Like the above posters, take a break. If you insist on playing, try doing something unique, or very challenging. Try different setups at bosses, or try to kill so many different high level monsters on one inventory of food or whatever. Be creative

Ok, im looking to get a fire cape, but all the guides I look through have varying setups and inventories, and they are pretty much all out of my price range. I just need a set up and Inventory that will most likely last me throughout and that costs under 5m. The only barrows items i own right now is a verac brassard if that helps, and I have enough p pots for an entire inventory, so really the inventory shouldnt factor into the 5m. Thanks

Yes, it is worth it. If you spend time maging at barrows, or just safespotting with mage or range, it is well worth it. I use it alot on slayer when I range tasks too.

You wont be able to tank them with b2p, but you could pray tank them. I believe slaytanic has a guide to it, otherwise just look through the AoW for a guide.

Title pretty much says it...is uaing ancients at soul wars a viable way to train? I like the game and all and it seems ancient people seem to do alot of damage.

...That's like, what? 300k for 43 with big bones? I don't have that kind of money to put to prayer at the moment. you could always train your stats on monsters that drop bones? or something that drops profitable stuff to pay for the bones?

I just finished two entire tasks with tjust initiate armor and my whip. with 4 prayer pots(4) i usually filled my inventory before i ran out of pray points, and I easlily made 200k+ each task. Even though herb prices have shot up, thus bumping pray pots up, that means all herb prices have shot up and its still just a profitable as it used to be.

Alright, one more question. What exactly do they do lol? Dont they give double slayer xp or somehting?

As i am almost 70 slayer, I was wondering if getting the dragon slayer gloves from Fog would be good to get? I am currently using addy RFD gloves.

Mining, woodcutting, fishing, any combat stat besides maybe magic. Slayer, runecrafting, pretty much every skill except construction can profit on the way to 99 if done correctly.

If you mean onyx bolt tips, then yes, they have always dropped them. If you mean uncut onyx, well, that would be new and good news as it would drop fury prices alot, though i doubt jagex would add that to their drop list

Agreed. It's probably not a good idea to buy or sell a fury for atleast a couple of weeks, until the hype dies down a little bit. Lol, its up to you if you will sell the fury or not. Personally I just buy and sell equipment as needed, without worrying about prices. Sure, you will lose some money, but unless you are dealing with 20m+ items, you should be fine. Just my opinion though.

Well I cant use a tort, but I can use a t bird. So with initiate I could make my money back from herb drops? Oh, definitely. On my last spectre task of 233, I made just under 900k. You'll make your money back and more :] Now im actually looking forword to this task. One last question though. What herbs should i be picking up?

I suggest slayer. And if I were you I would sell the fury, and buy a whip. A whip is mush better than a fury, and a glory works just fine until you can afford the fury again.

Well i would really like to do the task in one go, but with close to 200 i doubt that will happen. So, would full black d hide be good enough to tank them? Or should i just get my initiate and pray tank them with house tabs?

I got a task of specters, and im too cheap to buy a cannon. Whats the best set up to melee them? A guide might be nice too. Thanks

It wouldn't totally kill them, but it would cut into them, and it would definitely slow you down as well because of the extra loading time. So yeah, a real glory is definitely superior. I recommend stocking up on some extra glories so that you don't run out of charges as quickly, then selling uncharged and buying charged when you run out of charges. You should use up about 20 charges per hour if you're not using a beast of burden. Although you really should do Heroes Quest. I know i need to do Heros, but i never seem to get around to it. As to tabs slowing me down, how exactly would they slow me down? I have my houses set up for funcinality, and my glory is right off the enterence, so I just dont see it really slowing me down that much.

Thats the fastest way? Im not a big fan of anything that uses alot of glories as i have yet to do heros quest. But i suppose using a house tele tab would just cut my profits? or would that totally kill them?

I was recently talking to my retired friend who has 99 mage from charging air orbs. I asked him how he did it but he wouldnt mention how he did it :wall: So i was wondering, Is the best way to run there and run back? Or run there and glory back? or is there another method i am not seeing at all?

I wasnt aware that they are slayer monsters lol. Is there a certain one you have to kill? or just a living rock creature? Because i find that with a ranging pot and broad bolts its quite easy to safespot the melee ones

You could also just buy one from another player.
