"Karil's bombing the Middle East" ~Leik - #1 Bad Maxer - 2595/2595
Got this on BXPW when I was up north: Decided to go on a trip to Saradomin with Octarine as we wanted to spill Icyene blood for the ritual and because currently as it stands the past few BXPW's I've visited him up north and bossing on the last day of BXPW is the law. Anyways! Zil was nice enough to give us her sword... Maul was epic there.... However, as the screeny was taken I ended up on like 200 health due to Ovling with such low health then realising it xD Prayer Renewels were absolutely amazing there making our Super Prayers absolutely redundent. Killed a total of 32 Zils in 3 Ovls, also consider that my Yak died (stupid red texts making me not relise my Yak was dying) and so Octarine did a solo kill to let me pick up the tonne of brews and rests on the floor, and that some of the kills were absolute death. Also got this: Currently on 150 Laps... Might go back sometime and do the other 100, but I'll get 86 before I get the top and I kinda wana keep the levels to the nearest 5 or 0 (or 9 in over 92/95). Did this on release day and was really proud of myself: Omnomnom 2 levels from being able to get a CSB - I know I can get one at 70, but I really didn't want to have to rely on people to make me bloods etc for the box, so decided this is at least something in a DG I can do myself... 38k from 76, Frem Hard and Pengs this week will get me 76 :)

14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat
Let me ask you a question: Players have been maxed out at 138 for quite some time now. Would a level 138 from 3 years ago be able to defeat a level 138 in today's time? The reasonable response would be no as in the last three years players have had access to additional resources and equipment which do not effect the basic combat level (and archaic and unbalanced system at the best of times). Since the release of the Barrow Brothers, there have been NPC's much tougher than their level suggested due in part for non-level affecting "gear" that they count as wearing. Basically, the Mahjarrat are powerful not just in combat stats, but in equipment and skills that make them approach godhood like status. Whilst I appreciate your logic there I still agree with Obt. Primarily because I'm considering the fact that it is Silske who managed to (in part) summon Nex a level 1001 monster who isn't even at full power as far as we know; however, my own reason for them being level 250 is because they weaken over time and only once the ritual has happened are they returned to full strength. So Azzandra could well be much more powerful than we even know now he's back at full power, and will probably start channeling the power of Zaros more.

Glacors
0KG (tried with my other shard too, they stack, but stayed at 0KG; so might need more for weight) Examine: A tiny part of what was once an orb. Has the options: Combine Use Drop Examine Combine tells you: You need 100 shards to create an orb. Using a mortar and pestle on the shard it turns it into 8 Dust of armadyl - another stackable item. Examine: Useful for creating Armadyl runes. Options: Use Drop Examine 0KG weight so might need more. Armadyl Rune: Examine: It looks like a strange air rune. Options: Use Drop Examine Again 0KG

Glacors
It might be that all hits get a damage boost on them, since it says we get a damage boost down to residual energy from the Stone of Jas as a reward from the quest. Has anyone experienced similar with melee/range? Then again, I'd completely understand the logic in fire spells just getting a damage boost. It might well be; however, as proved by myself, Wicked and many others that mage perhaps gets bit more of a boost as even in melee gear (Wicked was in Bandos, I've been maging in V Helm, Torag body, V Skirt with -6 Mage attack bonus) you still hit 900+ with Fire Surge. I think that the boost from the residual Stone of Jas power allows people to do that, but there is no question that Mage is the most effective and efficient there.

Kril looks amazing... Does anyone know; however, whether or not the graphical update has affected the wall walking method on Zil? She seems... Smaller than before.

Tried a trip to Glacors: Start: End: I only killed 3 in 10 minutes using CMaul, killing unstable and sapping first yet chewed through a tonne of brews. Might try maging...- Glacors
Didn't know where to post this, so I thought I would put it here. Glacor: Level 475 monster. Examine of Glacor: A mysterious ice creature, infused with power from the Stone. Examine of Enduring Glacyte: An ice creature. It looks to be drawing its strength from the nearby glacor. Examine of Sapping Glacyte: An ice creature, ready to drain you of all hope. Examine of Unstable Glacyte: An ice creature. It looks highly unstable! I'm currently killing them and will update this with every kill. Rune Battleaxe (1 unnoted) Blue Charms (3) Blood Rune (47) Pure Essence (74 noted) Crimson Charms (3) I only managed 3 kills in 10 minutes using Bandos, Soul Wars Cape, Dragon Boots, Maul, Fury, Neit, Overloads, Turmoil, Melee Pray, and Brews and Restores. Also their Melee attack hits through melee pray; however, it seems significantly reduced. Magic hits continually high on these and is much more efficient. After testing mage I would not reccomend melee. I was overloaded to try and use Fire Surge; however, as I brewed to heal FS was out of my reach so I used the next set of Fire spell instead, still managing to get 2 kills within one dose of Overload. I was wearing Ahrims hood, top, bottom, infinity boots, blessed spirit shield, staff of light, arcane stream necklace and gloves. Raw Sharks (8 noted) Blue Charms (3) Blood Runes (47) Crimson Charms (3) Raw Sharks (10 noted) Blue Charms (3) 3692 Coins Crimson Charms (3) Magic Potion (3 dose, unnoted) Green Charms (3) Shards of Armadyl (1) - Examine: A tiny part of what was once an orb. Blue Charms (3) Blood Runes (53) Raw Shark (5 noted) Blue Charms (3) Blue Dragonhide (7 noted) Blue Charms (3) Blood Rune (35) Dragon Shield Left Half - Confirmed by Fou on Ritual of the Mahjarrat thread in General Discussion. They seem to have a high droprate of Crimson and Blue charms. Like posted below, they have a weakness to mage which is quite significant. They are not aggressive monsters, I just teleported into the cave and ran around and stood under one. So they only attack if you attack them. The boots dropped by them and the stats: Credit to Naive for these: 71 Pure Essence (noted) Crimson Charms (3) 10,543 Coins Crimson Charms (3) 11,294 Coins Crimson Charms (3) 25 Steam Runes Blue Charms (3) Rune Skirt (1 Unnoted) Crimson Charms (3) Raw Shark (8 noted) Green Charms (3) Steam Runes (34) Green CHarms (3) Rune Skirt (1 unnoted) Green Charms (3) Raw Shark (10 noted) Crimson Charms (3) Pure Essence (96 noted) Crimson Charms (3) Blue Dragonhide (9 noted) Green Charms (3) Pure Essence Rune Longsword (1 unnoted) Crimson Charms (3) Pure Essence (85 noted) Air Runes (unknown number) Blue Charms (3) Rune Ore (2 noted) Green Charms (3) Unfinished Adamant Bolts (41) Blue Charms (3) Water Talismen (5 noted) Blue Charm (3) Steam Rune (32) Crimson Charm (3) Pure Essence (66 noted) Crimson Charms (3) Blood Rune (32) Crimson Charm (3) Rune Plateskirt (1 unnoted) Blue Charms (3) Nature Runes (76) Blue Charms (3) Blood Rune (37) Crimson Charm (3) I've decided to do more trips today so will again be updating this post with all my drops etc: Death Rune (43) Gold Charm (3) Tooth Half of Key (1) Crimson Charm (3) Pure Essence (89 noted) Crimson Charm (3) Death Rune (40) Crimson Charm (3) Steam Rune (33) Green Charm (3) Shards of Armadly (1) Crimson Charms (3) Rune Plateskirt (1 unnoted) Blue Charms (3) 10,778 Coins Blue Charms (3) Grimy Irit (4 noted) Blue Charms (3) Effigies - confirmed by Octarine and some other users on Ritual thread in General Discussion.- 14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat

I'm getting so annoyed right now >.> [hide] I'm at the part where you find the Stone of Jas, touch it and get the cut scene, but as soon as that cool robed guy touches that Icyene woman and teleports her away my client breaks and sends me to the page saying: [/hide] Error_game_crash - A problem has occurred while running the game. I'm sat in Fally Castle with the rest of Crux Equal... After discussion with my fellow Mahjarrat Drazzandra and Danthrakos it's perhaps likely to start in 1 of 4 places: Akrise in Fally Castle - Dialogue talks about he'll call on you for help when he knows more about Lucien and what's going on. Sir Tiffy in Fally Gardens - Possibility obviously. Azzandra at Digsite - This is what I actually assumed... He's a Mahjarrat and I'd assume that though Crux Equal and the Temple Knights are brilliant they perhaps wouldn't know all the exactly precise pieces of info like where the ritual is etc. Ali the Wise - Same idea as above.- Future Update Discussions
