  1. whips not a big threat???? If they aren't how come almost all meleers use whips?? Those weps will balance out the whip, not introduce more overpowering since everyone uses different weps depending on their preferences and style of combat. And it is not another dragon claw. Look at the specials. They aren't even remotely overpowered, unlike the ddp++ or dragon claws that are used only for specials. Anyway, a special doesn't make a weapon, like the saying "clothes don't make the man" or something. A special is just an addon to a weapon, not the weapon itself.
  2. Me a hypocrite? you cant even spell it properly. You think you're so cool by flaming people and spamming threads. If you want to flame, go make your own thread and watch the mods locking it. On to the main issue. Lowering the difficulty of mining(but not too much) will not affect the earnings of a rune miner since the ease of getting ores=the price of it, so it will balance out. simple supply and demand even a 10 year old understands. Or are you guys scared of the competition of people training mining very fast just to get rune ore?? Mining is supposed to be similar to wc, only one is for providing supply of stuff to fletchers for rangers, and another is for providing supply of stuff for smithers for warriors.

  4. The abyssal whip, at present is too overpowered, so I thought it should be nerfed. But then it might be too drastic for the people who cant bear to lose their extremely overpowered weapon, so i decided that 2 new weapons that equal the abyssal whip in power but are different, one stab and one crush. COMPARISON Abyssal whip: attack: + 0 + 82 + 0 + 0 + 0 defence:+ 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 other:+ 82 + 0 Total:164 Saradomin sword: attack: + 0 + 82 + 60 + 0 + 0 defence:+ 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 Other:+ 82 + 2 Total:166 Zamorak Spear: attack: + 85 + 65 + 65 + 0 + 0 Defence:+ 13 + 13 + 12 + 0 + 13 +0 Other: +75 + 2 Total:213 but added to other more useless stuff like defence. Subtract off the defence and it becomes:162 Note:all these weps are speed 6 As you can see, even though the saradomin sword and zamorak spear are 2handed, the whip has the same bonuses (roughly) as them. What!?!?! God weapons as weak as some abyssal crap?!?!?!? Lets look at another powerful 2handed weapon-the dragon 2h sword: - 4 + 92 + 80 - 4 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 - 1 + 0 + 93 + 0 You might be saying...what the... how come a d2h is more powerful than a sara sword and zammy spear? Reason: d2h speed 3 sara sword/zammy spear speed:6 Speed is another important factor in rs. A speed difference of 2 can make a huge difference-the reason why even though a rune warhammer is more powerful than a rune scimitar, yet it is not used much. Another reason why the whip is overpowered. It can be used with a defender, making its stats: +20 +101 +18 -3 -2 +20 +19 +18 -3 -2 +8 +87 +0 Total:243 subract off defensive bonuses=183 9 accuracy more than a dragon 2h. 6 str less. 3 speed more. 19 accuracy more than a sara sword. 5 str more. same speed. 16 accuracy more than a zamorak spear. 12 str more. same speed. So it is clear the whip is overpowered. My suggestions to solve this: New maul, the (suggest name) maul which is 2handed but extremely powerful, however extremely slow and quite inaccurate. Req: 70 str 55 attack(to prevent str pures from overusing it) Stats: +0 +0 +78 -6 -0 +0 +0 +0 -6 +0 +122 +0 Total: 183 subtract off defensive stuff=194 Now i know a lot of people will say "122 str!! you must be mad!!!!" why not? its speed is 2 bars and it is quite inaccurate. The special is called: "Obliterate" a hit that will lower defence by 35% while doing 20% more damage. Uses 40% of spec bar. New dagger, the (suggest name) dagger which is onehanded and not very damaging but incredibly fast and quite accurate. Req: 75 attack Stats:+70 +53 -4 +0 +0 +0 +0 +0 +0 +0 +0 +0 +62 +0 Total:128 It is very fast-speed 8 bars/whatever I'll leave it up to jagex. The special is a powerful stab doing 125% damage but stuns for 5 seconds and poisons the opponent (NOTE:This weapon CANNOT be poisoned).
  5. Its overpowered-f2p wont need such an advanced spellbook-just give them some better spells and more defensive robes. And you said your spellbook was f2p-why has it to do with slayer??
  6. I have my own suggestion about it in the bugs and suggestions forum. Its called "new high lvl mage spellbook!" That is a lot of money for a starting out f2per. you mems are so damn rich they couldn't be bothered about such a "small" amount.

  8. your dislike is your opinion and other people might have their own ones so dont act like yours is the most important. And mining should be equal in exp rate with wc and fishing since they are on the same lvl of resource gathering skills. You liking it or not has nothing to do with equalizing mining.

  10. You still havent answered the point about miners only being able to mine one ore per rock whereas wcers and fishermen can get much more than one fish/log per spot/tree. A rock is quite big so why shouldn't there be more than a vein of ore in a rock??????
  11. Pray tell me why range training is faster when you have to keep picking up arrows and your max hit barely surpasses 5 before lvl 40(with iron arrows-which is cost effecient)?? Unless you are so rich that you can use addy arrows at lvl 30 ranged?? I thought the max hits over. It wont be really fair if mages hit 22s at lvl 59 mage so i decided on this. I think mage shouldn't be restricted to a certain max hit, but all the spells will become more powerful as your mage lvl increases. I mean would a 99 hit 2s with a bronze dagger or a normal bow? no. even with punch he can hit 10s. (even i can hit 8s with my feet)
  12. What kinda update was that? Two melee sets to one mage and one range set. Cost millions for 15 mins! Damn rare drop furthermore. I admit it is powerful but who will pay 2 million+ for 15 minutes of ownage?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
  13. interesting. all f2p needs is a few higher lvl spells??? what about armor???? hitting 20s while the opponent is obliterating you with 30s because of your weak armor??? A possible way of increasing the power and defence of mages will be to make all max damages increase by 2 per new spell, like air strike(max 2), water strike(max 4), etc. Air strike and co. remain the same. That will make the spells max damage be something like this: Air bolt (9) water bolt (10) earth bolt (12) fire bolt (14) Air blast (16) water blast (18) earth blast (20) fire blast (22) important:the waves will go up in power too for members to balance things out. f2p range amazing at low levels?!?!? It sucks like hell before you get green dhide. unless you mean like 60-70 which isnt low. its lowish mid. f2p range training from lvl 1-40 is one of the most boring and slow activities you can ever experience.(other than mining) After that, its still sort of boring but it gets better.
  14. The... the costs of rune mining? You mean the rune pickaxe? The banking? In order to effectively mine rune, you have to be able to bank as quickly as possible so that you don't miss the next ore and mess up your times. You bank while you wait for the next ore to spawn, so it's not a factor other than getting good at doing it quickly. It doesn't take THAT long to get to 85. It certainly doesn't take as long as 91 Runecrafting or getting the combat levels to effectively make max profit at green dragons. Interesting. How do you know how long it takes???? your sig shows you don't even have 85 mining. Dont talk crap without evidence. Im not saying rune mining is a slow way of earning money, but it takes too long and its quite boring.
  15. After factoring in the time required to get to 85 mining?? dont insist on looking at something from a perspective, like that rune mining earns millions/h so it is a very good way of earning money. think about the costs, running to the bank, etc.

  20. Jagex wouldn't be so stupid to update mage too much. Anyway, mage is so weak now that unless they gave it some kind of extremely overpowered spell or what it wouldn't become overpowered.     The ignore list has a max of 200 i think. Yeah RS is getting much more immature lol. Many low level noobs just ask for info/help/gp from me and after i gave them (sometimes) what they wanted they go off without even saying ty or thanks or tyvm or whatever representation of gratitude.
