Lmao :P Sorry for laughing, but I just found that hilarious :oops: I can't see why everyone seems to make such a big deal out of "old people" playing RS. Majority of the players from back in the days (or the most famous ones so to speak) are between 20-40. I'm 19 my self and have played the game almost from the start, with alot of breaks though :)

Less honor now? How's that? As far as I can remember it's always been like that..Well, at one point in RS when wildy first was introduced, people wouldn't log. The only reasonable explanation I can find is that, majority of players in RuneScape these days are quite young and they're still establishing moral values.. Because usually we learn early that greed is a bad thing (sorry for speaking of greed in both rs and rl-terms) but personally I think your personality reflects your in-game behaviour to a certain extent.

Greed is inevitable, whether it is in-game or in real life. I'd have to say that your statement is contradictory.. How are you suppose to feed ones ego and obtain as much as possible without a community? Surely NPC's don't drop everything.

Personally I'd say your definition of "love" is a bit off.. It doesn't just revolve around the physical parts. Fair point though, but still..Wether you're actually with a person or not I still think it's possible to "connect" on a mental plane. Afterall isn't that why you're friends with just a certain amount of people in RS..I think having a rs gf breaks the monotonous routine quite nicely. I don't have one, although I'd say it's wrong to look down on someone based on how an individual decides to play the game.

She only started pking alot around the time RS2 was launched, if she'd played earlier I've got no doubt she would've made quite a name for her self. But to state her as the greatest of ALL rsc pkers catching wise would be an insult to people such as Adx1, Kmd (even though he used speed set), Unitpoop, Dsm, Bs Arkan.. yeah, you name it ;)

It actually pains me to see this much ignorance in ONE thread. People don't just go and suicide "just like that" over a game. These things builds up and "eats you up" emotionally from inside (lol I couldn't think of a way to express my self :oops: ). For many people RuneScape is more then just a game, although it would be stupid of me to go and make assumptions because I know nothing of the boy. But if I'm allowed to make a guess I'd say he sought comfort with RS so he wouldn't have to deal with his RL.

I'd have to say that's a very good list.. But surely you can't leave out names such as Alphas Queen? She was quite high lvls pre-RS2 as far as I'm concerned, and not all too unknown within the RS-society..

Don't act so surprised :) Afterall RS is one of the biggest online MMORPG's that's actually free and (to quote hobgoblin11(sp?)) runs in java. I might be wrong though :wink:

OH, wait, it's just Zezima. It's a real shame the two of you got banned, Jagex makes alot of mistakes, usually they tend to get ignored.. I've had a few problems of my own with them, they all got solved in due time, although each time to a certain price.

No, you're quite wrong there.. PID is not about ping and connection.. you've got it all mixed up. Pid (player id) is the id you're given when you log in. If you have a lower pid then your opponent you'll be able to catch him. Good connection will not help you get a lower pid, quite the contrary, although it will allow you to have a lower ping, which means less lag so if you have a lower pid it will be easier for you to catch. Hope I made my self clear :P My understanding so far as I came back was it was similar, and I know its the ID given, and that bots can tell you what you and others have. Pretty much thats how we figured who had catch, or the best ping to the server. Yeah, but since I don't auto I don't have that advantage. Ping is in my opinion irrelevant, I know that I have a decent connection and have less lag on the london servers compared to us servers :) Edit: and no a better connection will not help you get a better pid, it's all about luck. :wink:
