Tbh first and second year my parents and I spent saying "if I get a 2:1 I'll be very happy :D". Then, ended my second year on a 67 and was like hmmm :ugeek: *does some calculations and gets Dan to check them* :ugeek: "I only need a 71.5 in all my modules this year to get a first" to which my parents started going "YOU'RE SO CLOSE, YOU BETTER GET A FIRST". So it wasn't really until the start of this year that the idea of me even TRYING for a First materialised :P But thanks man! And CJ :( YOU NUB.

I find myself at my wits end with this game now, it's just getting ridiculous the amount of times they do something good only to say or do something in patch notes all like "Yeah we're screwing you over... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE submitted it today... They were in nice shiny binding too which looked pretty cool. Getting a proper hardcover, gold embossed version for my parents to keep and a cheapy one (how I submitted it today) for me. Left hand copy is 2nd one that will be shelved in the library next year as per. Copy with coversheet is for the examiners. And a CD version of it, probably to put it through some software or something, Iunno. Also! Happy Saint Georges day to everyone! ^Obligatory dragon song!

He DG'd with me, I'm sure he'll be able to cope easily. It's just like having a team of 4 me's.

Urgh... Kinda spent a week procrastinating :unsure: <_< Basically... My dissertation needs only one more careful read through before I print it off for next week and binding it for submitting. BUT with this good news comes the bad news that my motivational spur I had two weeks before my last set of deadlines and the end of term has quietly run out... Leaving me with 3 weeks til my last deadlines for essays on Cistercian economy and whatever I choose to do on Chaucer. Guess the MASSIVE let off of pressure from the diss has taken that toll on my motivation. ALSO got an Edward I penny in the post today that I bought :) Got Henry II, King John and Henry III pennies in the post too... But on the other side of that I also have ~£150 worth of books to buy with my next loan (PLEASE COME FASTER) for next years M.A. Anyways... Spent most of the day trying to get motivated to do my Cistercian's essay... Yet, now I lose myself for hours researching Simon de Montfort and the support he had from churchmen during his reform movement... Good job brain! Though I certainly feel a M.A. dissertation coming on...

Or do as I've just decided now after talking to some people - Don't bother DGing. I'm seriously not up to scratch... I've got no form, I lag too much, I've got too many bad habits, I slow down floors too much trying to stop them, people [bleep] about slow floors times because of it, and according to people I can't even sui properly and I still take up too much time doing that. I don't know, I just... I can't stand DG anymore, it was the one last thing I enjoyed in the game and I just can't do it, try it, bother with it or the people anymore... it's too much effort, time, and hurt.
