If the online is as good as the campaign has been so far this could be the best CoD.

Pretty strange attachments, such as an ACOG magnum and underbarrel flamethrower. Just screwed around in zombies and splitscreen for a few hours. The intention is to wake up early tomorrow, finish campaign by lunch, then take the fight online to the 13 year olds. Used a golden MP5 for a bit in splitscreen, unsure what you have to do to get it online but hopefully its hard and gold is available on every gun.

I really don't understand the hate on quickscopers here. I've never done it myself and don't really care about it, but its never bothered me like the knifer kids or tubers. People talk about the whole aim assist thing or whatever, but honestly if they killed you with it they'd probably have killed you anyway with an ACR/M16/AK or whatever. Speaking of M16, on one of the videos it looked like the M16 worked differently, more like the BFBC2 version. @ those who have played it, do the guns have recoil/sway like they did in CoD4?

Yeah I saw that as well, also got a code to get some other games half price, might be using it to get my mate Red Dead Redemption for £19.99.

Decided to do my work now instead, and start a mammoth session at midnight. That way I have tomorrow completely free to play, and no risk of a stat reset which I've heard is likely. Gonna be something like start at 12, play till 4-5, sleep till 10 or so and then just straight playing till around 7 or so. With a couple of gaps for meals. This is assuming my halls internet connection can support CoD online, but I'm very confident it can. Add me on my new GT "The Legate" if you want to play.

No word on them resetting ranks or something at midnight though?

Just picked up my copy from the Halls reception. Dunno if the online servers will actually be up yet though.

Lol'ed. Not played any CoD online for more than a month, sensing a big marathon on tuesday.

Chopper did look a bit strong but the enemy team was really really bad. If you look he was among a clan on his team. That was an AK-74u he was using right? Used to love that gun on cod4.

My decision to drop my Latin module was in no way influenced by the fact it gave me tuesday completely off.

Hard to believe they can make the campaign last 10 hours, unless you were playing veteran, and they made veteran hard again like it was on cod4.

There are multiple zombie maps at the start?

Pre ordered via GAME. I don't even know whether I can use XBL in my halls I'm just getting it for the zombies.

Gonna try and avoid watching that kind of stuff this time. I'm pretty much in the dark over many aspects of Black Ops as I've hardly looked at all since I got to university, kind of prefer it that way seen as I knew all about MW2 from the streams and pirates before it came out. When was that dashboard update btw? The day before it launches?

It's actually quite easy to do when defending the lab on the package Yeah thats where I did it but it was a pain in the ass getting one to fly low enough to EMP.

Just getting into the Banshee in campaign was a [bleep].

They specifically said somewhere they were encouraging people to use theatre mode to find cheaters.

Crap. AoM was the last good one.

I heard it was true and thats partially why they've implemented the theatre mode so you can point out cheaters.

I've never had an issue with it because unless you're insanely good its less effective than using guns in a normal way. [cabbage] kids that cost you games because they try to do jumping 360s can be an annoyance though, but if they've removed SoH Pro and made it harder it should cut down on the number of kids trying and failing to look cool. Even though £45 is a lot to me as a student I think I will pre order this because it looks like they've really woken up and adressed the issues the games have had since CoD4. Even if the online turns out to be [cabbage] theres still zombies and splitscreen.

To me Dead Space sounds by far the best out of those 3 games.
