I hate to say it, but Ring World's right. That's not a feeling that will go away. She may be able to suppress it for a while but it'll come back, and the longer she fights it, the worse it will be in the end. That's one of the big things that broke up me and my ex-wife. Not being able to find a reason to break up with someone is not the same as wanting to be with them.

I'd be more than happy to bring this up with the rest of the team. It's been the "200M in all Skills?" thread for so long, I don't feel right just unilaterally changing it. If you support changing the name, simply like this post (rather than spamming up the thread with "support" or "+1" posts that I'll just have to hide anyway :P). I make no guarantees, but it will help show that the regulars are in favor of changing it.

Speaking of people who aren't allowed to roam around unsupervised. :P He definitely makes thing more interesting though.

It's so hot today... How hot is it? It's this hot... ...yep, that's a safety cone folded in half from the heat. That's going to keep me really safe. :P It's easily 40 degrees out and it's even worse in the sun on the concrete pad. You see the black lid on the right side? It's 40" across and bolted down. I had to change four of those, and the concrete was so hot I could feel it on my knees through my kneeling pad and on my hands through two pairs of gloves. I had to bail on helping my friend continue the work on his garage roof. It's just been too hot for too long and it's starting to make me feel sick if I'm out in it for more than an hour at a time (I'm actually taking a break in my truck right now). I just wasn't made for this much fun in the sun. Dammit Jim! I'm a Canadian, not a Californian! :lol:

Got a good haul from the $5 bin this weekend. Red - a wonderfully funny action movie with some big name actors. As always John Malkovitch stole every scene he was in. Lockout - I'm a fan of bad sci-if movies and this did not disappoint. I was a bit worried after the horribly done green screen effects in the opening sequence, but after that it was pretty much what I was expecting. Turn movie on, turn brain off and enjoy. Weekend At Bernie's - I think this speaks for itself. And now I have my very own copy. :D

He won't be able assist with the upkeep of the clan's citadel or access any of it's bonuses though, unless he becomes a member.

Today I helped my best friend redo the work on his garage (no, no service call to save me from hard work today. lol) and it was so hot out this afternoon, when we finally went in our shirts were so soaked with sweat his wife thought it had started raining. :lol: That's my understanding of it. It won't run multiple clock speeds so it defaults to the slower one.

This is just going to continue to deteriorate so I'm locking it before it gets there. Bobbie, feel free to post any further RS questions you may have in the Help & Advice section.

Because we're social creatures and the primitive part of our brains places a lot of weight on being accepted by others.

Today I was supposed to help a friend of mine dig post holes for a fence he's putting up. As I'm driving to his place, I got called in to work. So I got 4.5 hours of double time for doing an incredibly easy job and didn't have to dig post holes (which I really didn't want to do, but he's my friend so whatcha gonna do?). I'd call that a win. :grin:

Just about everyone's been having problems pretty much since the Vorago update. Lag, low fps, random disconnects, entire worlds going offline...you name it. Something's gotten majorly bugged up the last couple of weeks.

What about us poor people with lower end computers who have to run in fixed screen because full screen lags too much? I'm not looking forward to having that much of my already limited screen real estate taken up. :(

A clock tower frozen in time? How very meta.

Unfortunately, not everyone is as experienced and aware of these things as we are.

Outside? *pffft* Summer just means more time for playing RS! :P
