  1. I moving cities here within the next week or two and I thought I should look into getting a GPS to help get me around until I learn the area. I went to bestbuy.com and saw they're having a special back-to-school sale tonight and they just happened to have a couple of GPS on sale the Garmin nuvi 1250T and the TomTom XXL 540SGPS. From a spec list they basically look the same, so I was wondering from anyone that has used either one of these devices their opinion on them? Would you go for the Garmin or the TomTom?
  2. Oh yeah, I didn't check it again, looks like Wongtong put it on there for me. Cheers bro! HOW DID YOU KNOW Btw Stevepole, you should edit the OP to say that if the only way to edit the map is to PM your email address. If they don't feel comfortable doing this, just leave a reply with the location where you want a marker.. etc etc Added! Good suggestion.
  3. Oh how I knew you were going to be the first person the announce this here. :P Still waiting on my invite. <_< If I wasn't going out of town I would shoot my email right now but if I don't get my invite when I get back I definitely am.

You're only focusing on the extremes variables there. 1-3 beers is very casual drinking and also doesn't mean that he is always have 3 beers every night like you bolded. Also when he refers to going to a bar it's only probably only a few nights a week like one or two. I don't know why you have such a negative view on drinking, but it's not as bad as you make it out to be.
  5. I've been seeing put up a lot recently on some sites I visit. There are a lot of really unique ones out there that just kind of make you stop and stare for a minute.

Your liver is only [bleep]ed if you're an excessive drinker. A beer or two here or there isn't going to kill you.
  7. I'm thinking of picking up a couple Hemingway novels, any suggestions? I've never read his work before and feel it's something I need to do.
  8. Christ, this troll must be a pro. I'll take him leaving comments over deleting the map over and over again.
  9. This comment is still on the map, not sure whether the owner can delete it. I can't delete it, but I flagged it so hopefully someone at google removes it.
  10. Done. :) (this is turning into unintentional post count spam for me...) So this is why you wanted to become a contributor.. J/k A big thanks to all the contributors for taking the time to add others to the map!
  11. So everyone knows, I have gone ahead and changed the map so only contributors can edit the map. I felt this would be the best way for us to keep this project going safely without having to worry vandals. If you want to be added as a contributor just PM your email address and I'll add to you to the list. Or as Wongtong as offered, you can simply reply here or PM any contributor who has offered their services, and they will add you to the map. :)

I road my longboard for the first time in probably a year and half the last week. Brought back some good memories but it was way to hot out to enjoy it as much.

Adjusting your hand placement to can change up the muscles worked during a push up also for those looking for more variation, like putting your hands close together, usually done in a diamond shape will work your triceps.
  14. The only downside is making it invite only would make it less convenient for everyone but in the long run it would protect the map from random vandals. So yeah, if the majority want to go this route I'd set it up so I'd have everyone PM me their email address and for those who don't want to share their email can simply PM me or anyone that is known as a collaborator or leave a reply here and get them to place their marker with their message. It's up to you guys if we want to go this route or not and attempt to save the project.
  15. Not mistaken, people would be sending emails, to become contributors, which then I would disable the ability for anyone to freely edit the map? So far it's still the same person messing with the map. It's supposedly his friends email, according to the vandal, but as Y_Guy mentioned he looked it up and it doesn't link up with any user on these forums.

This is pretty cool, not going to lie.
  17. No way to personally block certain email addresses.
  18. As far as I can tell the only way to limit control over who can edit the map would be to gather everyones email and send out each person a invite to be a contributor. One thing Google Map's does show me is the last person who's contributed to the map and gives their email address so as far as I can tell it's been the same person then entire time.
  19. The person doing it has a crazy obsession with Das, it's a bit creepy if you ask me.
  20. I hate to inform everyone, that some individual thought it would be fun to delete everyone's markers and leave inappropriate markers and drawings on the map in there place. I have since removed all those markers and as of right now, it looks to be no way to revert the map back to a previous date. If people want to try and remap the community, I say go for it, but completely understandable if you don't, it's up to you guys.

Not going to lie, it'd be such a [bleep] to have to constantly updating your signature after every 10 sit-ups you do. I think I'll give this a go, but I'll do mine collectively after every hour. I think if Y_Guy got in on this, he'd probably stop spamming the boards all day. :P
  22. I was looking through a box containing the collection of stickers I've acquired over the years and I still have a good amount of Ron Paul's Revolution stickers left.
  23. To keep things simple, I'm a registered democrat in the US.
  24. It looks like someone (hopefully by accident) through almost the entire markers in the UK/Europe a few elsewhere off their original spots. I've tried to place as many as a could close to or near their proper locations.
