We tried again last night an everything worked fine, although I did list his age as 16 this time. Maybe it was just because we tried raising his age without reloading everything the first time. Either way, thanks for the help everyone. :)

So tears in inventory are not lost, but what about renown? Is that reset when you switch sides?

I can get my full 1320 in F2P in about 3.5 hours. I'm sure mems would be able to get 2k in a little over two. Of course not everyone is going to be willing to spend all their playtime everyday for two months just to get rewards from this.

You get to keep the rewards you already have, you just lose all renown. The Icyenic weapon drops are the same for both sides. Wouldn't it be 4 weeks (7-8-9-10)? And you may not be able to keep switching sides as the higher level rewards also require you to have leveled up your token.

Okay, normally I'd have removed this and spoken to NoHopeLeft privately but this seems to be a fairly prevalent belief here so I want to set the record straight. No, it's considered a trust trade which Jagex has stated is not against the rules. Neither they nor we here at Tip.It encourage it though.

My son is trying to create a new RS account (yay! 2nd generation player! :grin:), but once we got all the details finalized it said he was 'ineligible to create an account'. We tried putting in a higher age (went from 13 to 15), but it still would not work. He has a valid email and the name isn't taken so I don't know what the problem could be. Did RS3 accidentally disable account creation or something? :P

He's recommending resizing the gameplay window so the tabs aren't covering anything. It also reduces the amount of stuff trying to be rendered all at once. I did it (thanks to Leik for explaining it) and it helped with the lag in my crappy laptop. btw - it's easier to grab the corner of the game window if you move the minimap out of the way.

...and it will still barely run RS3 on minimum settings. :lol: jk. Looks like you've got a good setup for a decent price. :thumbup: You'll have to tell us how it runs once you've gotten it all assembled.

Unless it's revealing some new way to train, how someone gains their xp is irrelevant as long as it's done in a manner that is within the rules of the game. I think having the artist you're going to have do the tattoo help draw it up is a much better idea than paying someone to draw it and then take it to someone else. That way they have a much better idea of exactly what you want, can help the entire idea grow organically, and ultimately end up with a better tattoo. I see what you did there. :lol: I'm definitely grinding through it for the armor. I think the Saradominist Warpriest looks better than Dragonstone anyway. I might splurge and buy myself a set one day, but I don't see it being anytime soon. I'd say there's a lot of free players doing the event. My biggest problem with it is how laggy the whole thing is. Between all the other players, NPCs, and assorted animations happening all around, I've had to go back down to fixed screen to make things bearable. [hide=Fixed screen NIS setup courtesy of Leik] [/hide] btw - if anyone is having issues with things like screen rotation feeling kind of buggy and jerky, set your camera type (under 'Controls' in the Settings interface) to RS3. For some reason it's defaulting to Classic (ie: how it worked in RS2). This made things a lot smoother for me. I know this has been posted on another thread here, but just in case people didn't see it I thought I would mention it.
