Super amusing losing 2 overall ranks a day due to working 8 hour days and doing a slower skill :P Things are going as planned with Runecrafting, I'm averaging about 500k a day which will make it so I need 1mil exp on Saturday and Sunday to finish up 50M Runecrafting which isn't too bad. After then its to thieving to reclaim some ranks >.>
  2. Managed to pass 46M runecrafting experience today. Given myself 5 days for 4M experience, while working at the lab :s. Not positive I'll get it, but something to aim for. I also have to throw in citadel caping in there too so think I'm overshooting my goal a bit. Should at the very least get it Sunday if I cannot get it Saturday though :P
  3. Agree I would really like to see a video. So far I've gotten its c2 woodcutting. Some guy clears dg, other guy moves ggs to tree. I believe its 240k xp/hr. But a video would be awesome. That way is the fastest wcing exp an hour and how many of the top skilling clans are doing it for the clan cup. Now I'm not positive that is how Suomi is doing it since this method is hard to sustain seeing as you need 2 volunteers to essentially waste there time for you. Even with only 80M wcing experience left that is nearly 350 hours of time wasting for the volunteers. Now I suppose you could pay people to do this and this method is a pretty large increase in the experience per hour, so I guess I'm looking at cost vs reward for the effort. Would be awesome if Suomi could pop in and enlighten us :P
  4. I do dwarf traders and pyramid plunder. I really want a set of black ibis so if I'm in the mood I do pyramid plunder in hopes of it. PP is actually faster then traders and my average is around 250k an hour there. Dwarf traders I do when I want to relax a bit more as once you have the guards lured all you have to do is spam click on them. Traders lets me watch TV/Movies so its a tad more enjoyable. Traders alone is right about 200k-205k an hour. With an aura and black ibis is can actually climb to be almost the same a pyramid plunder though.

  6. Currently working on: 50M Runecrafting Current Exp: 45M+ Working to finish off 50M runecrafting finally. Tonight I pass 45M runecrafting experience, leaving the final 5M. Will take a bit under 50 hours to finish it and my goal is to finish it by next Saturday (the 21st). After that I plan to finish off 50M thieving, which I hope will only take a week or two since it is a much faster exp rate. Thanks everyone for the support ^_^

  8. Managed to update my opening post a bit yesterday, tried to make it a bit more streamline :P. As well I also managed to get 20mil thieving experience: After that I capped at citadel, first trying out our new loom, which I did about 700 resource on before I got sick of it, finished off capping on mining like normal. After that I wanted to test c2ing my normal rushes, got about halfway done with them and they weren't that bad. Plan to finish them up today and then head back to pyramid plunder for more hopes of black ibis
  9. Been working on thieving since the weekend, enjoying it much more then I did getting 99 in it. Currently at Pyramid Plunder trying to get black ibis as it nags at me not having it at dwarf traders. I also started back up at the lab today and will likely work 6-10 hour days during the week, so my exp gains may drop a tad, but plan to attempt to keep them up thieving. I plan to update the front page tomorrow as well when I get off from the lab :P

Last night I caught myself slowly doing an update for myself of the top players, mainly a tad bored and looking around for entertainment so figured if I was already halfway to an update I might as well post one here. I looked back and appears Sojournitis won't be back for near a month for his own update.   12. Should be able to finish up 42mil Runecrafting experience tonight (about 50 minutes left to go). Dropped my rc goals to 500k exp a day because I've been doing a few other things too. Been testing out dwarf traders some and they are pretty decent and even partly profitable so its likely that will be my skill after 50mil runecrafting. Will also likely mix fishing into it for my afk skill next. Been trying to do two games of fish flingers a day to get tackle boxes. Along with that also trying to get in atleast 3 farm runs a day. Tomorrow is my final for cal 3 then done with my summer course too :D. Back in the lab next week, but without the class in the middle I'm going to try and make my days around 6 hours :P
  13. Been averaging right around 100k experience an hour, normally I almost completely afk on the island with the double soul wraiths and do the nodes that pop up. When I'm actually paying attention I use a cc to hunt the yellow wizard as well. I completely ignore the spheres are they aren't worth it and only spawn on the lower levels :P
  14. Yeah I've been very bad about posting these last few weeks, mainly because my time on Runescape was near completely afk. I've actually on my break from the lab while my advisor is in Belivia at a Rock Art conference. Been really cracking out on swtor and afking span, but I've hit a wall with swtor and starting to get back into Runescape more, sorta missed things around here :P swtor's community sucks horribly. I've gotten a large amount of progress in Runecrafting, yesterday I passed the 40mil mark, 10mil more to go for my 9th 50mil skill. I've nearly got the points for rank 1 esteem a second time too :P. not to mention the 50+ hour span trip I finished yesterday: I plan on changing my 50mil line up some from the first post, just not sure what exactly I want. Currently I'm back to doing my daily tasks of sandstone and jack of trades, also going to attempt to force myself to start doing herb runs. My jack of trades and experience lamps are going into slayer. This is because I want to finish it off quickly as I'm unsure about the new combat system, and in the future I do half expect an agile-span. For now I'm concentrating on finishing off 50mil Runecrafting, my goal is 750k experience a day and I've been able to meet that for the last 3 days so hoping to stick to it. Next week I'll start back up at the lab, but I'll be finish with my one summer class (cal 3) so hopping I can find a way to keep my exp gains up. After Runecrafting I'm unsure where I'll head, I'm considering fishing while working in the lab (done off vncing off my phone). Since I'm using juju potions for herb runs it makes me want to push hunter farther up my skills list to get a large amount of farming juju potions. Still deciding, going to also work on posting here more :P Also managed to finish off my fishing gear set from ff last night and saw Sara Mage there :P
  15. Completely agree with Randox, I honestly support a ban from beta, even on the weekends everyone is aloud in. It is an insult to the developers and all those that want in the beta to actually test and be useful.
  16. Quest wasn't horrible, though ever since I got a comp cape they've annoyed me as I cannot bring myself to do anything before I finish the quest so I'm always rushing through it. But suppose that's all my own fault. I have one complaint, the tunnel area kept 50% glitching for me. I have a bit of a rock and hard place thing with internet selection. Which is either dialup or hughesnet. I often pick dialup because of hughesnet 3-4 second delay in click action. Many of the new areas 50% load glitch, which forces me to close the game client, reload it on hughesnet, log in on hughesnet, reload the client again (automatically get a game token has ended message when you switch internets), then I can log in and continue. This is really annoying if you consider how many times you go in and out of the tunnel (think I had to do it 3 times). I also have this problem at runespan with dialup D: and seems to be a trend for me with all new updates.
  17. Off topic I've been searching and cannot find any information, will they leave hybrid sets the same (vanguard, trickster, etc)? A bit on topic with duel wielding, duel type weapons and I think these sets would thrive on that. I'd have some fun in fog with battlemage rapier/off hand master wand combos. Many fun possibilities arise I think ;)
  18. Because dragons and giants are realistic, right? In all honesty, yes. Being mythical creatures they fall into the category of "believable." Mythical creatures have some mix of realizm to them and in many ways is what makes them cores of fantasy games ;). The unrealistic element people don't like is they don't see how its possible to duel wield something that is suppose to be wound up for each shot and a bolt put in place. I think to take the unrealistic "edge" off of it is to make them enchanted crossbows or repeating crossbows (ammo stored within and somehow able to refire themselves). Seems another core of fantasy games is make something magic and the unrealistic argument can usually go away :P I love range/melee hybrid. It is how I've warred for years from RSC style f2p matches to RSB style clan war matches so having the ability to duel wield say a rapier and a (magic) offhand crossbow for slayer thrills me :P. Not to mention it should be fun with the vanguard hybrid armor in some mini games. I wonder how well it will factor into slayer experience with using bow a rapier and a crossbow for the exp per hour for melee and range, sounds like it should be pretty interesting. (Edit: took forever for my post to actually load and be posted so super late on the comment but I'll leave it none the less :P)
  19. Already happened. Yeah I rarely see people with hoods anymore. Honestly only see them for the mid to lower levels (80ish) with two binds and there I still see them a decent amount, though I've not raided in about a month so maybe a ton has changed in that time. I personally still have my hood right now and I plan to get rid of it soon as I get a blood necklace. The main reason for the bn for me is for c2s though. Main binds I see now are: P2h, Hex, Plate, BN/Hood/Legs So for the upper level dgers (117+ and mostly people with 4 binds) I don't see that line up changing since survival prodding is taboo anyway most of the time. I've actually seen people flammed for having legs binded anyway. The popular opinion seems to be that offensive binds are best and I don't think that opinion will go anywhere unless surviving becomes a real challenge. There is a ton of suiciders now, so deaths really don't seem to matter to people near as much as when dungeoneering first came out. Unless you can actually be commonly koed I think nothing will change :P
  20. I think it would be more likely hoods would be replaced with a plate (or if 99 then with plate legs) along with a spear if styles are no longer needed for the rings. Hoods seem to be slowly fading out of favor with atleast high level raiders I've talked to so would be more a push over the edge. As some have said, it really depends on the survivability without the armor and its hp boost, but somehow I think the stigma of making stuff being bad will always stay around :P
  21. The idea of a summoning overall interests me more then anything :P. I use a Steel Titan on a good portion of my slayer tasks and I love the dps boost from it, but the AI system for summons has always been horrible. Always such a large delay in its re-targeting to a new npc and many more small annoyances. I do have a bit of concerned being assigned lower level summoning creatures and having reduced melee experience gained, but will hold that worry until I actually see the new system. I have some hope the new combat rebalance for npcs will make it so higher end slayer creatures don't fall below level 170 or they tweak slayer masters to assign within levels.
  22. Many apologies for the drop off in updates. I've been super busy the last week or two, to the point I've been averaging less then an hour on Runescape a day that is usually spent at Runespan while I sit and relax before bed. Been a large push at the lab for me on data analysis on XRF data (basically a device that can be used to measure element contents in rocks, which is measured by the xrays the elements shoot off when exposed to high frequencies, a bit more complicated then that but doubt many would be interested :P), the data is to be present at a conference in Bolivia from June 20th to July 7th, which I'll have off. So 7 more days of hetic lab work then 2 weeks off :D Hopefully after the conference I can actually afk span at the lab again and actually not work 10 hour days data crunching. On the brightside I passed 29mil runecrafting experience :P
  23. Are you sure that this doesn't have to do with volume? 75 spins is about a month's worth of free spins, and people seem to buy larger 'packs' than that. Also not sure about the F2P one, people have been saying that since the third or fourth day of the update and I'm not sure if it's ever been seriously tested or recorded. I'd be interested in seeing f2p spin tests as well. I think it could be decently difficult to test though. To begin you'd have to feed the addict, meaning actually purchase spins :P (addict being Jagex to money, incase that left a few people scratching their heads). But furthermore, wouldn't the person have to keep discarding members items to continue the test in f2p? I think that could be a bit heart breaking, and fully equate to a waste of money :P, unless I'm mistaking and you can stockpile items to claim.
