Yeah, the drop rates are abysmally low if you're trying to get them from skilling. You can also trade items for other items (ie: 50 lush blossoms for 50 charred branches).

I passed a random practical skills assessment today, so I get to keep my license to work on gas pumps. I didn't even know they did random assessments. It's good though, helps to make sure that people are doing things the right way. When you're dealing with an explosive liquid, that's never a bad thing.

Right now I'm in the middle of nowhere and just finished fixing a console that probably would have kept working fine if the mouth-breathers who run the site hadn't screwed with it and simply let the auto recovery program do its job (hell, that's pretty much all I did). The thing that really cheeses me off about this is that it's a holiday and I'm not on call, but no one can get a hold of the guy who is. So now I'm missing out on an afternoon of Canada Day activities with my kids because I'm the only other one who a) knows anything about this system, and b) isn't three sheets to the wind. This isn't the first time this has happened with this guy either. I have a feeling the boss (who got called directly when they couldn't get a hold of this guy) is going to have a very long talk with him tomorrow.
