Was an epic war. Lgz outperformed- but that was to be expected with our low levels versus their pile, dey still scare me. I was pure f2p from 2004-2009. Got p2p in 2009 to buy my str cape, in that short time I was members I got a glimpse at just how badly f2p REALLY have it. But tbh, for 9 years prior to this f2p have always been at a disadvantage- now they're picking on our high players, I just don't think they like the fact that people play their game so much and aren't paying for it :P regardless, we're used to it by now, but I do agree with what you're saying :)

We competed in it last year. Was great fun for all of us involved- but we were drawn against Runescape Elites- knew we didn't have a hope in hell and so requested thee mot bizzare rules we could dream up ( I wanted melee off, but apparently nobody else did :P ) From the start we knew we didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning it. That's not to say we didn't love every moment of it, but when something's doomed from the start it gives you the urge to push on that bit harder in the hope of getting further. As for alliances- if you want to, I don't see why you shouldn't but I think it'd somewhat detract from your clans experience- two clans means twice the strength, but potentially twice the worry. Also agree there should be a matched/capped category. Don't see any problems here PVP would never work though. Too many crashers etc, I don't see how even JaGex could hope to control something as unpredictable as a PKRI. Possibly if you had barriers that only members of the clan could pass through, like the clan wars arena- but dangers, with rewards and maps like Spiders-ruins/Gdz. After that you have the problem of sniper/ranger caps, no corrupt + all that jazz. it'd be bloody difficult to moderate that, especially if it's the fast action we all associate with PKRI's. It only takes a few seconds to swipe at someone with corrupt then re-equip your original weapon. As for Mod Timbo- I'm sure the good people at JaGex locked him on the roof of their Oxford Offices. He's still up there guarded day and night by several engineering teams and squads of the SAS should any of the locks fail. Good riddence, lying bugger that he is.

"all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" I think that most of the so called "Top 10" clans don't enjoy CWA to the same extent that they enjoy pking. They don't feel the need to be ranked- they're all to caught up in their silly little game of clan politics. Leave them to it. They stagnate alone and refusal to adapt will be their downfall. All they can do is spread the propaganda which we've all heard a million times before. Ranking systems were first joined by many for a fast bit of fun; it was much easier to et up wars with them. Other people were attracted because they liked the idea of power - they can work to the top of that ranking system and be proud of it- that inevitably is going to attract people who like power to their clan. TWR is really the intermediate of the clanning world- stronger than most- but not as strong as RAW was in it's prime. But we all seen what RAW turned into didn't we? At least here there's some sense of community shared by everyone no matter how loose it is. Things come and go but I'm confident TWR and it's members will be here for a long while yet :)

Don't encourage them there no lif-urz :o the whole thing's rubbish, You need to get the skill to 70 to obtain one of them shiney new weapons. It takes 104mil xp to get 120 complete mastery. It's a minigame not a skill I don't like it. tbh it'd be a bit like introducing a clan wars level. The more you play and win clan war fights the higher youre level gets. Doesn't actually DO anything just shows you're good at that particular minigame. Think pures might try and get the 2h for a k0 weapon in f2p pvp. Other than that it's quite clearly not worth the effort. But it's bloody well addictive I'll give them that :P Contradiction imo. You're short sighted imo. Think smoking- you think people enjoy being addicted to that? A more extreme example would be heroin. People get addicted to that too- they hate it usually but they're still addicted to it. I don't like this skill/minigame, but it doesn't mean I'm not addicted to it. :) Except there are chemcials in those things that cause your brain to want for more. What element in the new skill is attracting you to it? I was just using those two as common examples. There's not necessarily a chemical which causes your body to need more for an addiction to be created. There doesn't even have to be any logic behind an addiction. I remember watching somehting on tele about an bulimic person who was addicted to pickled gherkins, random I know. Probably just addicted because it's been so long since there's been a new mini game released for f2pers and I haven't been all that active of late :D p.s. the way you phrased your question made it sound like a self help group- we should maybe set one of those up just for the bantur, you could be RuneScape's answer to Jeremy Kyle :D

Lol, in f2p firemaking is entirely useless. In p2p it has some uses- but mostly there're better/faster ways/items than the one provided by firemaking. As far as I'm concerned 99 fming is something that someone has got to trim their skillcape.

So true, it's inbred in pretty much every 'civilised' society nowadays that you can buy a quickfix- when that fails you you buy a quickfix for that and so on. It's the same with clans. I think my clan is fortunate in that we have several members who pretty much everyone looks upto. However- I doubt anyone will say that in the entirity of their RS career that they have never become bored with the game. When key members get bored with it then events stop happening- these key members keep the momentum going and when that stops the clan begins to die. The only way to stop that happening is to have ANOTHER member step up and say "[bleep] it, I'm not letting this break down". Unless someone does that it's game over: so sad :(
