So I've done some fishing until the music tracks were fixed and I could finally get my comp cape back. After that its been pretty much slayer for me. I'm still really enjoying the skill and the random fun it brings. Here is a look at my interface set up I finally decided on and enjoy: Pretty much allows me to see clan chat, a guest clan chat, and either a friends chat or pms. Along with that I can see my prayer book/magic book/summon interface while still seeing my bag. Pretty happy with it honestly. I did do a few random testings. One of which was to see if you could make the grave interface larger (died at the end of a black demon task on purpose to see and their was a low level ranger there, bet he was entertained XD). The best thing so far slaying has been this imp champ scroll while getting kc for zammy (for greater demons) XD, got a bit of rage trimmed friends who hated this scroll: Also was a good trip overall with a hilt and effigy: Besides that I've also taken random effigy screen shots for fun, since everyone loves seeing effigies! For a change, I'm actually having decent effigy luck. I've been continuing with recording my tasks and skipped tasks as well, even though I've not posted an updated one in awhile. I use short hand when getting tasks so I don't spend 5 minutes writing out each task I get so takes a bit of time to actually go through and type everything out. I've past the 1500 task mark and sometime when I'm fishing I'll make it look pretty and post it :P, maybe next update. Edit: Also updated my opening post a bit too

I think zammy looks more like a draq queen tbh... Honestly the wings over did it for me too. I think the rest of his design was great and fitting, but the gigantic wings over do it in me and went way too far in the direction to make him appear "overly evil" and even take away from his presence. Also find it odd, atleast lore wise, that Saradomin has had a completely different design in this event. Into the more traditional long white beared, "overly good" looking God. His previous design in World Wakes and Ritual gave him a demanding presence (he stood out) but it didn't strike you right away he was "good." His design in this event does though (thinking papa smurf) On a very happy note, Jagex after many years of suggestion. I'll be on the look out with Ultraballs ready ;) And here it is, 50M slayer done for my #14 skill: Not just positive where I'm headed next with my goals. Most likely 50M farming is in the near future (6.4M away and daily tree runs). As it sits 50M Fishing is most likely next on the horizon, even though I've had a hard time finding a rhythm with fishing. I don't enjoy long days of c2 fishing nor do I care for rocktails. I'll likely end up barbarian fishing with a mix of fish flingers (I still have ~12 tickets and usually get quite a few fishing trout/salmon if I choose that path). RS3 is tomorrow, which could mean big changes or maybe nothing much at all. Tomorrow could change my whole outlook on the time table of my current goals. Will have to wait and see. I am also considering continuing on towards 200M slayer currently. I love mage slaying and as it sits I'll hit 200M slayer right around the same time as 200M defense and 200M magic (about a 10 mil lead on magic and 3M lead on defense with similar gains each day). I'm not entirely ready to commit to the 200M slayer goal though, so will have to give it more time on finalizing that goal. Well my last update was pretty boring without pictures so I made sure to get a few for this one :D! I've been keeping to the no lifing of slayer this week and I'm currently about 500k away from 50M (49M pic below). I originally planned to get 50M today but I didn't happen to get on that early in the day, I've had quite a few "boss" tasks (and while I enjoy them, they aren't the hardcore slayer exp and hour), and the wife wanted some time today XD (they are exp waste, stay away). So with all that 50M slayer is planned for tomorrow. Here are some pictures of my Slayer travels the last few days. I've started doing Zammy gwd for almost all my greater tasks. I've duoed it a few times, but mostly soloed (duo with friends that happen to have greater task too). For Zammy I typically take 1 hour trips (12 overload doses) and usually that puts me right around the ~130-150 kill range for the task. The boss and 2 of the generals count for the greater demon task so all and all the task usually takes 2 whole trips of about 2 hours. I plan to work that down to 1 trip with a bit more experience there and possibly when I unlock sea singer robes. Currently I'm doing all my tasks in full virtus (plus slayer helm of course :P). Here is loot from a 177 Greater task: A little bit of luck goes a long way! Today I finally experimented with Arma gwd too. I originally planned to solo mage the task, but just so happened a friend came up with an avian task too so we duoed. Maging Arma didn't do horribly. You without a doubt have to pray range instead of soul split, but then with some rocktails and vampirism aura it is very doable to do with an hour trip. I plan to add Arma gwd to my normal rotation now. I've been lucky with drops lately too, heres some loot pics: Finally I've been having quite a bit of QBD tasks too, here is loot from a task of 49 with 2 rare drop table drops that made me literally -_- irl. To end the update, I found a Mish: Still collecting Tip.iters while slaying ;). Actually found a Quyneax at Fish Flingers but figured I'd need to capture it slaying for a better pic (if that ever happens ;) )

Was standing beside him when the giant claw came down and crushed him D: (the avatar stayed for 5 minutes after though so it was okay!). Anyway, from what he said on EE's vent is a ban for "goldfarming" o.O I'm sure someone can nudge him here to confirm.

Been a few days since I updated, but sadly no new pictures to share that are that interesting :P. I've passed 47M slayer experience and 60M magic experience. I should be able to finish out 50M slayer with a week or so. I'm considering continuing on with slayer to 200M currently. I've been enjoying it and its actually been decently profitable (mainly from QBD, Ice worms, Ganos, and Automons). Will have to see what I feel like once I get 50M slayer I suppose. Besides that I've finally started doing warbands and have to say I enjoy them, very quick experience without much hassle. I've splitting between farming and mining experience from there. I know farming is a horrible choice, efficiency wise, but I'm no model of efficiency (I was a member of Reign of Terror for 6 months and Wicked Fury for 2+ years, so plenty of nonskilling for me). I like the boost to my daily farming gains, and 200M farming seems like a good long term goal. I'll try to find some pictures that are interesting for next blog update XD, guess all I have is my current task list (which I've been burning through my stock of slayer points with bad streak of tasks):

Same exact problem for me on two computers. Hadn't had access to HTML5 previously either so halfway looking forward to trying it out and beta testing while skilling.

^ Was under that impression too, but I've honestly not killed them since EOC soooo damage may act completely different. I'm interested in adding them to my "do" list if I don't need to lug around a DFS or an elemental shield

Truthfully I sucked my first 20-30 QBD kills too, alot. Was to the point I was using upwards of ~50 rocktails for 4-5 kills. I changed from full subj to gano top and legs (+subj boots/gloves) and changed my ahrim's wand and book to a chaotic staff. My first few dozen kills I also used momentum. Getting a good ability rotation, plus the extra power and armor really made the difference for me. Along with that, it is a lot about experience. After 50 kills I finally had a rhythm to my kills and then I was able to start doing hour inventories etc. Here is my pic from the 89 QBD task, I'm missing the Dragon kite I got in the price check (it only sold for ~550k): Kite drop:

The monsters in the fight cauldron now count as a slayer task (happened a few weeks ago with the new loadstones and stuff, but I didn't really pay attention to it). The big, magic dog thingies give like 900 slayer exp each and just goes from there. Pretty nice tasks honestly. I did a task of 90 earlier today and managed to get 2 20k lamps during it too. For slayer, I mage in there instead of melee though, as it is easier to avoid the lava squares.

Enjoy a week of Fight Cauldron o.O, gotta give us a loot picture after the week though! I want to see 1k Onyx bolt tips, from 1-4 drops at a time ;) Good luck with the record ^_^

Didn't notice any difference on the damage reduction for the regular monster. But the nerf hits with the titles that light up with lava, previously the damage from it was half as well (from ~1500 to ~750), but now the damaged isn't reduced anymore and if you run in quickly with melee and take the 2 or 3 ticks of 1500 damage it can add up :s. Not sure it will greatly affect experience rates, but it does make it more annoying imo. Zarfot wasn't a hardcore buyable person. He originally made his money from double natures and he ran his own essence through the abyss from 91 runecrafting until ~30M runecrafting (before discovering merchanting etc). He also championed fletching bolts while woodcutting (before it was nerfed) and he cut teaks and fletched (I believe it was, its been years) adamant bolts. Granted you can come right back with he was the first person to 200M prayer etc. But Zarfot was fairly efficient in whatever he did and was fairly well rounded. I'm not entirely fanboying either, I first met him through his Runescape Forum's Goal/Achievements thread. He kept a running RSB thread for 99 slayer, 99->30M RC, and then a thread for 99 alls. About a year and half back I dug up most of his 99 all thread I had saved on my computer (we were fairly close in levels at the time and I pretty much copied off his methods for half of my 99s) and posted it here XD. The task of 49 QBD turned quite profitable: Along with 2 effigies as well. I averaged right at 14 kills an hour so that makes right at 4M an hour with that haul. Ironically after that task, I cancealed a task of mutated jadinkos and got 89 QBD right back. Makes like a whole day of QBD (49+89 QBD = ~10 hours). Loving the profit still though XD

Defiantly, I've heard of numbers up to 200k slayer experience an hour XD, each kill gives 14k experience XD Discovered that I enjoy Fight Cauldron this weekend and spent some hours there training attack, collecting the 20k slayer lamps, and getting enough shards for like 10 sets of obsidian armor. I never managed to get into the 500k attack experience an hour that I've heard of but I averaged right around 400k an hour with drygore maces and obsidian armor (along with about 2 lamps an hour too). This also means that I love Tzhaar tasks now. Besides a few hours at Fight Cauldron I've been sticking pretty heavily to slayer. Today I've passed the 44M mark. With the barrage nerf, I've gone to using abilities on almost every task now and with that I've also switched to using a Chaotic Staff. Typically I'm maging ~85% of my tasks and using drygore makes on the rest. Honestly like my mage ability rotation better and the fact I don't have to run up to monsters to hit them. I'd love to finish off 50M slayer before the new skill drops and I'm considering sticking with slayer past 50M too right now, since I'm enjoying it and its fairly profitable. I've set a few tasks aside where I make money off them and the rest of my tasks I basically power slay and don't even look at the drops. Typically I aim to make money off of Ice Worms, Ganos, Black Dragons (QBD), and Automons. I've nearly profected my QBD stratiegy now so I actually make a decent amount. The rest of the tasks I just power through with abilities and with abilities I don't use near as many runes anymore. My current stack of 10k Bloods and 100k Fires has lasted nearly 3 days now, where before I used upwards of 30k Bloods a day. Actually tried a task of them out after I read your post just to see how they are now (honestly hadn't done a task of them since EoC). They die very fast, but didn't give that much slayer experience per kill (want to say in the 115 exp range) so makes them a bit on the slow side imo. I've been well in the positive side on slayer points, so usually I stick to tasks I enjoy and have plenty of points left over for tasks I think are alittle slow or just don't enjoy. On that note I spent the majority of the day slaying. Was going to rant that starting today I was 3.7M slayer experience without an effigy, but I finally broke that dry streak and got 3 total effigies today, all from Ice Worms. Passed 42M slayer experience today. Also have been breaking even slaying as well, which is a bit unexpected for me. I'd like if I could even make it so I make a bit of profit, but don't want to cut into the speed too much. If I can manage to get a set of sea singer robes from ports I'd be more game to do Zammy GWD for Greater Tasks and will even consider learning KK for kalphite tasks to add profit. Been a few days since I've updated. I've been rotating between slayer, runespan, and fishing. I'm going to mainly attempt to slay and fish, as they are both 50Ms I need. Before today I was getting in barrage slaying and was actually going through upwards of 20k runes a day (deaths and bloods). Sadly the update today sorta crushed that buzz, but I'm slowly working back into it. Also trying to coax myself into using abilities on single target tasks for a a bit more speed. Yar it adds to a large amount of exp waste ;) Did some more curly roots this morning, but switched to slayer by the afternoon. Got a slayer task of ~52 Black Dragons so decided I'd do QBD for them, which then took up the rest of my afternoon. Was a bit of a learning curve for me, I started meleeing and broke bank getting two drygore maces XD, did about 10 kills that way and decided I didn't like it, so I switched to blood barraging and liked that worlds better. I also think I got much faster kills maging than I did meleeing. Took me about 4 and half hours total. Spent amount 5mil (10k bloods, and ~400 rocktails) and ended up with this: + 1.1M in coins So 6M profit in 4 and half hours of a slayer tasks. Not bad was a good change up for slayer for me. Tomorrow I plan to do more slayer, aiming to finish off 50M defense, which is 2M away.

Thanks guys :D I'm basically all over the place with my experience gains the last few days, pretty much doing a bit of everything and nothing keeping my attention for too long. I have like 100k-300k experience in each skill at this point nearly. Right now I'm money making from farming (lantas+super sara brews) along with daily tree runs I did some Curly Root burning for the new Crown of the Season parts without a great amount of luck I tried some c2 fishing since I still half want 50M in all skills, was okay but not sure how hardcore I could do it. I afk Runespan when playing other games or other stuff. I made 300 Juju Farming potions so that got me like 150k hunting experience. I've also been slaying here and there. Sooooo I'm all over the place still, most likely I'm going to stick to slaying, afking runespan, and curly roots for any luck at crown of the season parts. Here is 40M farming that I got yesterday:

Ohai 8-) Sooooooo its not like I disappeared for 6 months or anything like that. I blame life, biochemistry, marriage, and graduation. But! I am back to scape a little bit. Currently job hunting and in the bored waiting period so passing the days where I'm sitting here staring at my phone I decided I'll play a bit of runescape again. Started back about a month ago and finally finished the 200M thieving that I had planned to be done by January XD June 19th, 2013 Currently I'm bouncing between slaying, farming, and afking runespan. Really not many current goals, not sure how long I'll be playing but figured I'd atleast close out the story of this 200M. If I do continue playing I'll likely aim towards 200M runecrafting while working on slayer and farming and just see where it takes me Offtopic, why I was away for 6 months this time:
