Two days later and I'm official apart of the beta. Just got my second email. Going to go download it right now and play it till my roommates get back from a Taking Back Sunday concert. I'll let you guys know how it is.

I feel like everyone whose seen it has either hated it or loved it. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground with District-9. I personally didn't like it because for the most part a lot of what happens in the film doesn't seem logical and the ending was not fulfilling enough for me.

Its legit it came straight from Sony. I guess the email I got was saying I could register for the beta #-o .. And I should be receiving another email if I'm accepted and that they are letting people in the beta in waves. Kinda strange because I'm used to Beta's sending keys when your accepted not sending them to let you register (Sony :wall:). I'll Keep you all posted on the beta if I get in. I'm sure all of you have heard of MAG [wiki] for the PS3 the MMO shooter that can have up to 256 players... Well today when I got home I checked my email and found a BETA invite. Has anyone else got one? I found it extremely random because I don't ever remember signing up for one or even hearing about a beta.

You better as hell not be in high school. I can understand a meager rewards system for kids... but if you're in high school you might want to question your school's opinion of yours and your peers' maturity. [/hide] Yeah, I'll be a senior in high school this year. The cards are given out by a number of factors. For a platinum, you need a 3.5 or higher GPA, or a 30+ on the ACT, 97% attendence and be enrolled in atleast 1 AP course. For a gold, seniors get them automatically, other then that you need a 3.0 GPA, and 95% attendence. Red is what everyone else gets. My school has gotten really big on security in the last couple of years, so they have been trying to keep tabs on everyone who is and isn't a student. I don't mind the cards and it's just a lanyard. Since I've earned the highest so I don't have to worry about anything. Does your school require you to take the ACT? My junior year of college starts on monday and I'm having the hardest time finding one of my textbooks. Everything else I was able to get off Amazon cheap except for my french book I had to get from the book store for $160 :evil: (more then the total for the other 6 books I bought brand new off amazon). So hopefully my teacher will email me back soon telling me how I can find this one book that literally can't be found in the school's bookstore, the surrounding bookstores, or anywhere online.
