  1. Christ, this troll must be a pro. I'll take him leaving comments over deleting the map over and over again.
  2. This comment is still on the map, not sure whether the owner can delete it. I can't delete it, but I flagged it so hopefully someone at google removes it.
  3. Done. :) (this is turning into unintentional post count spam for me...) So this is why you wanted to become a contributor.. J/k A big thanks to all the contributors for taking the time to add others to the map!
  4. So everyone knows, I have gone ahead and changed the map so only contributors can edit the map. I felt this would be the best way for us to keep this project going safely without having to worry vandals. If you want to be added as a contributor just PM your email address and I'll add to you to the list. Or as Wongtong as offered, you can simply reply here or PM any contributor who has offered their services, and they will add you to the map. :)

    Longboarding

I road my longboard for the first time in probably a year and half the last week. Brought back some good memories but it was way to hot out to enjoy it as much.
  6. Adjusting your hand placement to can change up the muscles worked during a push up also for those looking for more variation, like putting your hands close together, usually done in a diamond shape will work your triceps.
  7. The only downside is making it invite only would make it less convenient for everyone but in the long run it would protect the map from random vandals. So yeah, if the majority want to go this route I'd set it up so I'd have everyone PM me their email address and for those who don't want to share their email can simply PM me or anyone that is known as a collaborator or leave a reply here and get them to place their marker with their message. It's up to you guys if we want to go this route or not and attempt to save the project.
  8. Not mistaken, people would be sending emails, to become contributors, which then I would disable the ability for anyone to freely edit the map? So far it's still the same person messing with the map. It's supposedly his friends email, according to the vandal, but as Y_Guy mentioned he looked it up and it doesn't link up with any user on these forums.
  9. This is pretty cool, not going to lie.
  10. No way to personally block certain email addresses.
  11. As far as I can tell the only way to limit control over who can edit the map would be to gather everyones email and send out each person a invite to be a contributor. One thing Google Map's does show me is the last person who's contributed to the map and gives their email address so as far as I can tell it's been the same person then entire time.
  12. The person doing it has a crazy obsession with Das, it's a bit creepy if you ask me.
  13. I hate to inform everyone, that some individual thought it would be fun to delete everyone's markers and leave inappropriate markers and drawings on the map in there place. I have since removed all those markers and as of right now, it looks to be no way to revert the map back to a previous date. If people want to try and remap the community, I say go for it, but completely understandable if you don't, it's up to you guys.
  14. Not going to lie, it'd be such a [bleep] to have to constantly updating your signature after every 10 sit-ups you do. I think I'll give this a go, but I'll do mine collectively after every hour. I think if Y_Guy got in on this, he'd probably stop spamming the boards all day. :P
  15. Happy birthday mate!

  16. I was looking through a box containing the collection of stickers I've acquired over the years and I still have a good amount of Ron Paul's Revolution stickers left.
  17. To keep things simple, I'm a registered democrat in the US.
  18. It looks like someone (hopefully by accident) through almost the entire markers in the UK/Europe a few elsewhere off their original spots. I've tried to place as many as a could close to or near their proper locations.

  20. I think it's only mortars and big things like that because I see small bundles of fireworks being sold at like grocery stores and whatnot. Every city in the Phoenix metropolitan area puts on their own show (which are permitted and regulated by "professionals") and since the Valley is almost entirely flat you can end up seeing a good 5 or more shows just by sitting on someone's roof.
  21. This will be my second 4th spent in Arizona. I'll probably spend it on another roof, have a few beers, and watch some fireworks go boom.
  22. If we went want to go by the city we currently live the population of Tempe, AZ is 161,719 and the population of the Phoenix metropolitan area is 4,192,887. Which ever you want to classify me as. :P
  23. So far I got you beat, my hometown of Granite Falls, WA has a population of 3,364.
  24. Couple hours, England is going to be filled with blue.
  25. It appears that if you are signed in to your gmail/google account it links back to your account. edit: If you click on someone's name it seems to take you to a special "Google Maps Profile" but does not compromise any of your personal information.
