Looking for a good gaming laptop.
I have to disagree with you there. I've been running a Dell Latitude D620 for about 5 years now. It runs basically 24/7, including in my truck at work, and I've never had a problem with it. OT - the laptop you posted would fit your needs nicely and is an excellent bargain for the price.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Looking at the prices, there is little difference in loss when comparing cooking lobsters and swordfish. That being the case, as swordfish are faster they would be the way to go. With the current prices, you would loose less cooking swordfish. It's very fast, but very expensive. Just like all the best training methods.

Why can't F2P have...?
I was honestly surprised when they gave it to us in the first place.

FoxThrottle
Your levels are getting pretty impressive! Keep up the good work. I noticed there's almost no Slayer or Summoning. Have you given Summoning a try yet? Did you not like Slayer? (honestly, I know almost nothing about either skill)

Dark Knight Rising
I rather like Anne Hathaway (and the fact that she's easy on the eyes doesn't hurt  ). It's good to see she's getting more adult oriented roles. She's come a long way from The Princess Diaries and Ella Enchanted.

It's not a "free" MMORPG anymore.
I don't know if my life would have been better if I'd never played RS. The community here at Tip.It is a lot better than most of the other games I've ever played.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
From what I understand, the sighted only makes a difference in PvP. For training, the short is still fastest.

Banned for explaining it to him. Thanks, btw, but you're still banned. :P

Back in my day...
You young whippersnappers had it easy. Back in my day, a 40 megabyte hard drive was huge. :P

Gratz on 1300 total, levine. btw - thanks again for the Fractite gauntlet bind suggestion. They work great.

Kaida23's Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero!
Hmm...650k - 30k/hr - 22hrs - 11hrs a day. Even I'm not that crazy. :P Thanks, Med. :-D You'd like it. The beds are real soft, and they have these great blue and yellow pills and oh look, a leprechaun! So last night, during a rare bought of clarity (and when the guards weren't looking), I jumped back down into the depths of Daemonheim to try for another DG level. I didn't quite make it, but I did get these two instead: [spoiler=Strength level 56 and combat level 69] [spoiler=Constitution level 56] I've replaced the Fire Staff with a pair of Fractite gauntlets as my second bind like levine suggested and they work great! I immediately noticed a difference in how much damage I was both dealing and taking. If you have a lower combat stats I highly recommend gaunts as a second bind. Thanks again for the great suggestion, levine. I'm hopefully only one floor away from that DG level, which would be great as I only have one floor left before I reset and it would open up floor 26 for me. I'm also less than 1000xp from a Crafting level, so I'll probably be getting that very soon as well. For now though, it's time to head back to the Dwarven Mine for some more ore collecting. I'd like to get another 200k xp before leveling up again.

Toolbelt and Money pouch
Unfortunately, no. I guess you leave your toolbelt behind when you descend into the dungeons.

Contacting clan leaders
Vezon is right, if your clan is that inactive then it's probably time to find another one. I don't know what your stats are, but as you're F2P I'd recommend The Total F2P Skillers, a very friendly and active clan. Of course, you could always join HYT, the official "unofficial" Tip.It clan.

This will be the year of?
Fixed. Personally, I'm hoping this year will bring a revamp of skills that basically haven't changed since RS2 was released. Skills like Smithing where the content and rewards are obsolete.

[F2P] Ouri's Self-Sufficient Odyssey [F2P]
Rune full. Nice. All you need now is a kite. Too bad none of the F2P monsters drop Rune or Addy plates. It's a long way to 88 Smithing.

Thank you for giving us the other side of the efficiency debate. The EP is full of writers and editors, none of us are very efficient. :P

Mousekey Problem on Win7
Jagex has stated that mousekeys do not violate the rules as they do not "automatically" do anything. They simply offer an alternative input option for some of the mouse functions. For example: If I press "q" and the pointer moves 10mm to the left of the current pointer position, then that is allowed. But if I press "q" and the pointer jumps to the first position in my inventory regardless of where the pointer is, then that is an automatic movement and is against the rules. As long and there is one input (key press or mouse click) and one resulting action without a predetermined location/outcome (move x milimeters from the current pointer postion or select the item the pointer is over) then there is no problem.

Introductions & Farewells
Welcome everyone! Cookie dough and raw sharks are by the range, grapes and jugs by the fountain. Help yourselves. What? You didn't think we'd do everything for you, did ya?
