  1. Decided to go on a trip to Saradomin with Octarine as we wanted to spill Icyene blood for the ritual and because currently as it stands the past few BXPW's I've visited him up north and bossing on the last day of BXPW is the law. Anyways! Zil was nice enough to give us her sword... Maul was epic there.... However, as the screeny was taken I ended up on like 200 health due to Ovling with such low health then realising it xD Oh and for anyone else wanting reference - Prayer Renewels were absolutely amazing there making our Super Prayers absolutely redundent. EDIT: Killed a total of 32 Zils in 3 Ovls, also consider that my Yak died (stupid red texts making me not relise my Yak was dying) and so Octarine did a solo kill to let me pick up the tonne of brews and rests on the floor, and that some of the kills were absolute death.
  2. 200M in all!!! Anyways I managed to get 82-85 Agility xD So I'm happy enough, planning for the next one being in March time... Hoping to do 1.5k overloads and get 99 Herblore. But still, really happy with my Agil :)
  3. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH@@@@@@@@@@@@@' I shall certainly try to be there for you; however, I am currently visiting Octarine in York, so it all depends whether or not I have access to his/his brothers laptops like I currently do :( If I miss it, I'll be gutted, but absolute amazing grats man! You so deserve that Completionist Cape :) <3: <3:

WTF YOU'RE BOTH MAHJARRAT?! ;) You finally discovered our secret Gwyn :o Better? :D Drazzandra is back with a vengeance D: Anyway its BXPW TIME! This ritual is gona be friggin awesome! ;D
  5. I like getting 1701 exp at the end of every gnome adv lap... It's nice... Anyways... Back later, funeral to go to :/
  6. WTF YOU'RE BOTH MAHJARRAT?! ;) You finally discovered our secret Gwyn :o Better? :D Drazzandra is back with a vengeance D: Anyway its BXPW TIME! So I guess it's only me left to head north then for our ritual ;) I shall be making my way up there tomorrow, be assured! (BTW DAN, YOU'RE A HERO AND I LOVE YOU <3: <3:)

  9. WTF YOU'RE BOTH MAHJARRAT?! ;) You finally discovered our secret Gwyn :o
  10. Seeing as I am heading up north this week for the ritual I do hope that it is, and that our brothers do not delay us ;)
  11. Ahhh fair enough, and aye FM is uesless until 92 for adze. Erm not too sure on prices, I'm doing Agility :P And use this to find the best gp/exp in items: Grimy's Herblore Spreadsheet Look in the gp/xp column and try and see what you can find is good exp for your level and try and get some stuff?
  12. 12AM BST is GMT+1. London's currently in BST, so their time isn't in synch with GMT. So two things could have happened: like most people in the UK they just assumed the time was still GMT and they really mean 12am BST and not GMT; or they could sincerely mean GMT in which case it's 7am est. Now you'll have to forgive me if my timezones are kind of rusty but I'm pretty sure the first explanation is what happened. Blog says GMT, but I think they meant BST, so we're looking at 8am EST not 7AM. And if that's the case then thats a pretty big oversight haha! Yeahs Jagex wrote that blog back on 24th Feb if you look at the title hahaha! So they forgot to edit it... Update thingy that came out saying about the BXPW about a week before it (on the 2nd Sept) says: "The next Bonus XP Weekend will begin at 12:00 BST (midday) on the 9th of September 2011 and will end at 12:00 BST (midday) on the 12th of September 2011." So just assume it is BST and Jagex didn't bother proof reading their own dev blog for such a silly error as saying BST is GMT. At any rate - 30 mins to go (11:30am here in the good old UK).
  13. Try and get some herb supplies? Try and get some pure ess for RC? There's loads you could do really... Or buy in more magic logs and do a load of fletch or FM? And it's 35 mins actually, not an hour :3
  14. "Can I use my clay items, Penance horn, brawling gloves, etc, to add to my bonus XP? These items will not work during the weekend as the effects of the Bonus XP Weekend will override any other items or areas that enhance XP rates. The item will not degrade when used during the bonus XP weekend. This includes, but is not limited to, the clan ring, lumberjack clothes, clay items, Penance horns, brawling gloves, flame gloves/ring of fire, Fishing/Runecrafting/dragon slayer gloves and POH altars." 15. C'mon, what esle do you really think will happen before they release what they called the bigest quest they've ever made? Fact is that Jagex Logic dictates that we players have basically been given two good updates in one week - therefore they have even more entitlement to spend a week off then come back with RotM... Or at least that's what I think they'll do... We have 3 weeks left (inc the Tuesday coming up assuming a Tuesday update as per) and they've already used two of the updates listed on the BTS... As far as I reckon we'll defo get a no update week.
  16. Hour to go and I'm all set up and ready with my tree run teles poised and Ezk sat next to my Varrock Magic Tree.... Then after the tree run gota go to a funeral, but I'll be back after for a crap tonne of Agil training... Think I was 60k or something from 83 anyways, so that'll be a quick level :)
  17. Hehe! Sorry for actually neglecting this thing a fair bit! The past 2 weeks have been manic! Specially with my laptop having to be sent off to the Curry's "knowhow" guys to be fixed (NO MORE LAG@@@@@@@@@@@) so that was me a week without it, then trying to force myself to get my dissertation finished before uni (1 chapter to knock out before back to uni, then intro and conclusion), my Aunty Ros dying (R.I.P.), and trying to sort things for going up north this weekend to visit Octarine again! So yeahs... Sorry to have neglected here! Anyways! Here's stuff from the past few weeks that I might have missed for you guys: Quests: Just Blood Runs Deep from a Quest Cape now.... 70 Hunt happened after Branches of Darkmeyer: So did 71 RC: Yays for Rocking Out getting me this: RotM Ready... Yet it spurred me on to do more Agil... So aiming for 85/90 over the course of the next few days/weeks depending how I feel. Got a few other levels too: ^ Happy mostly because of Gorg ore for when I get back to DGing after a few more levels etc. BOW TIES ARE COOL! <3:
  18. Got these yesterday: Also on 24something laps so I'll get my agile legs in a mo, and I'm hoping to hit 82/get near 83 agil before tomorrow so BXPW can focus on getting nearer 85, though the way I'm liking this I might stick all the way to 90...
  19. Interesting day... Did some good diss work at the archives, booked my train tickets to be visiting Dan (Octarine) this weekend coming, oh and got this: 189K til I leave Ape Atoll so ~4 and a half, 4 and three quater hours of Agil tomorrow to get 80 so I can be 80+ for BXPW (aparrently Gnome Adv is epic), attempt to get the Agile Top, and hopefully hit 85 Agil on BXPW.
  20. This has been a massive topic causing arguments amongst my friends and I and so I decided I'd ask here is anyone can explain why my Hunter exp/hr is so friggin bad. Whilst doing Red Salamanders for the past 10 levels I've gained between 41 and 38k exp per hour, with the past 5 hours yielding 35k/hr or lower and when I hit 70 a few days back and a friend showed me 2 aparrently good spots for me to Hunt common jadinkos, which I was assured was a much better exp/hour, only to find it yeilding a silly 30k exp per hour... Compared to this, whenever I've given up with Hunter because of the unbareably slow exp/hr people from HYT FC, EoE CC, or just my friends who come into my FC cannot explain it and continually tell me "oh when I was your level I was getting 70k/hr" or "oh you're doing it wrong" but I do have to question - how am I doing it wrong? Red Sallies I have endevoured to use the spot that is just across from the altar and trap door with the three traps closest together and used this for the past 5 odd hours of Hunter. I have also tried using all 4 traps; however, I got worse exp/hr from that. I followed advice to try Larupia camo and obviously used a bear. I use the exact same tactics that everyone tells me to use, yet my success and exp/hr is drastically below what I aparrently should be getting and thus I get extremely annoyed with the skill and rage quit it, annoying the people who have tried to help in the process. With the Common Jads Octarine showed me two spots which are meant to be really good, yet I only got 30k exp/hr there, and I tried again for an hour using Larupia camo in the hope that would help me; however, I only managed a paltry 28k exp in that hour. Also Octarine taught me the tactic of stepping under the trap, picking it up and immediately clicking to set down another ASAP, so I have been doing that too to try and get a better exp rate. I have even watched videos of Hunter guides and read everything in the Tip.It Herblore Habitat and Hunter guide pages on the main page and in the AoW trying to understand some of the tactics and impliment them, still getting nowhere. So I refuse point blank to accept that I am doing it wrong like most people, once they cannot feasibly explain why it is such bad exp/hr compared to what they get, put my failing hunter exp/hr down to. So please please please can someone explain to me what the hell is up with Hunter? This is really really annoying me to the point where I'm having massive arguments with my friends over the usefulness of juju's, and I'm getting so disenchanted with what is becoming my lowest skill at 70 whilst everything races away at much higher exp rates (c'mon, even RC and Agility are faster than my Hunter exp/hr and I only penguin RC and get 42k exp/hr from Agility!). I'm just at such a loss with a skill that I was promised would become much better and quicker and worthwhile once I hit that magic 70, which, when I tried it, turned out to be a regression of exp/hr and ultimately not worth the time and effort to bother even trying to train it - because quite frankly getting 30k/hr for 446k exp to just get to ingenious jadinkos which are "a worse exp/hr than commons" Octarine told me is looking less and less worth even bothering for.
  21. Isnt 91 farm for upd8 2mor (to farm those new herbs) Or garden pie for +3 bonus / stranger plant for +4. That also means you can now assist 95 farm effigies, congrats :) Unspam: Nah I didn't do it for the update, I did it for being able to assist effigies :D It's always nice to get a 91 skill to do effigies. And grats on the prayer Gradeskip.
  22. Blurb says we get allies (again) Rocking out I'd say pirate captains help us. Fairy tale 3 I'd say fairy queen sends help etc. Opps, i skipped over that part :L I suppose that's the more logical idea! Though Rocking out was the quest that revealed a good lot about Rabid Jack, was it not? Though I suppose it is the quest were we make most of the pirate allies too, including that weird guy who gave us the Ex-Parrot :P Its when we got the pirates captains confidence and its an Ex-Ex-Parrot fool! What exactly would we gain from an alliance with the pirates though eh? I guess in part IF there was something with the pirates and... *looks around* Rabid Jack was involved, then alright, it would perhaps tie up the loose end that Bill Teach might someday be turned into Blackbeard in game (the real Blackbeard was really called William Teach) and we need to get rid of Rabid Jack for that... However, the only things against Majarrat we'd gain would be rum and cannons... So are we gona take crates of rum to the ritual area, have a wild party and get them all drunk, and then let the pirates fire on them? I know this is Jagex, but even I wouldn't think they'd do that. What Octarine spotted though was there were a few pictures of Mos le'Harmless on the Dev Blog for RotM, and also there are loads of strange rocks about the place (you use your ex-parrot on one to bring it back to life or something I've heard) that have magical ressurectional abilities... So I'd say it's more in line with that. And I agree with the above poster... I find that kinda odd that they don't have NR there too... Just like it's Rocking Out instead of A Clockwork Syringe (thus further disproving the theory of Rabid Jack and the Pirate Captains)... The pirates are suggested to be a formidable fighting force when necessary, just that the modern world has pushed them to the fringes. Plus the ritual site is quite near the sea and pirates have lots of ships, which could give covering fire with cannons in the big battle. Personally I think its perfectly logical that it has nothing to do with Rabid Jack, it's got to be something Rocking Out gives us in terms of abilities and allies. The only the things we get are Rabid Jack lore expanded, useless to mahjaratt fight, and the trust of all the pirate captains, which can be useful in raising an army to fight. Need for Mos Le'Harmless may apply but it can't be the reason for Rocking Out, we only need Cabin Fever for that; kinda like Fairy quests sure we need to get to Kethsi via fairy rings, but that doesn't justify fairy tale 3, all that justifies that is the Queen being indebted to us and again our need for allies. Alos the Dev blog having "alot" of pictures of it is wrong; dev blog has 3 pictures. 1 is mos le'harmless (presumably since jungle horrors are present, but no landmark features to be 100% certain), 1 is fally park, talking to tiffy cashien at a guess by location, 3rd is a "new area" that appears to be a dungeon. I was sure that the ritual stone/site is actually right by Zemourgles(sp?) fortress which isn't really by the sea so that kinda discounts that theory of covering fire... (see Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien - one of the most recent posts has the co-ordinate location). And yes the fairy ring does justify Fairy 3 - fairy 3 teaches/shows/allows you to use multiple teles - eg. DIR, tele back, AKS, oh you're in Kethsi. I'm positive someone without Fairy 3 wouldn't be able to do that...
  23. ^ This. My play time come September 24th will go down as is only natural when I go back to uni, but that's about the extent of my "quitting" as it were. Other than that, I still find the game mostly fun and it kills pointless hours of my life that I don't seem to need, so hooray for that!
  24. Lul go Joe! xD That's some pro TDing! You'll put Wicked to shame! :P Anyways interesting day today: Well... Got this yesterday... So I'm RotM and BXPW ready for trying to get 80 Agil! Then today was a good day:
