  1. Sooooo I've been bad and not updated since double experience weekend :(. Well this is mainly because I've gone back to theiving and previously its been really hard to browse forums and thieve at the same time. I guess first thing first. Double experience weekend was a good success for me, but didn't entirely stick to my plans. After a few hours of construction I really got annoyed with the server delays and eventally was talked into joining a friend thieving at dwarf traders. After finishing up my charms I spent the good majority of the weekend there. In total I netted nearly 19mil experience over the 2 days with 30 hours played. Got about 7mil in summoning, 3-4mil in construction, and the rest is mainly thieving: After the weekend I've been sticking to thieving and have passed 61mil experience in it so far. I'm unsure if I want to completely set 200mil thieving as my main goal right now, but I'm working towards it. 50mil all is still no doubt a goal, but guess this is a break along the way to enjoy a skill that I find fun. Here is a look at my alog from the double weekend until now: The daily 180k a day from the challenges on dungeoneering has been great and honestly may do that until 200mil dungoeneering (441 more days to go that way lol). Oh, I made a note it was hard to forum until now as I'm at dwarf traders and cannot move my mouse, my fix to this problem was to start using two computers again. I play Runescape on my laptop in full screen on hd as it has a better graphics card and then forum and watch downloaded tv shows on my desktop with double monitors as it is better in everything else. Here is a look at my current set up now: Taken some time to get use to, but seems to be work well so far. (typed this whole post while pickpocketing traders, clicking the touchpad left click with my left hand and one hand typing this post with my right :P)

Those 3-5m experience days in farming are all-time records. Something people plan out well ahead and nothing that can be done regularly. For atleast some of them I know are effigies opening, I think atleast a few people spent 300 or more effigies on farming to be on the record board back when you could stock them. The larger records though come from Vinesweeper if I recall right, I don't recall any point limit (or if there is one its quite high) so if you enjoy the game and want the record then save up a few months of Vinesweeper.
  3. http://www.indecentcode.com/hs/index.php?id=Jeremy841 Here you go, its Indecentcodes' hiscores (with your hawt stats), the countdown timer is in the lower right hand corner.
  4. Congrats again o.O, gotta change the signature to 35 soon ;) Any ballpark on how many hours per claws btw? (figure its kinda hard to nail down due to luckscape, but hoping might be able to ballpark it :P)
  5. Thank you guys for the posts :P and nar that picture won't update but on indecentcode's site it will every time I log out. Finally free for four days to no life. Plans for Thursday and Friday are to do a some more Ganos for some money making. I'm sitting fairly well for double experience weekend now. I have all my offers in for summoning seconds now with a total of 5,200 crimsons to use and 1,900 blues. Total will cost me 25-27Mil for that, but will have to spend quite a bit on shards initially (like 50-60mil range) before I can sell the pouches and scrolls back to knock it down to only a 25M loss. Currently left with 20M after putting in all the offers so hoping to be able to make enough for a good part of the shards needed. So my plans for the weekend include: - Full tree run (5 Magics, 6 Palms, 2 Spirit Trees, 1 Calquat) - Running the 40 long and curved bones I have - Making 1,900 Geyser Titans via Kyatt method - Selling the 1,900 geyser pouchs and buy remaining shards for 5,200 Steel Titans - Make 52,000 Steel Legend scrolls at Taverly summoning shop - Spend the rest of the weekend making Teak Cabinets (150,000 planks banked atm) Will also do 1 or 2 more tree runs over the weekend too. Total the charms will get my 7.5mil experience leaving me just over 39M summoning experience. Total have enough experience for 27M construction experience, but I'll be happy to get 20M of that as I won't be able to totally nolife. Will aim to get about 30-35 hours in this weekend. Will practice making the teak cabinets things in the costume room Friday most likely too as its been years since I've done any construction o.o
  6. They are attention [bleep] D:, personally could never stand to camp them. Congrats on the (orange?) dragon claws ;)
  7. Grats on top 500 rank in smithing. 48 hour nolife weekend :D?!?!
  8. THE CATS A LIE and will likely be the death of me too >.>. Hell week for me is almost done, recapping: - 4 Midterms and/or Tests - 3 Homework Assigments - 2 Lab reports (still working on one of them) - 2 Literature Reviews - 1 Chapter Summery (still working on) - 1 Thesis Abstract (still working on) Thursday and Friday I will do absolutely nothing that involves thinking or being productive! Speaking of unproductive, this week been pretty much living at rocktails. Today has been first break so far where I did two trips of ganos and discovered a steel titan sucks very badly there. The average titan spec was like 5-75 damage range counting all 4 attacks. Ganos must have high summing and melee defense. On the more productive side, finally passed the 1.2bil total exp mark: Hoping to get 50mil magic Thursday or Friday. Also got supplies for my 66 spirit tree seeds today and planted 2 to harvest on the weekend :P Finally, here is an awesome tracker via Indenctcode:
  9. Tip.it has a great skill planner that allows you to type in different amounts of pouches made and see the experience that comes out: http://www.tip.it/ru...ing_planner.htm Since it doesn't have a double experience weekend option I just played with it and assumed any experience I saw would be doubled. Playing with it a bit I came up with this combination: Assuming you start at a flat 2,000,000 experience in summoning (which is just a tad over 80): Using your 1500 blues first (as they will be very fast experience) to make 1,500 Moss Titans will get you a tad over 2,000,000 experience total (to around level 87) Then using your 7,900 crimsons on Swamp Titans will net you nearly 6,000,000 more experience, giving you a total of just about 10,000,000 total summoning experience which is level 96. Math: Total that is nearly 9,500 charms to run. I'm going to assume you'll use the kyatt pouch to teleport to the summoning obelisk which I think is about 2,000 charms an hour. If you can squeeze 5-6 hours this weekend you should be able to peg 96 without touching the greens or golds. If your time becomes more limited start with the blues for sure as you'll get the most experience you can. Also at 95 when doing your crimson charms you can switch to making iron titans instead of swamp titans, but I got lazy and didn't calculate that, it would net you a bit more experience, but not a great amount (thinking 50k-100k more experience range)
  10. Chances are an inactivity timer would actually make things worse. What judges activity? If someone wishes to loaf, they will find a way. This could mean they all punch a barricade upstairs, or randomly drop explosive potions to take damage. At worse I could see a team's supply of barricades used up by loafers for activity and them punching them. Then have to worry about the activity timer hurting actual players, such as the level 80s defending. They are contributing somewhat, but chances are if activity is based on dealing damage, then they won't have the output it takes defending to keep the activity bar up. Currently at the very least, loafers don't do anything hurt the team, nor anything to help it either (can make the argument a team stacked with loafers hurts the team, but still when I loafed for my hybrid helms I always felt the loafers were fairly well distributed on average, with only the occasional game way out of balance). Adding activity they could enter the realm of hurting the teams just to be able to loaf.
  11. Some people just cannot stand people loafing or idling in Castle Wars. Personally doesn't bother me at all, mainly because the fact that on average there should be similar amounts of loafers on each side, considering a fair majority go in the green portal just to get in games. So they balance each other out and they don't overly effect the outcome. In many ways can blame Jagex for the mechanism of this requirement of games played and not games won, or even the fact that this requirement exists at all. The 5,000 games is very much the rate limiting part of the trimmed comp cape, and hated by many as it is nothing but a time drain. But at this point not sure any change can be made without some outcry in one way or another as so many have loafed the 5,000 games it would be a tad unfair to change it. As for the tons of 138s there, it is another curse of Jagex that many players of Runescape are more long term players so many high levels flood mini games where it is fun to beat up on lower leveled players for some.
  12. I currently use all my lamps on either Agility or Slayer. Either are the overly burdened efficiency answer to "the best skill" to use a lamp on. Both are the slowest skills and honestly agility is the best as it is second slowest, but since slayer trains multiple skills at once its best not to use it on it. Now that is assuming of course you're maxed and money is irrelevant. Now jumping back to reality, I've met very few people that have enough money that it is irrelevant. If you are looking for lamps to cut the cost of leveling a skill, then herblore is a very good choice as it can cost upwards of 10-20 gp per 1 experience. Prayer using dragon bones on a gilded alter is around 10gp/exp (frost bones are in the neighborhood of around 15-16 gp/exp). Construction with oak planks is typically around 7-8 gp/exp (they've skyrocketed some with double exp about to happen, but they'll fall back down). So really any of them could be decent choices. Short version: If you're close to max, without money problems: Agility If you are looking to cut costs of skills: Herblore > Prayer > Construction with summoning somewhere in there (hard to tell cost of summoning with the 50 different pouches)
  13. Lol language of math XD Total I think I average around 2mil-3mil a hour at Ganos. But because I don't sell the magic or palm seeds, it drops the actual amount of money I take an hour. Also I grow all the torstol drops I get (usually I get 1-3 per run which is an hour and 20 minutes normally with 4 prayer renewals that corresponds to around the time herbs take to grow, I also buy a few seeds after each run to have enough for a full farm run) so that boosts the profit per hour by doing that some. I don't cannon either, I just simply mage away. Partly because it makes it more afkable for me to study and because I hear mix reviews if cannoning will actually increase profit per hour. If anything, I think it will slightly decrease profit per hour, but increase the amount the of effigies I see. Effigies are one nice thing about ganos I didn't mention earlier too. I've gotten around 7-8 total from the camping so far and betting I get an effigy every 3-4 hours there. Which isn't amazing by any means, but always encouraging seeing one nowadays XD. Really makes me wish I camped ganos before effigy nerf, decent profit + an effigy like every hour or hour and half would of been amazing :(. Currently use take a yak pouch there as well, and if I get a fair amount of ring of wealth drops or half keys I'll need to summon it to bank all of them, but doesn't happen all the time. Considering trying out a Steel Titan today, see how it does.
  14. Would think if he really wanted attention, getting 200m all (which he is pretty close to) would do it. Hell Jagex did a post for the guy that got all 99s on one day, I imagine he'd have a shot at extra attention from that too. It is amusing that the reaction from the HLF and TIF are totally different, reminds me why I chose to post/read here more and ignore the HLF all together a year or so ago.
  15. Hopefully not, It's annoying the only way people can get 5b xp is from donations, I have a lot of respect for Drowns as all his money is made from merchanting. I have a way more respect for Elvis because he's a far higher rank and also all money made from merching. Personally agree on some levels. I have the greatest respect for the top ranked players that manage "competitive" Runescape and real life obligations together in balance. This could be college, high school, work, careers, online irl stock merchanting, whatever. Now I still like watching Jake's and Suomi's progress and I was "rooting" for Suomi to get 5bil as I'd like to see it done sooner then later. I think Jebrim posted once that on average over the past 2 years Suomi had an average of 16 hours a day based on exp gains, that personally blows me away and I could see why there is some burn out from that. Still holding out some hope he comes around and finishes the 5bil journey, at even a slower pace. For me its nothing about the glory of him being first, but more seeing it done, just how I rooted for Zezima to max when he first did, just to see it done. Now maxing happens quite a few times a day, almost makes me wonder if 200mil all will ever become what maxing is today.
  16. Thank you ^_^ This last week has been extremely busy for me school wise and next week until Thursday will be no better. Seems my professors got word of double experience weekend and want to make my life hell before it. Luckily this coming Thursday and Friday are Fall Break for me (to celebrate (recover from) the end of Midterms). Here is a picture I thought that summed up my week very well: So far this week and the weekend before I've been preparing for the double experience weekend with some money making at ganos as they are fair profit and decently loaf-able so I can study. So far bought near enough supplies for 50mil Construction on the weekend (baring I can use all the planks, which I don't think I will be able to). Here is my current stack of teak planks: Being a bit conservative with money and using teaks, chances are I could easily get it with mahogany, but don't want to totally empty the skill chest of funds ;). Also been collecting all magic, palm, and spirit tree seeds from ganos. Close to 50 of each that I will be starting to use with double experience weekend and contiueing on with tree runs for 50mil farming. Will also likely get 50mil magic for my 12th 50mil skill in the coming week :P
  17. I suppose at risk of sounding insensitive its not that outstanding of an achievement :s, considering the majority of people I personally know cannot stand Runescape sounds anyway (even with the new voice acting, etc). Really no evidence that he was or wasn't first besides the claim on the video. There are quite a few other maxed/high level players with a variety of health conditions as well, for some it is the conditions that give them the chance to play Runescape as much as they do. Congrats to them, but someone maxing with say cerebral palsy or disorder that makes playing quite a bit more difficult and I'd be greatly impressed.
  18. I gravedig I But! I am back. Last two months have been quite busy and I planned to not disappear when the semester started, but didn't happen. A combination of settling into classes and quite a bit of research made me disappear (also played a bit of swtor). Really close to my first publication in my research lab and hope to have it done around Christmas time, been working on gathering and confirming data that white paint for Australian cave paintings is made out of titanium which is very unusual since if you see titanium in cave paint, normally, it means it was fake or touched up recently. A lot of this research was done recently with a portable XRF which is quite interesting as its quite sci-fi-y. Pretty much point and shoot and it tells you what something is made up of. Heres a pic of it :P : Main downside is that it costs around 40,000 US dollars lol. More on topic, back to Runescape with pretty good timing with a double experience weekend coming up. So far this week since I've been back I've been making money. Looking to get 50mil construction experience during the double experience weekend, with a price tag of around 150mil. Which will save around 150mil so quite a deal for me. Also considering using up my 7k charms in my bank for ~7mil summoning experience if summoning is doubled this weekend as well. Lost about 20 ranks in my 2 months of being mia but no big deal, was never really into competitive skilling recently as I have a feeling when I get into my phD I'll have to quit Runescape for quite a bit if not permanently. Been money making at ganos since they are fairly afkable while studying and a fair 2.5mil an hour profit or so. Will give a bit more update on skilling in the next few days as I get back into it :P
  19. w00t ham! Anyway, clan avatars seem well worth it. If you get to be the one to hold it, you have a nice free 6% boost anywhere you go, otherwise even the 3% boost seems pretty nice. A bit of testing with it and it doesn't work with effigies or sof lamps, which isn't a huge surprise. That 6% could cut the cost of buyables by a decent amount, nothing totally amazing but if you're going to spend 1bil, it would save 60mil, not to mention a bit of time saved.
  20. Where are you reading this? I don't see it in the patch notes for this week. [qfc]15-16-775-63942745[/qfc]
  21. Tad early to completely declare it dead content since technically its not even alive content right now, for atleast some people. Having to wait until Friday for EE's build tick to officially try this out, but I was able to get 200 ort pretty quickly on a slayer task. Appears they are alot more common as drops then for skilling. My task was mutated bloodvelds and I got them in drops of 20.
  22. That is a new thing I didn't think of for the race to 99 in a new skill. It gives me a bad feeling that jagex would allow sof lamps on a new skill at release, just imagine the few people with money to spend blowing cash for the first to 99 >.>. Good marketing I guess. Hopefully it doesn't go that direction. I really don't see someone mass buying spins for 200M, the cost is just so high and with the daily limit I just don't think it will be worthwhile. For 99s a few people have done it because it is a lot less experience and in a race to 99 I can see it happen.
  23. Current Slayer task list: Pretty amazing day today with just over 320k slayer experience, which isn't that special. But in that experience I got 3 effigies :D. Reminds me of the old days of effigies lol. Total I got about 2.2M overall experience today. Plans are to just stick with slayer until classes star the 23rd ^_^
  24. I'll give you 300k runespan points for the tackle box ;). Super jealous, really need to get on fish flingers.
