Instead of hurting you, the yellow ones now give extra tears. The orange ones still hurt you though.

You mean this bit? They're talking about getting multiples of the same piece of armour, not getting both sets. To test this, I just bought the zammy warpriest cuirass and now have both.

I'd be okay with it if that was how it was presented right from the beginning. No one's squawking a about the cosmetic overrides being mems only, because that's how it was presented to us. In the beginning they offered us a new tier of armor, and now they've taken it away. I'm continuing with my plan to get both sets because I'm crazy like that and I like having different outfit options. F2P fashionscape ftw! :P

Bright green ones were never supposed to. The yellow/orange ones do. Also, I just encountered a new variation on the resource points after this morning's update: they temporarily became made of sacred metal and gave fragments instead of tears. When this happens they turn silver.

The tech they talk about is seriously dated, but it's still good. I have a copy on VHS that I watch every so often.

Yep. Once again we've been screwed and members have been given something that no one will use because it's outclassed by other sets. Decent armor was the main reason I was grinding this event. :(

Are you kidding me? I just wasted 4 weeks for nothing. You can't just change it in the middle of an event. Now it's useless. Should have been changed the first week, or not at all. This. So much this. What the hell are they thinking? Changing this a month in after we've already bought 4/6 pieces. This could have easily been announced before T2 was unlocked.

Crap. Has it really been 4 months since I last updated this??? :oops: Apologies, blog lovers. I assure you that my adventures have not stopped, although they did slow down for a bit. I am currently in the middle of grinding tears in the Battle of Lumbridge, as I'm sure many of you are as well. I've gained many levels, been many new places and seen many new things (actual gods fighting on Gielinor!) that I can't wait to tell you all about. Alas, these tales will have to wait for another day when I have more time to regale you with them. Watch this space for updates! :)

It should also be noted that the Duke's Dilemma is only available to members. Free players were allowed to vote during the first two weeks (and are unable gain the bonus xp awarded from it) but were not supposed to be able to do it at all. This was a coding mistake that was corrected with week 3's vote.
