 hours or so. It's 20:54 here in UK. So.... 15-16 hours

Kyatt works out at 3k an hour, if you are quick. Although with the amount of people using the CW bank it will probably me diminshed with the thousands of Kyatts in the place.. Well I'm going to bed early tonight so I can get up at 4 am PST. Should be done in a few hours, before my day really even starts. Doubt there will be too many people on at that time. A lot of people from the GMT timezone obviously, but not so many from the States. Love it how you called him Adopted :') I'm guessing you watch RWJ? Otherwise there's a whole element to that word you have missed out on :')

Doc Roe is correct :P I did defence with 75 attack and strength and it took forever, I'm now 85/85 and I would have found it so much easier if I had trained with these stats.

Paw Claw says it perfectly. Use her if you can. She's worth it.

Note though, with the surge in people summoning over this weekend it'll be pretty damn impossible to sell your things you make, unless you're extremely quick, and get them on the GE ASAP. So IMO trade in this weekend will be much better.

If you're going to melee anything that isn't slayer go with armoured zombies. From 89-93 defence trying them out I made ~20m. However in the end I regretted it because I have only just got 85 slayer, whereas if I had slayed all the way I'd have been 85+ long long ago

Hah, yes, is it ever. I just beat it yesterday. :P I just wanted to talk about how great the game is, sorry. xD OT: I love these kinds of things! It really makes me respect the depth of the game. ^^ Hell yes that game is amazing. :D Anyways back to what I was about the say: The past 2 pages on the 4 horsemen has been epic :D You guys really know your stuff. I love it. And also another I found another subtle reference..... it's in the transcript of the conversation between you and a granite lobster - "Granite lobster: Fremennik Player Name, what is best in life? Player: Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women!" Conan the Barbarian anyone? :) Also "goodness gracious great bird of fire" is a reference to the immortal Elvis and his song Great Balls of Fire. And the Arctic bear seems to make some sort of sly references to either Steve Irwin (<3 RIP) or Nigel Marvin. Anyone have any more?

Just wondering when exactly people think I should start doing my summoning to avoid the relentless thousands of people who will be at the CW bank during this bonus exp weekend. I live in the UK, so therefore it will be starting at 12:00PM GMT, so would it be best to start then? Or would it be better to start it on the saturday at an earlier time of say 9:00AM? What do you think?

If he's -6 hours GMT and it starts at 12:00PM GMT.... doesn't that mean it'll be 06:00AM -6GMT? Or is my time telling off?

Planning to use tomorrow to make my kyatt pouches, double and triple check I have all my charms, 2nds, shards and pouches sorted, plant my yews, make sure that I have the runes for the run that I'll be doing (wont be re-planting or planting anything until I am back to 1.1% exp or my summoning is finished). Then it really depends on what time it'll start..... if it starts at 12pm GMT that'll mean me logging in as soon as it hits to make sure it's going on, using up those teles and seeing those trees, then use the nearest bank and summon my kyatt and get all my crims, pouches, shards out and then summon all my G lobs (about 2K of them) till 83 summoning, then lava titans, then swamp titans, finishing off with 4K fruit bats and 700 barker toads, netting me between 88 and 91 summoning :) ima then kick back, and do some essays and a reflexive journal so I can spend the next weeks using my new pony and geyser in slayer.

CW will be very full. The good thing about being British is that at from about 9am till 3pm Americans are mostly sleeping so crowds will be avoided easily. I still play the game yes because it's enjoyable and jagex has never really let me down IMO until this update. The other updates were a good stroke of brilliance. The lobby is perfect. The Iron smelting is awesome. And shattered heart is intriguing. It's negatively affecting me because I am a slayer and a smither by choice on the game. This means that I need to get used to seeing 50's hit on me and not panic eating. It's from what I've seen that leads me to draw the conclusion that this update was and is a bad choice. I don't see how this waste of their resources needed to be implemented. It's not too hard to do what they did without adding a 0 onto the LP....... All they did was separate the old HP level from the new LP level...... surely to god they could atleast have the collective half braincell needed to work out that they didn't need to add a 0 and that everything they just did could be done in the old system? Or are they just that shoddy at working anything out like our half arsed governement we currently have....... I WISH Jagex had votes every 4 years too so we elect who's who there >.>

Ok, so why couldn't they do that at 80HP? have a ring that increases your max HP by 10? or at 99 having that ability to make sharks heal 25 instead of 20? The update is essentially worthless as everything can be done in the old format. In the immortal words of one Ray William Johnson: And that is what this update is. Something that's extremely necessary. Apart from the fact that Jagex are using this and the fact that members is now advertised on the log in page, shows that RS is going back to just being a cash cow being milked for every penny they can get.

As I said before..... Jagex really need to pull off something good with this otherwise they'll lose more members to WoW than they did when they released this goddamn update.

it's no big deal, it's only a Plattenpanzer...... not like it's a BCP or Tassy or hilt or anything special :P
