  1. dude you could have saved yourself the time and just said scimmy ownz long it's that simple :/...but if you wanna go in detail... 1) scimmy is curved and shorter which gives it a better swing and momentum to get it started. 2) the scimmy's curvature enables it to cut through the air like butter. not even butter. like...very soft butter....like butter that's been melted. 3) the overall structure of a d scimmy gives it balance, multi side swing control, a comfy all size grip, and it's a scimmy! What else could make the d scimmy better?!huh?! 2) have you every tried to cut very soft butter? its not fun. Only when I'm baking. While playing RS, I don't give butter a second thought. Anyway, I wish the dragon scimmy special was better outside the wildy. That's why I sold mine. lpinkus
  2. There is so advantages. Not ALL computers are more powerful, a solid, good computer is not as accessible as a PS2, consoles would not produce lag, using a console dramatically reduces the possibility of getting carpal tunneling. Furthermore, JAGex could get more money from consumers by offering updates/upgrades or new added bonuses to the game only purchasable through player points. Graphics would be wickedly better, screensizes would be bigger, resolution quality would be higher and the special added bonus of not having to click click click everything. On a PS2, it would be a total of 8 buttons tops to use. A PS2 can't get viruses, or crash and it can only become obsolete to a better model. With all due respect, Runescape is not meant to be a console game. I mentioned in an earlier post that I'm not a big gamer; I don't own any consoles. For me, RS is perfect like it is, and I'm sure there are many other 'scapers like me. Sure, the things you mentioned (which I bolded) can certainly make a game entertaining, but RS is *already* entertaining, simple as it is. lpinkus
  3. I never PK, so I prefer the long. I sold my scimmy because the special is useless to me. lpinkus
  4. Not to all players. They're xp, moneymakers, etc. to many. However, I do agree there's no point to it :) lpinkus
  5. No. I don't want to buy a system :) I'm not that serious of a gamer, and others like me play RS because it's cheaper: free to 5 bucks a month :) lpinkus
  6. Hoo boy. I'm sorry, this sounds pointless. In the simple, java graphics of RS, the only time gems that look "shimmery" are when you see them in your inventory/trade screen. Make your gems into ammies and rings, fellas :) lpinkus
  7. That sounds like it would take forever :) To each his own, tho. I thieve. lpinkus
  8. Well, a world for only-trading would be fine by me, but I honestly don't know if the graphics really contribute to lag from one world to the next. lpinkus
  9. I think he means that it states a price rather than saying the shop is out of stock. I also wouldn't say it's "wierd," tho. lpinkus
  10. Um, yes, but then it would about the same amount of xp with a different number of levels, and what's the point of that? lpinkus
  11. There are only a handful of players who have/nearly have 99 in all levels. Why is this necessary? It isn't. lpinkus
  12. Now I agree with this! There should be a door witch you need to picklock. And a portal to Burthorpe! And It should be located just north of Ardougne, with better stalls and NPC's to pickpocket, some doors you need to picklock and some chests and a high level erea with a trap on a bridge. And of course, some food if you fail to pick pockets, It should not be the idea your character dies! :D Abba Killer Combat 52 Thieving 27 Member of RuneScape And a portral to every other guild, right? No, guys. Too many guilds make the game too easy. Someone said something about a slayer guild earlier. Sorry, but that's an awful idea. Walking/teleinh to all the different places for assignments is important to the difficulty of the slayer skill. lpinkus
  13. If it's the same level as mith, why do we need it? lpinkus

POHs will come out in RS2, the one were playing now. My opinion. lpinkus
  15. I'm not opposed to clans, but I can see people being really annoying, saying "hey join my clan its gunna be kool. we rich" :) lpinkus
  16. Please use the search button. People have suggested player houses/markets a lot already. Read up on it. lpinkus
  17. The Rogue's Den. It is pretty good for thieving, but I'm a big thieving guy and I feel the Ardougne market is best. Also, I don't really think a thieving guild makes sense. Why would a man, watcman, paladin, hero, etc., all walk around inside a guild full of thieves? lpinkus
  18. Heh, OK then. Hope you've been enjoying at least one of the aforementioned games :) lpinkus
  19. I hate newbs! Grrrr! I kid, I kid. I love newbs. Even noobs at times. But I don't think we need any more guilds at the moment. lpinkus
  20. I remember that's true, but does anyone think it's really worth cooking most or all of your food there, in terms of efficient training? I think I once made bread there, but I'm 66 cooking now, so I don't think I'll be going back :) lpinkus
  21. Spam is the price they'll pay :) Yeah, I like this idea, even though I have no *friends* on RS who I set a time to meet up and play with. Maybe I'd use it for trading, tho. lpinkus
  22. I gotta be honest, I don't know if that really teaches someone a lesson about being noobly. Maybe for some, but others would just become bitter and start writing keyloggers :) lpinkus
  23. ? That's making it *way* more complicated. Aren't you happy already with turning into a monkey or sheep now and again? lpinkus
  24. Welcome to the boards Cloud, but that was pretty random, and therefore should have been a new topic. Still, I've seen it before :) lpinkus
  25. Clever idea, for sure, but I feel it makes things more complicated than necessary. Maybe someday, but I'm not bored with the way prices work now. lpinkus
