  1. everyone has the best set up of the: neitznot helm ammy of glory fighter torso dragon legs dragon boots best RFD gloves/either rune or dragon charged gauntlets from FoG rune defender/obby shield and whip however no one said a cape, i recon you should wear obby cape, or if you have it a trimmed skill cape or a fire cape.
  2. Based on your stats i recon either woodcutting or runecrafting
  3. tabs and flax are pehaps the fastest way with your skills, I have 64 crafting and 64 mage, and still do tbs and flax to get me money (they're helping me get veracs for when i get 70 defence)
  4. Blue dragons work a treat for me, i always seem to end up with what seems to be 1 charm per dragon
  5. I became a member about 2 months ago now  and have found that experiments in the frankenstrain dungeon give some of the best exp in the game (100 HP = about 404exp) however after i get my defence to 70 over the next few days i'll be sick of them, so i was wondering what would be an effective monster to train ranged on? or even how to use a cannon, and where would be most efficient to use it? I'm thinking of getting my ranged to about 70 maybe to 85 using iron knives. Any help would be much appreciated :) Thanks in advance Ez
  6. I'd advise prayer, only because the cape looks pretty sweet trimmed and untrimmed, and also it's my second favorite skill
  7. smithing till you get to level 88 is definately worth it because you can then make runite bars making 2K profit each bar (basing that figure on buying 1 runite ore, the amount of coal needed and a nature rune for superheat item). To be fair i'd agree with the super heat item part, however you'll make a loss on all bars until you do reach 85 (i currently do mithril bars this way and loose 18gp per bar, and when i reach 70 i'll loose 1gp per adamantine bar).
  8. 1 thing though, wtf is charged gauntlets? They were the worn out dragon gauntlets off the GE....... he got them charged at fist of guthix for around 50 tokens i think.
  9. though my stats may be very nooby XD (my str is 53 btw so it isn't ranked, and my defence is now 65) I've recon you could. I had a friend who tried irons at my level....... it took him ages to defeat them, but he got a tonne of blood runes and a dplate legs........ what he wore was: Helm of neitznot proselyte armour antidragon shield ammy of fury obby cape and dragon boots and charged gauntlets. he also stocked his inventory with prayer pots (for protect from melee) and antifire pots (to reduce dragonfire damage to 0) Also he had a weapon with the stab attack (as they're weak to stab) So that's what i'd reconmend for you, though you'll obviously need less prayer pots......... also be careful of their long range dragonbreath.
  10. Erm I'm not too sure where to fight them (only ever fought some once in taverly dungeon), but i've heard that anti fire pot, and anti dragonshield whilst praying melee make good and efficient combo....... and they shouldn''t be hard to kill with your levels
  11. Even with my inferior range level, i'd advise the rune crossbow and mithril bolts....... the blue drags you can safe spot in the cave where the ogre shamans are during watch tower pay for the cbow and the bolts after the first inventory or so (based on you buying 2000 mith bolts and a rune cbow).
  12. Hey, I'm quite new to the forums =) The reason i posted this topic was that i am currently wanting to get my smithing to atleast level 85, and i am wondering what would be the quickest and what would then be the most cost efficient way to get it there from 61 (my current smithing level)......... i have been doing the superheat item technique on mithril for some time, loosing 18gp per bar (maybe peanuts, but it all mouts up), and also it takes quite a while with being only able to smith 5 at a time. So any hints, tips and advice would be greatly appreciated =) Ez
  13. It's a great guide..... now people could do with one for free players.
