If I was further away from 99, I might actually consider selling all the ores I have and then buying them back when the price goes down again. I'm still not convinced that superheating would be better for training Smithing than Artisan's. It's hard to argue with nearly 10x the xp per ore (112xp per iron ingot 1, or 12.5xp per iron bar) and not nearly as much clicking. :wink: I'm not too worried about mage xp atm, though. I'll get plenty of that from Varrock teles when training Runecrafting, and there's always items that can be high alched for a decent profit. I haven't had too much mining time the last few days, but I got some today and I now have less than 340k xp to go! It's getting so close. :ohnoes:

Gas station maintenance. I install/maintain pumps and all related control and safety equipment, so I spend all day going from site to site. After all, it's not like they can bring the broken equipment to me. :lol: I'm also the senior technician in our division (and angling for a promotion :pray: ) so some days I'm lucky and spend half the day in the office sorting through backlogged calls and parts that were either incorrect when we received them or were just plain not ordered (our dispatch/parts guy isn't the swiftest boat in the current <_< ). Other days I'm not so lucky and a lot of that time is spent with my boss, the divisional director, dealing with disciplinary problems with the other techs. Fortunately there's only one guy having issues, and I think my boss has had just about enough of his crap.

Gah! I hate stopping for lunch. It's so hard to get the motivation to start again. :wall:

You do remember that free areas are also available on members' worlds, right? :wink: I think the reason that more of the free areas are getting upgraded first, is because they're the oldest areas in the game. Not only that, they're the first areas a player sees when a new account is created. It makes more sense to upgrade those areas first.

Once upon a time, it was reasonably effective, until the bots started spamming websites for gold sellers, and the Pmods stopped enforcing the rules because they felt that it wasn't their job ... :rolleyes: I don't know that they felt it wasn't their job, but it certainly wasn't effective. On more than one occasion I saw a Pmod mute all the spammers in the G.E. only to have new ones pop back up one by one until within 5 minutes it was like nothing had happened.

Because of box staking and rat pits, and arguably conquest too. They could make it so that gambling/betting/wagering/etc... are against the rules outside of areas that have the mechanics already built into the game specifically for that purpose.

Any hill that I've thrown at it, and we have some pretty decent ones here, as you might imagine from the mountains in the background of that last shot. It has brand new studded tires, which honestly makes all the difference... do you have those over there or only chains? Today was one of those days I wish we could have studded tires in Ontario. In Quebec they're allowed, but not here. :wall:
