I thought that they made Solidus later after they made Solid/Liquid Snake so hes a clone of a clone. My feelings on MGS are mixed, I got the first 3 games cheap off Ebay to play before MGS4 came out because it was so hyped up, I enjoyed the storylines but it got too crazy really after MGS2, the controls are pretty terrible in the first 3 games, kind of forgiveable in MGS1 but when you have to press 3 buttons at once to shoot and have to use the left analog stick theres something wrong. Also the camera was terrible, if this MGS3 Subsistence has a camera that you can control it must be a ton better. MGS4 is the only game that I thought was enjoyable for the gameplay rather than just the characters. Agree with AoE2, I wouldn't put it 2nd but its definately near the top. Lol true, but ironically because its so old I'm having issues getting it to work on my Windows 7 laptop due to compatibility problems. Demons Souls I see came up again, it interests me but I can't justify getting it because I need to play through the games I've got now again. But Resident Evil 2 above Resident Evil 4?

If you like the Nintendo games that much then its going to be the best choice for you, really this console war [cabbage] just depends on your situation, if all your friends have a PS3 get a PS3 and vice versa for 360. Given all its negatives the Wii is not going to be the best choice for the majority of gamers, its clearly marketed at hardcore Nintendo fans and children, and I imagine (and would hope) most of us here fit into neither category.

If its the 60GB its probably [bleep]ed, those models are plagued by hardware problems. Try reformatting/replacing the HDD, if that doesn't work then you're probably gonna have to send it away to Sony if thats still possible.

From what I've seen of Trailer Park it looks like a haven for campers, though thats true of most MW2 maps.

Yeah I read the whole post moron, my point was that it wouldn't be necessary for them to add to your streak at all if the game was actually fair and balanced.

I noticed the Stimulus maps were annoyingly weighted in the playlist, so that I was getting Bailout and Overgrown every other map.

I'd say don't make them add at all if this game was fair and balanced, but theres so much [cabbage] that getting an 11 killstreak just with your gun is really hard.

It really doesn't matter, the only bad thing might be if your CG is flying near the Harrier and then some guy shoots the Harrier and gets a double "kill" but its pretty unlikely.

Probably is worth it depending on the stuff you can download, if they give you 5 games worth £40 each then its a pretty fair deal to pay £30 a year or whatever it is to use them.

Much better to play CoD4 in terms of skill being a factor. In WaW it is still too easy for guys to just hipfire SMGs like the MP40 from across the map, plus obviously tanks take pretty much no skill. Its still a lot better than MW2 but theres still BS on WaW.

Bought Red Dead Redemption and really enjoying it. I've never been a big GTA guy but this is really impresive.

No DoW2? Obviously its a lot different from the original DoW but its very good in its own way. And this hardcore gamer [cabbage] is just pretty stupid. I can see that you should have some knowledge of old games and such, but that doesn't mean you need to go through 20+ years of games and play all the ones that people have deemed to have classic status. Like when I was a kid I was never really interested in games, I had a few PC games that I played on my '98 but thats it, only from the age of maybe 15+ was I actually actively interested in games. So I looked at this list and recognised pretty much all of them even if I haven't played them. At the end of the day people play games for fun and have different tastes so will naturally disagree, so there shouldn't be some sort of homogenised list of classic games that everyone agrees upon and deems your "hardcore" status. The system came out years before they were even born, I think its understandable they didn't want to play a 20 year old game they know nothing about when you had a PS3 sitting right there. Can you really expect them to? Kids now are going to grow up with HD, online connectivity and probably motion control as granted on systems, so can you really expect them to enjoy 2d games from decades ago?

Yes, the more powerful console with better exclusives with free online that doesnt have microsoft backing it. But thats an argument for a different thread. Its not an argument for MW2 seen as the 360 version is clearly favoured by Activision/whats left of IW. Its not the one unbalanced map, try Terminal for instance, the one in the plane is stupid. The maps on MW2 are just bad and unbalanced for most game modes anyway.

Demolition is completely unbalanced. Look at Demolition on Estate for example, pretty much impossible to get the plant in the house unless you're against a terrible team or have some serious air support. Whoever gets to defend twice will win pretty much all of the time.

If you can get up on to the middle part of Rust you should do well, I remember playing 3rd person Team Tac on there and it being totally insane, we were getting scores like 100-30 and stuff on Domination. Oh god I started doing that, got to like 60 kills with it. It gives you so many unecessary deaths its ridiculous.

Nobody ever refers to it as a noobtube, a noobtube covers, you know, actual noobtubes, and thumpers seen as they work the same as tubes. Should fit your playstyle quite nicely then. Quad spray with the Mini Uzi on Vacant, triple grenade in the same game as well I think. I like the AK-74u more though that things a [bleep]ing beast.
