In hindsight WaW was pretty good, just not as good as CoD4. The Wii version must have been apalling though. I bought the WaW map pack bundle a couple of months ago, the last zombie map is pretty awesome. Maybe on the [cabbage]ty Wii version, but WaW definately has the least tubing out of the 3. Probably because tubes were only available on semi autos/bolt actions that were unappealing to noobs. Its fine for the tubes to be there but you need to sacrifice something to use them, in MW2 they don't even take perk 1.

SP or Jugg was 100% necessary in MW2 because without it the balance of the red perks would have been ruined, with everyone using either Hardline or Cold Blooded. In MW2 they made the base weapon damage too high, people have confirmed that in Black Ops you actually have to land a good number of shots (maybe no 1 hit M16?). I'm just worried about what thats going to do to the snipers.

Yeah I know him from Live. Hes a perfect example of how MW2 is noob friendly, as its the only CoD that he has a K/D of higher than 1 in. Though to be fair its a lot better than his 0.56 in WaW.

I haven't bought it but I downloaded the multiplayer 360 demo of Transformers: War for Cybertron and its actually really good fun. I'd buy it but its full price everywhere.

There was a point in WaW/MW2 as you got the extra class slots and challenges, and I imagine that will be the same for Black Ops.

Well they do but its a 5 kill streak. No details yet so maybe its capped at 7 killstreak rewards or something. You know why I think the killstreaks aren't going to be that much of a problem in BO? They've said kills from killstreaks don't add to other killstreaks. This is most of the problem in MW2; 9 times out of 10 when I got a Predator I could then get a Harrier and then get a Chopper Gunner/AC-130. I'm just annoyed at the RC-Car because you just know that everybodys going to take that over a UAV, and the fact that the kills from killstreaks don't stack will encourage the noobs to have setups like RC-Car/whatever was 4th... SAMs?/Care Package.

I only really have a problem with the RC car. I can see it becoming very annoying as its only 3 kills, 2 with Hardline, and they made Hardline a more viable option by changing the perks around. That and Care Packages, but at least they bumped it up to a 5 kill streak. I heard you had to actually fly the Chopper Gunner?

That chart only shows the 360 MW2 pre orders.

I doubt it will beat MW2 in terms of sales and pre orders, seen as MW2 was multiplatform and probably even more anticipated.

Lego Island lol that game was awesome when I was a kid. GL getting it work on 7, I'm pretty sure I had it on a 95. Did you have Lego Loco? that game was great.

Is it not possible to get the warhorse without the limited edition? I saw there was some crazy stuff like bulls and zebras if you reach max level online. All I have right now is the diseased horse or something.

The boosting only really took off with MW2 due to titles/emblems. Sure people have been caging headshots since cod4, but they weren't gong into normal games and messing them up. They're kind of pathetic when it comes to actually punishing people, I remember when the Javelin glitch came out they only gave a 24 hour ban for it. Maybe in this they could deduct CoD points or something.

I remember on GoW2 last month it was 20x XP.

I'm definately interested now but MW2 looked awesome before launch and we all know how that turned out. Can't think why they've brought back tactical insertions though.

The 4GBs the successor to the Arcade model, which only had 256MB flash memory and before that had nothing. You might be ok with the 4GB though because theres no longer any need to download games to the hard drive. Who does lol

Does look quite promising. Kind of concerned how we saw loads of rocket launchers in the trailer, and thermal as well. I think maybe the problem with thermal in MW2 is that there was no downside to using it apart from making you crap at the game, if it takes perk one or replaces something really useful then its kind of ok that it stays. If anybody remembers, in WaW there were more than double the game modes from CoD4 and MW2, because IW seem to have this [cabbage] where the game modes have got to fit on the screen rather than putting a menu. So hopefully in Black Ops there will be a ton of new modes that can hopefully filter out some of the crap like maybe a no explosives/killstreaks mode. Did anybody notice lightweight is now perk 1?

WaW was actually fine bar tanks and the MP40. Its just CoD4 was better. WaW has zombies, MW2 doesn't really have any redeeming features.

To give Microsoft the benefit of the doubt this may be due to the natural increase of people on Xbox Live, and they need the extra money to support so many people. Halo Reach is coming out in 2 weeks time and thats obviously going to be a massive launch, and without proper support could backfire very badly with Xbox Live crashing or something. When MW2 came out Xbox Live managed to hold up to the pressure whilst the PSN crashed, and I think people won't mind paying a small amount extra to have a problem free experience. Its not like they've hiked it up without telling anybody as on the Xbox dashboard theres a big sign saying you can renew now and use the old price. As you say I don't think this is that big of a deal as long as they don't increase it every year, the 360s been out what 5 years and Live hasn't increased during that time I don't think, I imagine you posted this thread just to bait 360 owners anyway.
