Thanks guys. :grin: It's been a long, hard road but it's slowly coming to an end. Just last night I crossed the 12M xp mark, and now have less than 1M xp left! :thumbsup: [spoiler=Getting closer.] The last couple of weeks since the bot nuke have been really enjoyable and I've found myself wanting to play more and more. I haven't seen a bot since, I've had very little trouble in finding a spot to mine and I've actually been talking with the others around me while mining - something I can't recall doing in some time. Now that I'm down below the 1 million mark, I'm going to get a level in something else just to break up the monotony. Maybe I'll DG for a bit. Hopefully I'll have a level up for you before the end of the weekend.

This. I've spent almost as much time talking as mining the last couple of weeks. Not very good for the ol' xp rate, but good for my satisfaction level. :grin:

I've been having the same problem, so you're not alone. I think a lot of people are still having this problem.

Very few of my friends have ever made fun of me for playing either. Besides, most of them play some kind of FB game or another, most of which are easily more childish than RS ever was. Many places are going to be underused, especially with the environment of efficiency that is in the game today, as new content that's more interesting with better xp rates gets released. The game, like life, evolves and changes and all we can do is to change with it. I don't think the game is dying, not any more. I think the bot nuke is going to help breathe new life into the game and we'll all be here for many years to come. :)

Well that video took a disturbing turn... :blink: Now that that horror is behind us, here's some more! My girlfriend told me about this and I thought of you guys. :grin: A few nights ago, my girlfriend's friend's stepfather died. He had been sick and delusional for some time, but recently, every time she went to see him he would look very scared and say "Don't let them take me!" He had been moved around a lot as his illnesses progressed, so she didn't think much of it at the time. Now, as he had been very sick he had a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) so when the alarms on his monitors went off all the nurse could do was go in and see what happened. The night he died, the nurse on duty called the doctor in and they waited 10 minutes before calling the time of death, just to make sure. As soon as the doctor had finished pronouncing the time of death, he sat straight up in bed, giggling, and said "He told you not to let us take him" before falling back down onto the bed completely stone dead. Apparently that nurse hasn't been back to work since.

Me too - until recently it was 14 (at least in Ontario).

It's an abbreviation of "Hey you Tip.It'er". Back in the day you would say "HYT" to people you thought were from Tip.It to identify with each other. Kind of like a secret handshake. I actually had someone say it to me once while mining. :^_^:

Oops. I hadn't considered that. :oops: How about this then, he could try using the deposit box on the Port Sarim docks. Not quite as effective, but he could still build up a nice stockpile of iron for the Artisan's Workshop.

Agreed, but I can see Makoto's point though. RSBuddy flagrantly violated the rules of the game for a long time, but with little more than an "I'm sorry" were accepted as a fansite with no repercussions. That doesn't work for my kids on me, and it shouldn't work for RSBuddy either.

There's always a first time. If previous experiences were the only deciding factors in life, we never would have put a man on the moon. :wink: Personally, I'm glad that Jagex is at least trying. If the game manufacturers keep trying, eventually one of them will succeed.

It's not surprising that Jagex had a proper legal position before getting names and sending out the ultimatums. Glad they've made a statement to try and clear things up.
