To me Dead Space sounds by far the best out of those 3 games.

Whenever there are hacks and glitches they always prioritise fixing the 360 first anyway. This new dashboard update should keep them out for a while as well. I might get BOps at launch now because of this dashboard update, as you can be pretty sure it'll be hack free at least until christmas.

Wager matches don't look particularly intense to me, what is it top 3 in FFA? I'm pretty sure I could get that 90% of the time, unless the skills of the kids in FFA increase massively.

I only had a problem with the kids doing it on CoD4 with M40 ACOG + Stopping Power because it was a 1 hit kill on any part of the body.

If you're going to pay $40 for Bioshock you've been done, its dirt cheap now.

So can you give me the gist of whether we learn anything new from this stuff? I really CBA to watch through it at 2 in the morning.

I've found the one saving grace of this game; Spec Ops. Its a ton of fun to play splitscreen with my new uni mates. Nazi zombies is still probably more fun though.

The save files take next to nothing its stuff like downloadable games, videos and demos that eat up memory.

I think its getting pretty stupid with all these delays. Though I wouldn't have bought it until it was cheap anyway, I'll just play Forza 3 instead.

Reach has a lot of longevity which is not the case here at all.

It's less the developers and more Activision's meddling. But I reckon this one will succeed because they've kept out, after the way they pissed off IW and made them jump ship to EA.

I read somewhere that the armour wasn't updating for the majority of people and that they were working to fix it.

I'd get Halo Reach if you want a 2nd FPS, I was skeptic about it but its actually really good. A prime example of value for money whilst this is the exact opposite.

Simply because multiplayer is where the meat is in these CoD style FPSs. Don't get me wrong, CoD4 singleplayer was amazing, I've completed it on veteran 3 times, CoD WaW's was solid, and even MW2's was passable. But its short as hell, you can run through all 3 in ~5 hours on normal, maybe add a couple for hardened and a fair amount more for veteran (apart from MW2). That is not value for money, unless you can get them cheap, which 9 times out of 10 means waiting about 6 months or so. MW2's spec ops doesn't have you coming back for a better score like WaW's zombie mode, which carried its ok multiplayer. Personally I've spent hundreds of hours on CoD multiplayer, I'd say I even got my dough's worth out of MW2 before I threw in the towel. So yeah I understand your argument but its completely misplaced when dealing with these kinds of games.

Troll? And IIRC there was a thread for it though its probably been pushed back several pages. To be fair, the singleplayer does look quite good. Not worth the price of admission, but good. But only because because its completely seperate from the multiplayer right down to the engine.

Unless they radically changed the game from the closed beta which I played then it is terrible. And I can't see them as having done that in the time window. Ironically paying more for the games is leading developers to treat the PC as an inferior platform. I'm not criticising PC gaming but it seems like your just angry that the success of console gaming has removed the hegemony the PC once enjoyed, and trying to bait console players because of that.

Frankly I couldn't stomach that crap for more than a few games. It wasn't just the fact that its a rushjob cobbled together from BFBC2, its more that the gameplay is just so bland. Yeah. Its just that, you know, practically every animation or sound effect is lifted straight from BFBC2. If its the best why do you have to come in and state it as if you have some kind of chip on your shoulder?

MoHs being pretty hyped by the media here in the UK, not to the same level as BOps but im sure plenty of people will buy it without realising that its turned out crap. A minister denounced it as being "un-British" and offensive because you can play as the Taliban. My main gripe with BFBC2 is the way the spawning is set up, because it allows one guy to get behind everyone and then allows another 3 people to spawn in on him. Also the game really screws you over when you start out as your at such a massive disadvantage.

Medal of Honor? Played the beta a few times before deleting it. Just so bland and buggy, and so much was just lifted directly from BFBC2 it was pathetic. I'd say that its much worse than MW2, because there is a ton of content in MW2, and the problems are down to bad decisions rather than a lack of effort. Putting out that kind of rushjob game then trying to charge the full £40/$60 is really low. Went to a night at my students union tonight and they had a 360 hooked up to a 60 inch TV to play Nazi zombies on, pretty awesome.

How hard is legendary compared to CoD on veteran? I doubt it can be harder than CoD4 on veteran. This is the first Halo I've played but I didn't really have any problems with Heroic difficulty; 90% of my deaths were coming from the 1 hit kill things like the Fuel guns and Wraiths, so there shouldn't be much of a difficulty spike. Probably my main complaint with the campaign is that the 1 hit kill things started feeling a little cheap after a while.

The image thing is going to be abused to hell, but its also going to be hilarious.
