At least its not as bad as MW2 IDK, obviously MW2 was handled very badly but at least they didn't try and sell any kind of early unlocks or headstarts online. Could be just maintenance on the EA servers, something like this happened a couple of weeks ago, I was playing BC2 and some friends in the party were playing FIFA 10 and we all kept getting disconnected as they both use EA servers.

Wow thats pretty messed up as the maps will be skipped 90% of the time. Well its worth it for the zombie maps anyway by all accounts.

I really doubt you'll get it cheaper than a 1:1 ratio of money spent/money on the card, seen as its valued in actual cash not points like XBL cards. Ebay would probably be the only place you'd get it for less than that.

I had something like 82% avoided, my friend has 96% avoided lmao. It is a really pointless feature as it just serves for mad kids to try and get back at you after you wrecked them.

XBL is better than PSN because of the cost. You get what you pay for.

I wouldn't say I've [bleep]ed about the game more than anyone else on this thread, just the Commando runners. I don't know if that pissed you off because you like to run that crap, but whatever. I've defended it on areas it should be defended, but the stuff like OMA DC tubes and M/L/C is just undefendable and broken. I really enjoyed this agme for like the first month, then people worked out OMA/DC and M/L/C and the games steadily declined since. One good thing I've learnt is to use the tactical button layout, its really helpful on all CoD games. I find I can still do fine with the knife even though its the B button and a little awkward to reach.

Wow thats really pathetic selling the kit unlock things. And they said the whole point of the co-op thing was to help people new to the game get into the squad system in multiplayer, but then they charge 800 points for it. I only buy DLC for a game when I'm sure I like it, and I'm sure that holds true for most people.

So my Xbox subscription renewal is coming up in a few weeks, and I've decided to make a new xbox account and put a years live on that rather than my old account. I want to start afresh on all my games, in terms of gamerscore and stats. I've come to the realisation that this game is broken. I played CoD4 again on my new account today for the first time in ages, and had so much more fun than on MW2. The [cabbage]s just got too much for me, and they're never going to fix any of it. If Black Ops has all the same issues as MW2 has I'm not going to play it, I'll just go back to CoD4 or something. I'm going to play a mixture of CoD4/WaW, with some MW2 if my friends want to play it, until BO. I was initially defensive of this game, but I've just been worn down by all the BS that goes on in it. There is still fun to be found in this game, its just CoD4 is so much better, not just in terms of balance (or the lack of any), but in terms of maps and guns. If anybody wants to add me for CoD4, WaW, MW2, hell even L4D and GoW then my new GT is "Dan Princeps". Oh yeah, can someone answer my question about the WaW map packs from a couple of pages ago, I wanted to know whether if I bought the packs the game would match me to people who had the map pack, so everyone wouldn't skip everytime they came up. It's just that the map pack playlist is literally empty.

I find it stupid that the PS3 servers completely crashed the day MW2 was released, rendering it unplayable online, and that the PS3 must wait an extra month+ longer for the map packs. The sad fact is that Activision obviously only care about money, and Microsoft pays them more, so CoD will always be a better experience on the 360.

That conquest thing sounds good, I stopped playing it because it was too short.

The PS3 controller is really bad for CoD, the sprinting really hurts your finger after a while. Not so much on other games where you don't have to press the analog sticks as much, but its still not as comfortable as the 360 controller, its just not got the weight and feels cheaply made.

This is just going to end up in flaming. I have both consoles, I find myself playing 360 more, because I mostly play CoD and its head and shoulders above PS3 in terms of online play. Theres nothing really wrong with PS3 anymore, 360 used to be a much better choice but the gaps a lot narrower now.

R2 was awful compared to the first. R3 has been pretty much confirmed, there have been posters and stuff up for it, and its the "turn" for Insomniac to make R3.

I'd have more Stinger kills but kids kept kill stealing Chopper Gunners and Pave Lows after I'd fired the first rocket. They really should have made it any kill streaks, because 90% of the stuff I've shot down to get the CB challenges are Harriers.

Because the onlines free on PS3 you probably get more casual guys who don't know what they're doing. Though when I started playing CoD4 on 360 rather than PS3 I found it easier for some reason. Maybe its because the controllers better idk. The connection was a lot better actually come to think of it. Anybody got some strategies for the first Zombie map on WaW? Because I bought it on 360 I know enough people who'll play to get a full team of 4, so we won't have that guy, who opens the stairs when you've got a good game going. I remember using 2 strategies, the first just opening the help door and having 2 guys on the door and 2 guys watching the windows, the other opening the staircase from the help room and constantly chucking grenades. I've been told its good to open both staircases and not the help room door, but I've never tried that before. I'd post this on the WaW thread, but its been dead since october. Flaming RayOxide was probably the only thing keeping it going.

Idiots like this are really starting to kill the fun in this game for me. Its OMA DC guys mainly, but the knifers get me mad the most. OMA DC I'd say is worse because theres always at least 1 and often 2 on the other team per game because theres pretty much no downside to doing it. I mean the knifing guys really just do it for fun, from what I've seen they go negative in terms of k/d most of the time because its not really effective, but OMA DC is just the easiest thing ever to get killstreaks with. I really like a lot of the features in MW2 like all the camos and titles and emblems and stuff, but its getting to a point now where I just can't contend with all the BS. Really thinking about going back to CoD4, maybe even WaW, because whilst Juggernaught/MP40 guys are a pain you have a fighting chance against them, whereas theres pretty much nothing you can do when a knifer rushes you or some guys OMA tubing the general direction of your team. I'm about level 20 on WaW (lol) and I've been killed by a noobtube once in my whole playtime. CoD4 I used t love, but the grenades are so [bleep]ing powerful its ridiculous. One thing MW2 and WaW did right was tone down the grenades. In positive news I got a game winning killcam today with a double AT4 kill, which looked pretty badass.

A good game. I quite liked playing Sonic on my GBA though.

It just didn't feel good when I was getting the Mastery title for it. I just don't like the WA2000 or M21 because its too easy for thermal scum to just spam them like crazy for kills.

Lol I imagine Nintendo's gonna get wrecked again this year, especially with that PS3 move/Natal crap. They'll just keep milking their cashcows with some half assed sequels. Speaking of which, Black Ops needs to prove to me its not one of these half assed sequels.

Also love how you put "PS3 gamers prepare" in the title, when its multiplatform and in all likelyhood be slightly better in terms of smoothness of graphics/exclusive features on 360 if anything. It's SEGA as well so i wouldn't really get your hopes up too much.

I don't think anybodyhas any respect for your K/D ratio, when you obviously just camp at the back with sniper rifles. Probably one of the strengths of this game vs CoD is that people don't seem as preoccupied with K/D, instead looking at SPM and W/L, raise them if anything because they're well below average. Though I suppose I can't talk because my W/L ratio is something like 0.80, I think I'm something like 10 games down, all of which I think occured when I was put on this terrible team which lost about 10 consecutive games. I stayed in though because I was having a good time. I seriously think it would be a good idea for the next big game like CoD or Battlefield not to track things like K/D, instead tracking stuff like score or captured flags, maybe W/L still or make it so that you're rewarded heavily for winning, like maybe you can only get XP and rank up if you actually win the match. Then people would be encourage not to camp and use the same guns all the time, and actually play the objective and try to win.

Trade in your Wii as well and get something decent.

It's literrally just Deep Impact from CoD4/WaW but as an attachment. I don't even know why they put that little green increase to the damage because all its done is confuse people.

It does match you if you have it. You don't get an option if you don't have it so it's a lot better in mw2. So it will only match me to people who have the pack, so everyone won't skip? Because if that doesn't happen then the maps are all but unplayable as the map pack playlist is completely dead.
