erm anywhere from 1 to about 6 or 7

Just wondering how long it will take me to get from 86-99 defence by slayer or by A-Z's. I really wana try and get the cape before i head off to Uni in september/october.

Tylerelyte and Returnofmic [hide=][/hide] 4. Sentry Wolf [hide=][/hide] 5. Magicmanmax [hide=][/hide] 6. Krampell [hide=][/hide] 7. Returnofmic and Gallade again [hide=][/hide] And finally the best out of the lot, our very own lil zezima/gertjaars ;p OLLYC3! :twisted: muhahahahah! [hide=][/hide]

So what Would i wear? I'd just powertrain at yaks or something to 70 range, and go aviansies after that. How long would you guess it will take to get to 70 range going to yaks? I really can't be bothered spending a hell of alot of time there. Also how many knives would you speculate it will take? BTW it's 446 yaks, or 223(?) experiments.... methinks

Ok so green dragons it is to get the pots for wf's and avis. Do you think that after i kill the 300 or so avis left that i'll make a profit praying?

You can be bitten by a snake or spider and just drink "antipoison" to be cured instead of needing the right antivennin

Its a "medieval" game that has cannons and flamethrowers (salamanders that you feed stuff to make them breath fire :twisted: ) and grenades (chinchompas). That the wildy was the stage for the god wars in the 3rd age however it's now confined to a tiny lil dungeon. Zombies that wear armour drop all sorts of runes and noted planks (maybe they're learning to build! :ohnoes: ) That you can carry 28 shark and eat them each in one bite, yet cannon carry any more of anything smaller (eg 29 cod) That cooking only takes a few seconds - so surely it cannot be properly cooked. That if you're hurt you'll "regenerate" HP. That if you eat you'll recover HP.

It seems like jagex has wrecked the RS economy with this new BH :| Everything with a medium/high price that people want have started to plummet - eg. furys.... i bought mine for 2.4m when it first started to crash.... it then started to rise a tiny lil bit and now it's plummeted to 1.9m(?) and it's same with items like obby stuff, zerker ring, d full helm etc.

You are quite off actually. :P What they said is since the graphics team updated monsters to have different looks and added new kinds of an allready existing monster, they now drop champion scrolls aswell. For example, only some skeletons dropped the skeleton scroll before. Now all kinds of skeletons drop the skeleton scroll. Aye but what exactly is the point in the champion scrolls as they are so rare to obtain? Until jagex changes the drop rate to be a bit more generous it's a silly thing. However as you pointed out Den all kinds of different monsters now drop them.... like fire giants will drop the giant scroll etc. and all skeletons drop the skeleton one.

It was a very entertaining quest and i enjoyed it immensley. However i doubt there will be a grandmaster quest based on this and if there is it certainly wont be on the scale of WGS. On the other hand what is certain is that there will be more quests along the story line as it links: Cold War, Wanted! and a dwarf quest(?) together, and we ended on a cliffhanger........ Anyhoo my main concern is..... IS LARRY ALRIGHT?! :o :ohnoes: :ohnoes:

As i said yesterday in a post; i have a 156 waterfiend task of duradel. I'll be heading back to aviansies today after using my penguins on range (i died at avis yesterday... it sorta went 21hp, 15hp, 5hp, 1hp, dead.... and i was like "Damn you ROL! damn you!") So basically i'm gona be trying to gain back some money for my avi trip to get 70 range. However my next prediciment is that i need 1.1m for karils and another 2.2m for the zammy spear. So my questions are: 1. Should i cancel my wf task? or are they worth while to do? 2. If i don't cancel will i make any profit off them? 3. Should i sell my zerker ring so i can afford to buy karils.... or will a black dhide top do? 4. What would be the qickest way to get the 1.1m without selling my zerker? I have over 200 points now thanks to duradel however i'd really prefer not to cancel my task...... but seeing as i can't make up my mind i'd like you people to give me opionions etc on it :)

Well everyone knows that the sea slugs live in the sea (I'm captain obvious today ;) ) and we've seen the "penguin submarine" about.... therefore it's logical the 2 sea dwelling things be interlinked.

And the story line is going to be interesting...... i wonder if the templars are included? seeing as it was sir tiffy who sent you after the mother mallium and it was the templars who imprisoned her before. I'm guessing the quest is out today then? if so it looks like my aviansie trip might have to wait a bit >.>

Would the titan be able to fight the jad with you? if so you still have to prayer switch but surely it'd make him a hell of alot easier? Or what about a bunnyip? everyone seems to use them for slayer because of their healing abilities then surely more people will be trying with the bunnyip so that they can hopefully get further?

melee some greens, keep the bones, sell the hides. If you want more of a challenge then kill the blacks in zanaris (emptiest spot) again keep bones sell hides etc.

Rangers have alot of stuff? Gtfo and give me Range-Black mask @@@@ Doubt they'll release magic capes when we have mage arena ;) And melee already has like 3 billion capes D: *Ahem* Kahrils, all the D'hides, Armadyal, all the X-bows and bows, void, chins, All the bolts and arrows, the fletching skill is heavily linked with range, archer helm and robin hood etc, ava's devices, Snakeskin and ranger boots. and i see your point, but to be honest mage is an under publicised skill - yes it's powerful but you have to be a very high level to get the best spells - like vengeance - and therefore everyone alchs for the levels.... so therefore a logical option = a mage item and seeing as we have armour, staffs etc (do we have shields?) it seems that it would be logical for us mages to get another item. And melee only has 4 capes ;) (not counting the god cloaks or the mage arena capes)

I think it could be a new cape. I mean we have the obby cape and the normal skill cape = same stats the skill cape (t) has the same stats as above however also has a prayer bonus And fire cape blows them all away. Therefore they have middle ground to cover and it could be a new cape........ Other than that it'll probably be something mage based (as the monster supposedly has a mage based attack) not range as rangers have: Rune Xbow, a whole load of bolts that kick [wagon] (eg ruby (e) or emerald(e) or broad), Armadyal, ranger boots, unholy book etc whereas what do mages have? Yes granted that mage has Mystic, or Infinity or Ahrims etc but to be honest who will want to get it other than alching? therefore there is no use for the armour as not many people use mage in cb situations (cept those pkers who use ancients to freeze then attack opponents)...... it takes a hell of alot of skill to use mage in cb situations..... and it's alot more expensive than range unless you alch to make some money back. But i digress.... other than that it could be a mist staff as people had said before; or it could drop some kind of new dragon weapon. But yeah i doubt very much it'll be something for range as rangers already have alot of good stuff, and therefore i think it's between a melee type cape to fill the void between Skill cape (t) and fire cape or a mage based item.

As you all know i have quite a love for slayer and have gotten back into it after a few weeks skilling. So everything was going ok i've done 8 tasks from duradel so far in 3 days. However! I've hit a brick wall :wall: WATERFIENDS. the problem is this: 1. How do i unlock wherever they are? 2. Do i have to have Karils(sp?) to fight them? 3. What is the best set up? 4. What is the best inventory? 5. how many times will i have to bank to go through 156? and finally 6. Will i profit off them? Ok so that's the first part of my questions over...... the second is this: On the advice of Drazhar44 and monkeychee1 I've decided to get my fail of a range level to 70 by killing aviansies. I've taken a look and the rough HP they have is from 70-80 (i put the 80HP into the calc) and therefore i'll need to kill roughly 506-578 of them to get 70 range (and i'll also get 81 HP - win :thumbsup: ) so i was wondering: 1. Is my set up good enough? Head: Sara Mitre Body: Red D'hide Legs: Monks Robes Boots: Snakeskin Cape: Ava's accumulator Bolt slot: 4K broad bolts Gloves: Rune (from rfd) Pendent: Fury Ring: Life Shield: Unholy book Weapon: Rune X-bow 2. If no; what is? 3. Is my inventory good enough? 1 super restore (entrance to gwd and use as prayer pot after) 1 emergency monkfish 1 home tele tab climbing boots (can be dropped) 200 nats fire staff 1 addy bar noted (placeholder) 1gp (placeholder) 1 ranging potion rest is prayer pots 4. if not, what is a good set up? 5. How much profit should i expect off them? and finally: 6. How long and how many trips do you think i'll have to make to get my 500+ kc?

After looking at the topic on here by Sirhemen i'm starting to have 2nd thoughts about getting them. However would you guys reconmend me getting them seeing as: 1. My slayer level is "low" 2. The best rfd gloves i have at the mo are the rune ones. 3. i have 117 tokens (from when i was f2p) Thanks I have now got a 42 black dragon task. And me being the kind of guy who doesn't want to wimp out on a tough task wants to kill the adults. I know of the area in zanaris wich would probably be better than the one nr catherby. So my question is this; should i: a) Range them as i know of the safe spot or B) melee them. If you guys could give me some tips on this it'd be great. Thanks again

"Wear these on any dragon slayer task to gain a 10% attack boost as well as 15% more slayer xp per kill. They will disintegrate after 1,000 dragons. Slayer level 70 is required. This effect stacks with that of the Black Mask (as well as the Slayer Helm)." This is what it says on the tip.it slayer guide under the equipment section. So therefore you should expect the attack boost. No idea why the 0's.... maybe just a bad time or something?
