This business of having to skip map pack maps every time they come up on WaW is really starting to piss me off. What happens if you actually get the maps? Because everybody skips them 90% of the time, and the map pack playlists are literally empty, so do you get matched to people who actually have the maps or what?

If you can't recognise that M/L/C is a broken part of MW2 you are either in denial or a moron, its a combination of perks that lets you get an intant free kill if you get within 10 feet of someone. It ruins the flow of the game as you have to watch your back all the time, it truly is broken and I'm glad Treyarch said Black Ops is not going to include Commando. I doubt I could cope with another game with these child abusers on it.

I really doubt it, the magnum is a lot easier to use and doesn't have dodgy sights. The only thing the Deagle has is 1 more bullet in the clip. I've always liked the USP anyway, I used it on all my classes on CoD4 and its great on MW2 as well. All the other prestiges I used the SPAS on my sniper classes, I have about 1600 kills with it I think. I like the handguns because you can pull them out quicker, a ton of times I've died because I've been switching to my shotty. Especially on Highrise because of all the M/L/C morons who run through the tunnels under the map and get behind you.

I don't use a tac knife like an asshat so I didn't know that. In fact I've only recently started using the pistols since I stopped prestiging, they're actually good and probably the best thing to use on a sniper class or riot shield class (everything else should be AT4/RPG, maybe Javelin). They're all pretty good apart from the Deagle which seems terrible. Did anyone get the map pack? I didn't get it as I've cut down on playing recently to revise, any opinions so far? I saw they actually changed Vacant a bit by removing those bars in the back room, and Strike by putting a back way into the building by the OpFor spawn. I didn't notice anything really different on Crash and Overgrown apart from some buildings were different colours.

But this is more a mix of BC2 and MW2. Its going to be different. How do you know? We know next to nothing about the game so why form any kind of judgment about it yet?

Both of which are boosted. Recently I've been running the 1K gold Predator kills title and the Predator emblem, looks pretty nice. Neither one of them were boosted. I was a 7th prestige when I got the 10th Lobby. and If you can read, I dont use emblems or titles I didnt earn myself unless Im messing around. Dont false accuse people, Im just simply talking about my callsign like everyone else. We have it from you yourself that you boosted, so its hardly a false accusation. If anything it makes it worse that you were 7th prestige, I can understand people who know they won't commit the time to get a high prestige boosting, but just boosting 3 prestiges is pathetic. Any titles/emblems you have are null and void anyway due to boosting. Moving on from boosters, is it just me or are people on WaW just plain terrible? I had one game on Roundhouse where I got 3 double kills from destroying tanks because people got in them when they were on fire and about to blow up. And this was in MTDM not bootcamp lmao.

From a Tac Knife? Might as well just have a callsign saying "I suck at MW2". If not then fair enough, I don't really like any of the 500 kill ones though, its just an ugly grey box. The brown mastery ones look nice because they have some wings or something on them.

People said the same thing about IW and MW2.

Silencer decreases the range of the gun in the sense it starts to do less damage at a shorter range. Bullets keep going forever apart from shotguns. So I bought WaW for 360 today, had some extra points vouchers for my Game reward card. Gonna play later today, I don't think I'm going to get the MW2 pack this week, but I might buy that WaW map pack bundle in a couple of weeks, I hear the maps are good, especially the zombie ones and the third map pack.

I thought the game was a decent length, and then theres all those challenge modes which are good, not to mention the insane amount of riddles, cassettes and stuff to find.

Wasn't there a gltich as well where you could get into boot camp over level 8? Anyway these kids had no idea what they were doing, half the time I was just hipfiring my BAR they were so bad. Triple semtex on MW2 today as well lmao, and teamkilled an idiot with my care package.

Yeah I know it did on CoD4, but the copter on there pretty much never got 7 kills by itself, unlike dogs.

So I played a few games of WaW, I've got a K/D of something like 5.34 with 69 kills 13 deaths. This was in boot camp though lmao. I got dogs, died, then seemed to get artillery off the dogs, got dogs, died again, got artillery, got dogs. If you die then call in dogs does it add to your streak again? Cos it seemed to, and if it does then thats pretty messed up.

I find Salvage is the one MW2 map that really gets spawntubed a lot.

Yeah, I remember on the stimulus trailer there was some guy on Crash running M/L/C and a tac knife ffs. To be fair it was always way too easy to either camp that back room or pin a whole team down in it. Might play some WaW on my PS3 later, feel in the mood for that for some reason. Only thing is that I remember WaW being really laggy and crappy on PS3, and theres the BS of being kicked out of games for not having the map packs. And dogs. I'd be starting on level 1 again lmao, I created a new PSN account.

Lol I'm only playing on my level 45 FTP account right now, and I've only done DG solo, but I find it pretty fun. Today I had a really annoying moment though, the boss the game gave me was a level 84 "Raklash the Riftsplitter" or something like that, the guy 3 hit me everytime, meaning I had to get his health down running in after I'd died, leading to me getting 12 deaths and my XP cut by 60%. Not good. As for DG declining, anything on RS that needs a small team to work together is going to do badly, because its RS and most randomers you meet are going to be idiots. Relying on others I don't know on RS is not fun to me and its why I loathed every moment of BA to get the torso. If they keep putting in rewards and stuff for people to play for then It'll probably limp along. I know I'm just going to solo it If I start playing properly again. As for the "griefing" stuff mentioned above, it depends on whether the leader is being a [bleep] about it or not. In BA if someone was screaming "CALL N00B" at me I would delibaretely not call, same principle if I played DG with people. If Jagex made it so that griefing was the only fun in doing DG with a team then its their fault really. BTW, people are shortening Dungeoneering to DG right? I just assumed that, I've been out of the game for about a year and DG seemed logical.

I find hardcore takes all the fun and skill out of sniping as its a 1 hit kill anywhere.

MP40 was a lot worse, you could get 2 hit kills without stopping power, so everybody ran them with juggernaught, everybody used the round drum so they had 64 rounds to spray, and everybody just ran with steady aim and hipfired, which was too effective in WaW. I mean UMP is [bleep]ed up don't get me wrong, but its one broken thing among many so its not got the same impact as MP40+jugg. Just make it like a 5 hit kill at long range and it would be fine, a 3 hit kill a any range with a silencer and without stopping power is messed up. Yeah probably the best machine pistol because of the draw time and because with stopping power its a 1 hit across the map. I prefer the handguns or shotguns but I'm using it to get the last stand challenges done.

Exaclty, the only way to avoid all the crap is to completely change your playstyle, to something thats neither fun nor effective, and any suggestion that the game has counters to the BS fails because of this.

I don't want to have to waste my secondary with Stingers, they're no fun to use and can't get any kills. Half the time going to the open to try and shoot the killstreak down gives it another kill adding to the guy's streak. Another stupid thing btw, 90% of the time if I can get a 5 kill streak for my Predator I've got my AC-130/Chopper Gunner already. But then I suppose most of these streaks are from [bleep]ing Care Packages anyway, meaning the bad kids who can only get 4 or even 3 killstreaks can use AC-130s, Pave Lows, etc. Theres a ton of stuff in this game thats simply indefensible. The game as a whole though I feel has given a lot of joy to a lot of people, its still a lot of fun to play with friends, for exactly the reasons that mad stuff happens all the time like 7 in 1 Stealth Bomber kills. Its a great arcade shooter, if you want something serious don't buy MW2. The games obviously been handled incredibly badly by Activision, hopefully they can learn from the experience and Black Ops won't repeat MW2's mistakes. Not that it concerns me, but I heard Treyarch are using dedicated servers so that should please the PC crowd at least, so they've at least listened to the community on that point. Hopefully they won't ask for suggestions on Twitter like they did for MW2, they really listened to the wrong people, namely the hordes of 12 year olds who latched onto CoD4 and ruined it with their 3xFrag, Juggernaught and Martyrdom.
