You gained 52k Runecrafting experience? In one day? Dag, Soa. Well done! Congrats on the level up.

How quickly do you type?
It's the same as if you could bench press 400lbs or own a car that goes 200mph - bragging rights. :P

Of course. I'm not going to stop just because you decided to become a member. But if you get 99 Mining before me...  Gratz on the level ups, but how did you gain agility levels while training fishing?

25-Nov-2011 Quick Poll: RuneFest 2012 Location
But then we get back to the point of domestic vs international travel meaning US has 5:1 population over the UK so does it really show a fair result if America wins on mere population numerics, where as if you weight it etc interest % could be higher for uk. It's not only the UK voting for London, but most likely the majority of players in all of Europe. Someone pointed out earlier that Europe has over twice the population of the USA, so wouldn't that show much more interest for taking RuneFest abroad next time?

Oh cool a new item. How long till it degrades?
Personally, I never saw the point in degrading items either, for all the same reasons as the OP. I shouldn't have to keep paying for an item I already have.

Why does she use a law staff? Because of the chance to not use a law rune when teleporting? I'm assuming you're using the Varrock tele when crafting air runes.

Determining the world on which you died
To add onto what Runecrafts said, you should also mark that low ping world as a favorite so you can quickly pick it when you log back in.

28-Nov-11 Polypore Dungeon
The set looks pretty sweet. I especially like how the angle of your head makes it look like your eyes have no pupils. It's like they're glowing with some arcane mystical power.

Aten - The Road to IFB/MOA/5.4/True, May '01 - Dec '12 RIP || June '18 reborn
That new dungeon appears to be quite the money maker, doesn't it? I hope it continues that way and prices don't drop too much. Gratz on getting your statue half finished.

Tip.It Times - 27th November 2011
Fortunately, HYT has no problems with free players and all are welcome, member and non-member alike, but not every clan is so forgiving. I have to admit though, if non-members were allowed to contribute to the citadel upkeep I'd be more than happy to, be it through either monetary donation or simply resource gathering. Unfortunately, the increasingly not so subtle push to pay for membership is here to stay. I think we'll all either have to accept it, give in to it, or quit.

I tried to think of a way to say that you're comparing apples and oranges but you might have a point. Online gaming has really gone into the mainstream in the last few years. Sure, the PC has been doing that for years, but consoles really popularized it (Presumably because it was made easy to play with friends, both near and close). It might also have something to do with a number of other MMO games either going free with microtransactions (As popularized by consoles and [bleeping] Zynga) or free for a certain point (As Runescape did and as WoW is currently doing). MMORPGs really lost their monopoly on online social gaming, which was more or less all Runescape had. So it's probably less about Runescape competing with Skyrim, but Runescape competing with Modern Warfare and Battlefield via Xbox Live/PSN. That said, I haven't really played in the last week because of Skyrim so you may have a point there too. It's pretty much been gaming sweeps month. If they didn't delay ME3, you wouldn't see me here until maybe next July  The other part of the success of console games over PC games is that a console doesn't require regular upgrades in order to keep up. If you buy a game for your console you know it will work, but with a PC game you have to check all the system requirements and hope. Besides, and most of my friends barely know how to turn their computers on, let alone upgrade them. :P

Driving stories, complains, and other experiences
Totally reminded me of this: [spoiler=some NSFW language]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jk3s-bFc1c "It's a four ton truck, Tyrone. It's not as though it's a packet of...peanuts, is it?" I think that's a problem everywhere. My dad was a by-law enforcement officer for a few years and he loved people who did this. To him it was a big flashing sign that said "I'M PARKED ILLEGALLY!".

The majority of the F2P community are grateful for what we've been given. The problem is that now Jagex have taken away something that was always there, and that's a slippery slope. Once the powers that be realize that they can get away with taking things away, no matter how small or large, what's to stop them from taking away more? What would happen to the game if they decide to limit non-members to the Lubridge/Draynor starting area only?

25-Nov-2011 Quick Poll: RuneFest 2012 Location
Now THAT would be worth a few hundred bucks to go see. Perhaps RS needs it's own celebrity spokespeople. Maybe Matt Smith, David Tennant and Daniel Radcliffe. Or for a North American audience Nathan Fillion, Seth Rogen and Niel Patrick Harris.

You did? *checks hiscores* You did! Nice. You've opened up a much larger RS experience. I was going to suggest training Agility, but you've already started. Go for 90, the Agile armor is very smexy. <3:

25-Nov-2011 Quick Poll: RuneFest 2012 Location
In all fairness, a large portion of the player base is from North America. Unless they listed a city from every country that has it's own server, they were going to make some people unhappy with their choices. Although, RuneFest in Rio would be pretty awesome.
