Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
I think we've already crested the peak of player numbers and are in a slow, inevitable, decline. There will be upswings every so often, but we're never going to see numbers like they were a few years ago. That doesn't necessarily mean that the game is "dying" per se, but people will naturally move away from a game that's been around this long.

Kaida23's Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero!
Thanks, Green Bird. It's always good to have new companions on my little journey through RuneScape. I'm glad you're enjoying it. :) It's in the title so I kind of have to be, don't I? ;) I got lucky with the coronets, as woodcutting turned out the be fastest way to collect resources and that's what I chose to do from day one. I was just using the event as an excuse to get my wc to level 90, but it worked out pretty well for the coronets as well. Done! Chat me up if you see me in-game. btw - part 2 of my 4 month update should be up sometime this weekend.

Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
They did this after the Bot Nuke back in 2011 for exactly that reason (and with the same rage over loss of home worlds). Well, maybe not 'halved' but they did remove several worlds and retasked others so more people would use them. Perhaps they're hoping the populations will go back up now that RS3 has been released.

Kaida23's Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero!
Here we go blog lovers! It's time for the fist installment of my 4 month update. I figure doing it in parts will be easier for you to read, and it will be easier for me to post (working smarter, not harder). So without further adieu... Kaida's 4 Month Update Part 1! Shortly after my last update, Starlight Ore descended on us from the heavens and infused itself into mining rocks. Yelps must have worked a hell of a deal with the Dwarves for the stuff, as he was giving away hundreds of ores at a time on the Squeal, along with blueprints for new Starfire weapons. I lucked into a bow blueprint and, still feeling burnt out from the fishing comp, promptly said *bleep* that to mining 10k ores to make the damn thing. So I did what any sensible (and rich) person would do: got as many as I could from the SoF, and simply bought the rest! A quick visit to Ivar at the Artisan's workshop and I had myself a new, wonderfully expensive, decorative bow. I had lots of people asking about it while runecrafting...but I'm getting ahead of myself. That comes later. ;) To be honest, I kind of wandered away from things for a while after that. But the release of the Crown of Seasons brought me back and I threw myself fully into chopping trees to try and gain enough components for a Summer Coronet. That, and it gave me an excuse to get my Woodcutting up to level 90. First I got this: [hide=89 Woodcutting] [/hide] Then I got this: Then I decided that since the event was only half over and I'd already gotten one coronet that I'd try for a second. Yes, in an event where a lot of people didn't have time to get one, I was crazy enough to try for two. Along the way I got these: [hide=90 Woodcutting] [/hide] [hide=91 Firemaking] [/hide] Shortly after that I completed my Coronet of Winter, but, sadly, the screenshot didn't work. :( But you can see me wearing it in the next round of level ups. That's right dear reader, I said "level ups", and I have many to show you. But that shall have to wait for the next installment of my update. Tune in next time for "The RuneCrafting Competition", or "Rune, Rune Away!".

Lol. More games need comedy like that.- Today...
Yesterday I found out that some genius (probably my old boss before he was transferred) let two techs, our dispatcher (so another tech needs to replace her for the week) and one of the construction crew (which requires yet another tech as replacement) all take the same week off, so now I'm the only tech on the road trying to service a client base that normally takes five of us. This is going to be a *very* busy week for me. On the up side, I'm going to get hella overtime to help pay for my week off at the end of the month.- Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
No. You can stop and go off to do other things at pretty much any point.- Future Update Discussions
Dwarven Army Axe MkII?- 200M in all Skills
It was 5xp per, but they raised it with with week's update. The amount of xp gained involves a calculation of skill level and token level, but I don't have the exact figures. I gained about 55k Fishing xp yesterday (level 88, collecting my max of 1320 tears and focusing on fishing as much as possible) so it's not good for gaining max xp, but it certainly gives people more of a reason to participate now.- Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
The tutorial itself isn't all that bad. My son just went through it (with no help from me, and he's never played before) and rather enjoyed it, especially the 'let them eat pie' quest. The problem is combat, the academy really doesn't explain much so I had to explain the basics of it to him. They really need to rework that so it explains things better. - Treasure Trails clue
