That's Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, not sainte. Jean = male name in French. Sainte = female saint. Poutine is a terrible symbol, more like a hat with a giant beer bottle on it. Oops, my mistake. As I'm sure you can tell, my French is pretty weak. :oops: Wow, that's really awful. :blink:

Nice, but be careful talking about AHK. There was a big debate over it a while back and ultimately the answer we got from Jagex was that they are against the rules. If it's against the rules of the game, it's against the rules of TIF. It would probably be best to simply not mention it at all. :)

The same people who paid to turn their skin green. Cosmetic items are subjective and there will always be people who do and don't like them. Also, I just had a horribly pessimistic thought - what if this is Jagex's way of slowly phasing out the holiday items/events and making them for members only? :unsure:

Like those who choose to pay for extra content? This will not bring the community together, it will only splinter it further.

All three. I actually just finished a job at the Couche Tard/Esso on Boul. Des Grives. I do gas station maintenance, so it's not like they can come to me. :P Believe it or not, I have an amazingly large service area. Besides the Ottawa/Gatineau area, we go to Val-De-Monts, Thurso, Buckingham, Fort Colounge...and that's just the regular customers in Quebec. In Ontario I go as far as Bellville, Tweed, Petawawa, even as far north as Deep River. And, of course, everywhere in between. On the up side, I get paid for driving and they let me use my personal Air Miles card when I gas up the truck. :grin:

So once again poor old Canada gets forgotten. :( Maybe we'll get a special poutine hat for Sainte-Jean-Baptiste Day. :lol:

The more I read things like this, the more I think that somebody looked at the hiscores and said: "Hey! Look at how many of the highest ranked players aren't members. We need to do something quickly to change that."

If that's the case, then why not simply say so instead of trying to cover us in truckloads of manure about bots?

No kidding. Don't worry though, I'm not about to quit just yet - I'm far to close to 99 for that. :grin: The question is what I'm going to do afterwards, but I'll have plenty of time to see what happens and how I feel about everything once I get there.

That wasn't because someone had spoken out against Jagex, people do that here all the time, it was because the person who did it made libelous claims against Jagex that had no basis in fact. Also, didn't they threaten just that person and not Tip.It as a whole?
