All this talk of framerates is making me very worried about the migration to HTML5...I barely get 15 fps on absolute minimum right now. :? Looks like I'm going to be stuck using the java client for a long time.

The F2P reward is an xp rate about 5 times faster than it used to be. That's good enough for me! :grin: (although the robes would be nice)

Yeah, wc is almost as good as Runespan for afk'ing (I'm spanning right now. lol). Are you dropping the ores or banking them for getting firemaking later?

It seems to be both random and intermittant which, believe me, can be a right pita to diagnose and correct. Hopefully they can get it fixed soon though. I got disconnected twice in less than an hour this morning.

The term used by people people who don't like getting warnings is "powertripper". :P Still, I do like this stewardship and protection idea. Like we're knights of old, riding across the countryside protecting the innocent from the evils of the world. Maybe I should talk to Randox about changing "moderator" to "Protector of the Faith". Let's see...Kaida23 - Global Protector of the Faith...yes, I rather like that. :grin:

Thank you. My dad and my aunt are her kids, but it is her son-in-law and they live near each other so they became very close. He even built an addition onto his house after my grandfather died for her to live in until she needed to be put into long-term care. I spoke to my cousin last night and she said that word has spread around the town they live in and she's being bombarded with phone calls and sympathy cards. Everyone there just loved him. As the only dentist in a small town that's over an hour outside of the nearest big city, people came to him from miles around and he was always willing to help people no matter what day of the week it was or whether they had the money or not. I remember one time when we were visiting and he got a call on Sunday morning from a woman whose son had taken a softball to the face and broken a tooth. He didn't think twice about it and had her go right to the clinc so he could fix it, apologizing to us about having to go in on a Sunday (we all undersood, of course). I found out afterward from my cousin, who'd helped him, that the woman didn't have dental insurance and was practically in tears about paying for it. He just smiled at her (he was almost always smiling), had her son get in the chair and told her they'd sort it out later. He did stuff like that all the time. I guess having grown up on a struggling farm himself, he knew what it was like. We always used to joke that he couldn't get arrested in that town. :lol: Me and my brother used to spend a few weeks with them every summer when we were kids, and I'm really wishing I could have visited more as an adult but it's a 6 hour drive from where I live and I just can't afford to do that very often. I have been down more over the last couple of years, so I'm glad for that. I'm going to miss him. :(

Aside from purchasing drinks from a pub, the only place they seem to spawn is in the Sorceress's house in Al Kharid. As to why the ones in your POH keep disappearing, this is from the RS Wiki: "Beer glasses from a player-owned house are a different item then the beer glasses obtained elsewhere." This might by why you can't take them out.

Sentry, really all you can do is try to be supportive and help him accept who he is. Ultimately though, I think this is going to boil down to how long you're willing to wait and deal with all the sneaking around. Sometimes you just have to do what's best for you. Just remember, there's a time and a place for everything...and it's called college. :lol:

I think people would be more open to increasing the skill cap to 120 if the exising skills were already properly fleshed out, with increasingly useful rewards and scalable xp rates. Upping them all to 120 would just turn the game into more of a grindfest than it already is.

Holy crap. I just found out that my uncle died. He and my aunt were in Budapest for my youngest cousin's graduation (which was yesterday, now both my cousins are dentists) and he just didn't wake up this morning. The initial diagnosis is that it was an aneursym. Everyone's kind of in shock over the whole thing. He was only 62, in good health and exersized regularly. Now that my youngest cousin is finished school, he was going to retire and turn his practice over to them (my other cousin started working with him as a partner a couple of years ago). I can't imagine what my aunt is going through right now. She's in another country and the only person she knows is my cousin and her fiancee. At least they have each other, but my dad and the rest of my aunt's family are all here. And it's my grandmother's birthday...

Yeah, the drop rates from skilling were abysmal and the whole thing seems to have been nothing but an attempt to get people to buy spins. I think if the drop rates had been better, or if they had run it for longer (seriously? 10 days? not 14?) people might have been more accepting of the overly transparent marketing ploy.
