it depends on the person, i think that mining cape is ugly untrimmed, however someone else here may disagree and say it's the most beautiful thing on God's green earth........ it's all about you and what you want, it's your cape, it's your achievement treat it as you want.

As long as there are other 1 defence pures (and like, more than half low-mid high level pkers are) other one def pures won't be obsolete, infact the people with high defence will be obsolete because they won't get any kills because everyone will just run from them. But if the strength pures are soooooooooooooooooo much better than the people with balanced stats, or the defence pures, why don't you own them? ohhhhh that's right, because you run away hoping to find other str pures to try and fight. Pures are wrecking this game full stop. Also someone better define a pure for me, because from what i gathered a pure was someone who trains only one stat eg str to 99........ not ohhh i'll train my str to 99 and my atk to 70 and i'm still a pure. :shame: doesn't work. But still if you run away from fights why are you in pvp? i thought the idea was you fight other players? if so; grow a pair, swallow your pride and fight them! It is why pures will always be worse than mains, because mains can trash pures all the time because pures run away as they're too scared to die, or to admit they're wrong

well my main concern is loosing the money i spend on it....... is there anyone who has expreimented with how quick they buy and sell at med price?

I'm currently in the process of cutting 4343 yew logs to get me from 65 to 75 woodcutting. And yes i know maples, willows, and God knows what else is quicker but i'm mainly in it for the 2m profit as i already have 2m total from slayer so that'll give me 4m towards bandos chest plate or dfs! :thumbsup: But seeing as i'm gona be doing this for a while i have a dialemma..... if i bought a dragon axe at med price on GE, would it: 1) be worth it? 2) Be quicker than rune? if so, by how much? 3) re-sell at med price after woodcutting is done? If you want a shield to tide you over until you get a rune defender then use the obsidian shield. Although it has the same defence stats as granite i believe that the strength bonus is a good way to start. But get that defender asap! Then if you ever get the money get the DFS..... it OWNS!

I've just been reading the mining gold topic, and i've decided i want some :P i wana try and get my mining to atleast 70. HOWEVER I can do fairy tale part one easily, but do i need the requirements to do ft pt2? or can i sorta blag it to start with - eg you can start legends once you've done the quests, but don't have to have the skill requirements to start....... also how far into the quest would i have to be to gain access to the fairy rings?

RFD gloves Whip Defender Dragon Boots Obby Cape/Fire Cape/Skill Cape/Skill Cape (t) With the set up of nosepeg, prosy, rfd gloves, whip, defender, drag boots, obby cape, and glory my prayer drains at 1 point per 5 seconds If you bank the herbs then it takes me about 4 prayer pots until my invo is full, but i always take 7 just incase, so i'd advse 7......... perhaps if you've done the quest the holy wrench. Also as the above poster said, once you've killed one, you could take the prayer off to stop wasting prayer points and potions, and be quick when you attack the next one..... though that's easier then the agression is gone and you have to attack them, not they attack you.

The fire cape is a Godly cape and like everyone else on the game i want one :P it would sooooooo enhance my slayer So I was wondering if i would be able to get one once i get my defence to 75 and ranged to 70. HOWEVER! I've been reading guides and all i've seen is armadyal and guthans this, void that, and to be fair i have neither the money for armadyal or guthans or the time to waste on void (time spent getting void is time not ustilised for slayer!)....... so.... what would be adequate? NOTE: I will NOT be getting my prayer to 70 for this because of the 4m cost. So the stats i will have handy to me going into the caves: 75 (if i get it there) attack 75 (if i get it there) Strength 75 defence 70 range 60 prayer. I've also thought of having a setup along the lines of: verac helm Amulet of Glory (do not have the 2.7m free for fury >.<) Black Dhide Top verac skirt Zamorak God Book snakeskin boots avas attractor explorers ring 3 for the prayer bonus or the Archers ring black dhide vambraces..... or are the rune gloves sufficient? rune c bow around 2k addy/rune bolts 300 Diamond bolts (e) for Jad. And my inventory would look something like this: 16 super restores 6 sara brews 3 range pots, or should i use 3 range pots 10 prayer pots 6 super restore 8 sara brews 1 Shark So people you know the drill! I want your opinions? help? tips? guides? ideal set up? ideal invo? ideal places to stand and do it? ideal tactics etc? anything that will help me and people like me get a fire cape :thumbup: :thumbsup:

I'm considering finishing royal trouble and using MTK.... however....i'm strapped for cash, and can probably at a push put 750K into the coffers.... this should in theory last 10 days right? Well i was wondering if i keep the likeness at 100% and put 9 flax and 6 coal for money will i make the 750K back within the 10 days? or is it a waste of my time? or what would you guys advise for max profit?

yeah i agree with the above post. Either get torags top and torags bottom. Or pay the little extra for veracs skirt and get +4 (i think) prayer bonus. Sure it degrades, however if you do alot of slayer you'll get the money to pay for it to be repaired and then some. I think the tip.it guide on barrows armour states that if you let your armour break that the total of the cost of repairing top and bottom is only 170K! Well worth it! So combine this with slayer stuff, rfd gloves and a whip + rune defender and you'll be making alot of money in no time. However if you want a whole set then i'd say go for one that suits your needs. (i'm basing this on the fact of you killing monsters not pking) If you like your health low and hitting high go for Dharoks (sp?) If you like hitting through monsters that pray (tormented demons and kalphite queen) then go for veracs. If you like your health to remain high then go for guthans. If you enjoy mage it's obvious to go for Ahrims If you enjoy range it's obvious to go for Kahrils (sp?) And I'd leave torags well alone if you want a set as it is pretty dire unless you want the defence bonuses.

Cannons are probably worth the cost as they speed up slayer tasks if you're in a multicombat area :thumbsup: However as said above cannon balls are quite expensive, however if you don't have the money to spare to spend on cannon balls then you could just smith them though it takes a while...... mmmmmm a nice chunk of smithing exp, slayer exp, range exp and whichever melee stat you're training =P~

I have about lv24 or 25 hunter...... how long would it take to get to the level where i can hunt grey chins? and then how long from that level to hunt red chins? Also what should i hunt to make it quick, easy, and fun?

Anyone have any idea how many peng points roughly i will need to get me 70 then 85 mining from my current level and 48 agility, again from me current level?

Hey, gratz on 85 mining :) I was just wondering what tips you could give to a fellow miner about getting mining up quickly? I really would like to get my mining level to 85 to mine runite, yet you can see in my siggy that i'm a long way off..... any tips to make the journey easier? quicker? more enjoyable? thanks Ez

Yeah i am obviously p2p otherwise i wouldn't be going for 85 slayer, or asking about summoning :lol: :P I've been using penguin points on agility (detest the skill >.< ugh, need it to 48 for awogie (sp?) part of rfd) So yeah i may use a few on summon.

My main summoning goal is to get it ranked.... however i would like to be able to get a spirit terror bird, or even a war tortoise. I currently have: 785 X gold charms. 587 X green charms. 214 X crimson charms, and 40 X blue charms In my bank. So i was wondering..... how high will all those charms get me? how much will it be? and is there any particular method i should do to minimize the cost? By the way: my summoning level is currently level 14 with 2174 total exp in it :lol: :oops:

I'd love to start to solo or duo some GWD bosses, but i don't know where to start. Are my stats good enough? or what would be advised? Also what boss would you reconmend i start on?

I agree with the above people. either burthorpe it or use points to cancel it. You'd waste so much time killing the dragons if you were to pick up their bones and their hides as you'd have to bank after roughly every 10ish dragons. Dragons though they give good exp are just too much hassle.

How quick will it be? Also will i make any money from it?

could i start doing pyramid plunder with my 32 thieving? I want a quick way to level it as i want to get desert treasure over and done with so all i have to focus on is getting the quest points for the final battle in rfd.

I hate, hate, hate, loathe, detest this skill....... it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring! but meh, i really want to complete rfd (done all but the monkey now : i'm well proud of me rune gloves) Only as you're all aware i'll need 48 agility and 70 cooking to do it. My dilemma.......I think cooking's alright and it wont take long to cook the 6K trout i need to for 70. However as i pointed out above, agility is the bane of my runescape existance. So anyadvice to level it very quickly (not wasting lamps) with minimal effort? please? (also what is the formula for penguin points into exp?)
