I saw some people complaining about their Amulet of Power turning green as well, so might be some issue with general enchanted gold necklaces. im f2p so i dont know about your p2p ammys but, my ammy of power, magic and str were all green yesterday It's not just enchanted amulets either, the basic gold amulet does the same thing and it doesn't even have a gem in it. :lol:

RuneScape is already downloaded and installed on your hard drive, check C:\.jagex_cache_32 or C:\users\(your Windows account name)\.jagex_cache_32. That's a 48KB .dll file. I'm talking about a multi-gigabyte application file. Many other MMO's do it, and can get great graphics for only a couple of gigs of hard drive space. Being able to run RS in the browser on dial-up was a noble ambition 6 or 7 years ago, but it's horribly outdated. I think they'd attract more new players than they would lose with a major engine upgrade that required this type of download and broadband internet. Heck, they could even implement Blutters' idea and run both. You are talking about RS right? RS is not made in Flash but Java ;) Yeah, that was pointed out already. Guess I've been playing too many flash games lately. So I'm not perfect. My ex-wife would be the first to agree with that. :P [/hide] Is it too late to chastise Kaida for the "Flash" comment? After all, at least three of you are regular posters here so it's only fair. :wink: So today's update changed the way basically every popup box is displayed, including the level up messages. Not sure what they look like just yet, but it will definitely mean a change in the level up pics from now on. They've also changed the level up fireworks to be much more showy, so here's hoping that for a 99 it's spectacular. :mrgreen:

That's kind of cool. I figured that the mime would be instanced, but it never occurred to me that the audience was as well. There's also something kind of unsettling about it. The Edgeville furnace is not usable on free worlds. The closest furnace to a bank in F2P is in Al-Kharid.

I used to level them one at a time, but since all of the combat training I've done lately has been while DG'ing with a Fractite spear I've been gaining the xp evenly on all four skills.

Yet somehow they make it so you don't care. :P

I think this was meant more for free players (especially as the OP is F2P). We don't have access to dust runes, but it's still a good suggestion. And yes, alching is very boring.
