It's a phish. This is what was sent from Jagex: Notice how there's no "view the evidence here" link in the official message anywhere. The QFC no longer works, but we were talking about it here when this announcement was made.

I can assure you no non-members are. A lot of members aren't very happy about it either.

And now another major issue gets announced the very same day. I angrily retract my previous statement. :angry:

As I stated in the update discussion topic, Jagex has just killed all of the goodwill they got from fixing the dicing and bot problems. I'm not going to lie and say I don't care about the highscores because I do look at where I am overall from time to time and now they've taken that away from not just me but everybody else as well. I get frustrated that F2P doesn't get many updates, but, as someone who stuck it out through the massive bot infestation of the last year, to just take away such a large feature is a huge smack in the face. What's next? Free players can no longer use Rune armor/items or can't do the Dragon Slayer quest?

There goes all the goodwill they got from finally fixing the dicing problem. Just when I was starting to believe that Jagex actually cared about their own game again. :wall:

I'm guessing they don't want to have to deal with separate tags for someone who may not have more than two articles, then. Interestingly enough, one of my articles is tagged under "Jonanananas" and two under "guest" O.o It's a new system that we're working hard to implement and get straightened out, there's bound to be a few inconsistencies. :wink:

Good luck with DIY you guys. I've been thinking of doing one myself but have been too lazy. :P You should register an e-mail to your accounts, it will give you another 10 bank spaces. It's not much, but in F2P every space counts. ;-) I'd love to hear about how you're training your skills, and if you have a larger plan for which skills to train first.
