For the guys saying just use Cold Blooded and Stingers, what if the class I'm using doesn't have it? I'm defenceless. Even if I did run CB on every class, it doesn't make you immune to killstreaks, you can still die from airstrikes just as easily and can still be seen by player controlled ones. You'll also probably die to them because theres a guy standing next to you without CB. The helicopter in CoD4 was annoying because it prioritised shooting the players with the highest scores, it was incredibly annoying to be beasting and then have to hide because it spent the whole minute shooting at you. Dogs in my opinion were as bad, if not worse, than the killstreaks in MW2. In MW2 you can take out a Chopper Gunner, its a single thing, and CB counters it to some extent, but in WaW dogs would keep rushing you for the whole minute and could take like three shots from a bolt action rifle to down. I actually wouldn't miss killstreaks much, it would be a great incentive for people not to camp. MW2 has a lot of big, I mean BIG, problems, but its still a a good laugh and a lot of fun. Also I'm not complaining when I'm the one circling the map in an AC-130, getting quad and triple kills whilst the 13 year olds on the other team stand there and do nothing.

Every map is a UMP map, because its the most versatile gun in the game. 3 hit at any range with any perks or attachments. Theres no real reason to use any of the other SMGs on any map really, assault rifles outclass them.

I thought it was pretty good actually, the only thing I don't like is that Bailout or Overgrown are coming up once every 3 maps. Definately better than the CoD4 map pack, it might have been cheaper but it only had 3 maps that could be used outside FFA, one of which was Creek which I disliked intensely. For the new pack I'd like to see Crossfire definately, maybe Ambush. A smaller map like Vacant would be good as well, MW2 needs some better SMG maps. TBH I'd rather the whole pack was CoD4 maps, at least you'd know you were getting good maps.

I'd like to see them return to the old 3-5-7 killstreaks with this one.

I was calling it the M21 because thats what it was called in CoD4, and its the same gun in MW2 with a different look. I really don't care what its called IRL. I see like one HBS a week if that, I hear its pretty rife in HC though. Wow you must be bad.

Not a big fan of the M21 on this game, I thought it was ok on cod4 though. Too many idiots using it with thermal and spamming it like crazy. Getting the mastery title was a chore, I think in the end I was using a blinged M21 w/ACOG and FMJ lmao. I don't like the WA2000 because its not OHK in the chest, only a 6 round clip and it takes a fair amount of time to reload, its obscenely ugly, and it takes a long time to switch weapons for some reason. Is it just me or has there been a big reduction in M/L/C tac knife idiots? Seeing less guys with OMA/DC as well I think, though its still annoying, and less thermal. Perhaps people have got bored of the cheap methods, I remember there was a period during CoD4 where you couldn't move for guys running 3xFrag and lobbing them everywhere, then people seemed to stop doing it.

Lol hundreds. I don't know why people don't use the launchers more, there really is no need for the other secondaries unless you're using a riot shield or something. The only other people I see are the annoying guys with Scavenger, DC and RPGs who just walk around with them out the whole time. I'm at 194 AT4 multikills, what are you on lol? Im not prestiging again so I can finally spend more time with the RPGs. I got the "Just getting started" or whatever accolade today for the first time lol, I joined a game, got a kill, then it ended straight away.

Actually even if the host ragequits or the game crashes or whatever the game records your stats from that game, even if it doesn't show the match summary properly.

You will need a capture card such as a Dazzle to record from a console. They vary in quality, to play and record in HD you will need a HD PVR or something similar, which is expensive. I would like to record some of the funny crap I see on MW2 but I don't want to have to play in SD, and I don't want to shell out for a HD PVR lol.

They were charging £10.99 for the pack on PS3, on 360 it was 1200 MSP which you can buy for £10. Maybe its not the same for US/AU $ but I would imagine it is.

The M14 is complete rape in CoD4. <3: i own cod4. i was a beast m40 sniper (not a [bleep]y quick scoper). G3 > FAL. M14 with ACOG in HxC = ultimate support sniper. good try though. i could probably beat you in cod4 too vale. honestly, if someone kills themselves in last stand, whoever put them there should get an assisted suicide instead of getting robbed a kill. Yeah modded G3 must have been beastly in cod4. So I transferred to using the tactical button layout and it seems to be helping a lot. Yeah I haven't played much S&D in MW2 but I used to hate it in CoD4 when people would screw around with the bomb at the end, especialy when it ended up going off anyway.

When you get 2/3 flags then camp them, thats how you win.

I have 12 so far. Yeah I never tried it before, I did it mainly to get the achievement. Saw a guy camping on an MG so I flew down and rammed him from behind, it was pretty easy actually. I remember one time some guy kept trying to kill me by landing the UAV on top of me, he tried like 3 times before it got shot down. Yeah this map I don't think is balanced well for Rush, the attackers can just fly around raping with the miniguns on the Blackhawks and theres not a lot you can really do about it, as a lot of the time they have an engineer that just switches to the passenger seat and repairs. Or at least I can't do anything yet as in their infinite wisdom DICE made the tracer gun unlock at level 17, the most I can do is spray on the mounted MGs which leaves me an open target for snipers.

Why I'm hoping the former IW members get MW rights. I imagine a lot of people where saying CoD would go down the pan after CoD 3 and they they pulled CoD4 out of the bag. Who knows CoD Black Ops might turn out to be really good, as well as the efforts of these new developers they're bringing in. Perhaps after all the resignations Activision will treat Treyarch and the other devs better. I really don't see how hard it is for them to make CoD Black Ops good. People pretty much agree on the good points of CoD4, WaW and MW2, just combine them and you have a beast of a game. Worked out that I do love this game, despite some of the BS. I'd say its really M/L/C that I hate the most, it just breaks the game when you have multiple people doing it. So if CoD:BO does have no Commando the biggest thing I hate about MW2 will be gone. So I'm resuming my plan for Fall: Intervention, Barrett, SCAR, AK-47, RPD, AUG, UMP and Vector. Currently at around 50 on each one. I'm also at 361/1000 for the Airdrop III challenge.

Played some CoD4 today, it was enjoyable but there are way too many kids running about with ACOG M40, SP and Steady Aim, not only is it a 1 hit in the toe at any range, but I'm getting killcams where kids are running up and trying to no-scope me three times in the killcam before pulling out their Deagle. Also grenades wow, forgot how messed up they were. Who would be up for resurrecting the old CoD4 thread? Or am I wrong in assuming most of you guys played CoD4? If you didn't then thats a shame. You would probably like it the most xxxgod as theres two semi-autos for you to [bleep] lol.
