  1. Might as well add my question to this thread..... wasn't there a glitch with dragonstones with the gem seller down there? because i remember one time i had some i didn't want, and i sold them to the seller down there, and it would go from 0 in stock to black, back to 0 within a few seconds.
  2. perhaps it was just you were pumped up too? could have been doing it to the beat or something? I know that when i put on some Lamb of God or something that i like I'll be much happier, and will do more things to the beat \
  3. Haha thanks, greatly appreciated. And aye it is wierd, but worth a good shield. Do you know how far i need to get through Legends for RFD? I just started it. Like just started it. But I may be wrong. Thanks for that :D By the way, how far into the jungle is the vanilla pod i need for RFD?

  5. I'm currently part way through doing Recipie for Disaster, and have just realised i need to *start* legends quest, however i don't have the requirements. This means i can do all the sub quests (except the monkey and amik, also the final fight (though i'm not worried about that yet)). I was wondering if it went on the same policy as heroes quest - if you have the quests required you can start the quest. I'm not sure how far into the quest i need to go, or whether i will need the 45 herb, 50 agil, and 50 thieving requirements to do the part i need. Any advice, or previous experience would be welcomed. Ez
  6. I'll take a look into those 2 quests. My hunter level is 23 currently, meaning that the only thing i can seem to make OK money from is polar kebbit furs, however it does take a while and i only make about 53K per inventory i get.
  7. Basically i've been doing slayer for the past week and been loving it, i've had enough drops off fire giants and basilisks to pay for my veracs top and skirt to be fixed, and i have always got enough money to pay for the sharks i use.... however..... i would like a good way to make money that doesn't include flax into bowstring or smithing, or rcing or wcing, or fishing. I was wondering if there was a way in which i could make big money fast, not necessarily leveling up my skills. I've heard of merchanting, but i still don't understand it fully. So any help would be appreciated  Ez
  8. why use initiate? You're sacraficing good melee stats for something that isn't that good. Use veracs instead (when i went to bronze drags i used veracs, black mask, and the invent people had suggested above, and whilst i was figuring everything to have out, i bought the initiate set, and found that my verac set up had +12 prayer, and that my initiate set also had +12 prayer) as it gives same prayer bonus.
  9. What would you guys reconmend for me to kill 35 bronze dragons? (new task) Should i keep my veracs, black mask, d long, d gauntlets (charged), and d boots for it (i have around +12 prayer bonus) (also i'll have the anti-dragon shield to make the firebreath attack count as nothing with the antifire pots), and also would my inventory of - 5 super str (to boost my str which is now 57 to around 65), 5 antifire, 10 prayer, 3 emergency shark, emergency tele tab, and ddp, be good enough for me to kill all 35? (i know i need the axe, 905gp, and slayer gem)
  10. cb79 actually ;) It's just because i only have 53 strength so it isn't ranked...... but when i do my fire giant task I'll get enough exp to get it most of the way to 57, or get my attack most of the way to 63, so either way i'll be happy with the exp....... just got to figure out which to do, attack or strength  What i would suggest is to get your strength up to 60 first, maybe even 65-70. After that get attack to 70 so you can use the might Abyssal Whip. I hope you have a d scimmy? I'll follow that advice of the strength :D and then yeah, i'm aiming for the whip, and full guthans. And you can hope all you want, but unfortunately i haven't done monkey madness :( So i'm using my favorite weapons instead - Dragon Battle Axe/Dragon Mace/DDP

  12. Thanks for all the replies, it's very useful. I went to chealder for the first time yesterday, and got set 113 Fire Giants...... seems like good exp too by my calculations as i'll get around 50K exp in the melee, range or mage attack i use on them
  13. basically my questions are: 1) Does lummy stove actually burn less fish than other stoves/fires? 2) Do the cooking gauntlets apply to all fish, or is it only Lobbies, swordies, and sharks they help with?
  14. Seeing as i got 70 defence yesterday i want to aim to get my strength from 53 to 60 then my attack from 60 to 70. My current master is chealder, and i was wondering if i should change master, or who the best master would be to go to for tasks to level those combat skills effectively quickly - this is because i camped out down with the experiments for the past 2 days, and don't want to go there again for a while. Also what is the ideal slayer set up to wear on tasks? and is a black mask worth it? Sorry there are so many questions :-# Ez
  15. you did? why didn't anyone tell me whilst i was on f2p? Oh that's right..... they never told me because the only dragon you fight on f2p is Elvrag  Tbf for f2p the only money makers are smithing, mining, fishing and woodcutting, oh and runecrafting. Or maybe even fighting the cockroach soldiers (they drop rune scimis)
  16. surely with your stats fighting or safespotting blues in the ogre enclave is better money? and nearer a bank too? or what about black dragons in the members dungeon? or safespotting them?
  17. I got my veracs a little while ago today seeing as i got 70 defence (and showed you lot in the screen shot page topic), however something hit me so it's no longer verac's brassard, or veracs plate skirt, it's verac's top, and i was wondering..... will the items degrade even if i'm just smithing, and what is the average life of the armour?
  18. I know i've been posting my what must seem like nooby achievements to you guys, but this make me really happy today
  19. erm sorry to butt in, but from my inferior lv40 agility (will be around 48 once i do one small favour and waste one 10K lamp on my most hated skill) can i do regicide, because i've got the message from King Lathas, and i need regicide for roving elves? #-o
  20. I agree with the above post. Smithing is perhaps the best skill to earn money from too though.
  21. can i butt in here and ask a question too? (saves me making another separate topic) What items can you alch and make a profit from (if you buy the nature rune and the substrate)?
  22. How about a combat guide telling people the idea set ups for the different levels eg: to get from 1 defence to 5, then to 10 etc, and the idea monsters to defeat......... actually you can ignore me, because if you did it on all combat forms melee, ranged, mage, summoning and prayer it would take forever :-# -.- #-o
  23. Haha i know this may be a nooby picture to most of you, but i was really chuffed with it today \ 1 more level till i can finally buy the veracs armour i have wanted for so long

Seeing as i'd like either cooking, firemaking or fletching first to 99 so i can get a trimmed smithing skill cape one day, i was wondering what would be a good bow to fletch from my level up to make a decent profit? I have currently been doing maple shorts however they take forever to sell on the GE, and then when i reached 55 i did maple longs thinking that people on free worlds would buy them, however they take longer than the shorts to sell....... also i have 700 odd willow longs i want to get rid of. So any ideas on what to fletch for good money, and to get to 99 easily, and also any ideas on how to get rid of my willow longs? thanks in advance Ez
  25. fair enough. Also what exactly is stealing creation?
