Hey gang. Sorry the updates have been so light this week, it's been absolutely crazy at work. I haven't really had time to play since Tuesday. Last Sunday I was able to finish off another floor, gaining two more levels along the way. :thumbsup: [spoiler=Constitution Level 53] [spoiler=Defence Level 52] I gained another Dung level from that floor, and then another on Tuesday morning. [spoiler=Dungeoneering Levels 35-36][spoiler=Level 35] [spoiler=Level 36] I'm still about 1000 Xp short of level 37 which sucks, because I was hoping to open up at least floor 20 before I had to reset. Oh well, I'll just have to reset and start back at floor 1, I guess. Having 18 prestige will be much better than the 2 I currently have. Although, I haven't completely ruled out spending the tokens to level up and unlocking floor 19, then doing a med and seeing how close to level 39 I am. I don't have any real use for the tokens yet, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable spending 2-3k of them on levels at this point. I was also able to get in Tuesday night and do 'Gunnar's Ground'. I really like the new boots, even if we can't say the name of them on TIF. :wall: [spoiler=n00b F2P quests ftw!] Although, I think I might have learned a little more about Dororan than necessary... :blink: Dororan was so impressed with my abilities, he asked me help him again... [spoiler=I need to start charging him for this stuff.] ...which gave me yet another level, this time in Crafting. [spoiler=Crafting Level 51] I also went back and visited an old quest I discovered had some more rewards [spoiler=Myths of the White Lands][spoiler=Explorer Jack profits from a joke] [spoiler=Explorer Jack found something interesting...] [spoiler=...and so did I.] I made 5k gp and 2k Crafting Xp for about 5 minutes work. Not bad for an old Holiday quest, eh? I'll have to come back when I reach 80 Woodcutting for the final reward. Wow, I had a heck of a week. I'll try to make my next post a little shorter. :P BTW, I'm up over 950 total now so 1000 total and 99 Mining is becoming a real possibility.

At first I thought it was blood too but I'm not so sure. When you fail to fix the pillars it'll say something along the lines of "You got some of the liquid on your hands and it severely burned you." Last time I checked though, blood wasn't acidic, so why does it burn? Unless it's like, boiling or some acidic monster blood or something. I'm not sure. It's Alien blood from the future! Somebody call Ripley! :lol:

Yup. I do this all the time with my Deaths so they only take up one slot.

They've used it to give some back story to Barbarian Village and explain a bit of RS history. Quests like this, the tutorial island replacement and 'The Blood Pact' are much more story and RPG driven to help new players immerse themselves in the game.

Wow. Just wow. For one floor you got more Dung Xp than I have in total. :blink: Good to see the Xp per floor won't always be this low. Congrats on the level ups and finishing a noob-level F2P quest. :^_^: If you haven't already, you should go see Dororan again and get an easy 2k Crafting Xp.

They confirmed ages ago that that idea was dropped because they don't want to encourage grinding in F2P I'm not asking about skillcapes, those were rejected for F2P years ago. However, I remember reading something as recently as a few months ago about an 99 skill item for F2P.

Are you still planning on releasing an item for F2P'ers who get 99 in a skill? If so, when?

It's all part of a global conspiracy to get rid of anything that tastes remotely good in the name of "good health". Personally, I blame the flannel-wearing granola crunchers for trying to destroy what little joy we have left in life by forcing us all to eat boiled celery. Think for yourself, man! Just make sure you don't do anything different from what I tell you.

I'm not sure starting in September of '05 would qualify me as "old school" but I've been around long enough that I remember selling Mithril scimitars in Lumbridge for 1500gp each and thinking Smithing was a great way to make money, getting scammed out of a black platebody by someone promising to "trim" it for me, avoiding Edgeville like the plague because I didn't want to be killed by PK'ers in the wild (okay, so I didn't have the best understanding of how it worked back then), and logging into W1 Varrock once out of curiosity...which locked my computer up so badly that I had to shut it down (I didn't go back until after the G.E. was introduced). I've seen a lot of changes in 5 years. Some good, some bad, but overall the game has gotten better. Personally I've embraced the changes. They've made my RS experience more enjoyable, my training more efficient, and my cash pile larger. Once upon a when, old school was anyone who'd been around for RSC. Now it seems anyone who was around for the old wild/pre-G.E. days is the old school. Just wait until the next generation, old school will be anyone who actually got to do the Romeo and Juliet quest. :^_^:
