  1. Speaking of 1000 mile boots, I [bleep]ed mine up pretty bad at the foam party at some random club. Basically added a few years of wear and tear in just that one night. The soles are all roughed up and lost a lot of that nice brown color.

That was funny. Went for a spontaneous pub crawl last night with my roommate which originally was going to be like a drink at one bar.. Oh how plans change.
  3. Went and saw Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris Thursday night and saw Super 8 last night. Both great movies.

Probably just spent the past hour and a half browsing gamespot. I'm excited for the Uncharted sequel and the new Elder Scroll. The new Zelda looks a bit weird.. Overall looks like it'll be a good year for gaming.

I'm going to see him live on the 28th with Wiz Khalifa.

Anyone know of a good site that has summed up all of this years E3 information? Ps. Lets end this back and forth bickering as I see it going nowhere good.
  7. I'm nearing 8 years. Damn.
  8. My vote goes to Old.
  9. I like topics that are serious but not overly serious, ones you can engage in a conversation yet you don't have to worry about sparking a heavy debate that'll lead to pages and pages of trying to outdo your opposition, but rarely goes anywhere because no one is ever willing to compromise. Fun topics are fun but get boring to me and I loss interest quick.
  10. Is there an actual argument that waterboarding is not considered torture?
  11. Thought I'd start it off. If you don't know where you can upload your picture, always remember you can upload your pictures in our own Gallery.
  12. If you're fine with messenger bags I'd definitely try this. I've had it for a year and a half now and it's amazing :D Actually, wait, I think you were the one that suggested it to me in the first place XD Yeah that was probably me  . I have their Cornell bag, great bag, a little small for what I currently need it for but I'll make it work if I can't find a substitution. Thanks Lent, I've been eyeing one of their bags for a little bit, not sure if it'll fit all my needs yet, but it's in the runnings.
  13. Went and saw Thor last night. Alright film, not the strongest, would recommend waiting till it comes out on DVD to see it unless your a fan of comic book films.
  14. Do you still pixel much? I remember when you were first starting years ago.

I love looking at architecture blogs and such. I'm a fan of like a classic contemporary design, like this http://design-milk.com/destination-design-alemanys-5/
  16. Anyone have any bags/backpacks they'd recommend? I've notice the one I've been using for the past several years is starting to tear and I'm trying to find one before I leave on this trip on mine next week. Looking for something that would be excellent for a daypack in the city. Something I could throw my camera in, a bike lock, and room to fit like a jacket or something.
  17. I just went through and deleted a good half page or so of spam like posts. If you can't add to the discussion at hand please don't post and ruin this topic for everyone else. Consider this a warning to those of you trying to derail this thread. ~Stevepole
  18. Bought another pair of APC New Standards yesterday so I took some comparison shots of my first pair (1 year 3 months unwashed) next to the new unworn pair.
  19. I love Entourage. Shiny wins though Emmanuelle Chriqui is literally one of the favorite/hottest actresses.
  20. Damn, that's cool. The detail is just amazing.
  21. I voted no, not because I think it is morally right to own slaves, but because it is a crucial part in the development of every major civilization so without slavery the world as we know it would not exist.
  22. Hey buddy, calm down. Please be respectful to other people.
  23. New Cures aren't that skinny at all they're just slim just like New Standards and the only different between New Standards and New Cures is that New Cures are low-rise jeans.
  24. The majority of my shorts are chino shorts and more of lately I've been a bigger fan of shorts that sit right about the knee. I see - how are they for heat/breathability? How much have you paid for your shorts? They're great, I never have any issues with them in Arizona's heat which has been around 32C for the past month. I usually buy shorts for around $60-$90 USD and within that price range you can find a good variety of shorts to choice from. My favorite brand of shorts are Life After Denim, but I don't know if you'll be able to find that over in the UK.
