  1. You're uncovrd? That's nice to know... since so many of you idiots changed your name. :P Yeah, I took a long break for a while there, so I wouldn't know about that in between time. ;) You do good work though, no doubt about that. ;)
  2. He was using an "I was owned by the worm" avatar, which was the reason I asked. Good looking sig. It's ok to use it, you didn't have to take it down... was just wondering where you got it... DromarUK I'm guessing?
  3. To me, a "Top 10 Sig Maker" isn't somebody who is really good at a particular style. Also, somebody on the "Top 10 Sig Maker" list isn't necessarily better than somebody who isn't on it. The "Top 10 Sig Maker's" are people who have used their own styles and influences to change sigmaking. They are people who may not be the best, but are succesful. Example: When I first started doing my 3D weapons (many moons ago) it was the first time anyone had seen anything in 3D here. The sigs went like hotcakes. Now, ask another signature maker if they are any good, and they may not think so. However, I can guarantee you that I probably made about 2million GP in about a month with them, and killed Br_Killer's business. So, were my designs the best around? No, maybe not. Towards the end of my 3D weapon era, some kid named, "GreatSilverWyrm" came in and started producing some amazing 3-dimensional art. However, at the time, my beveled weapons were more succesful than anything on the board. I guess I should explain my list then. Silent009 - Well, this is for obvious reasons. Not only is he a great signature maker, he is just a really good artist in general. BrKiller - Maybe not the best artist, but at the time when he was around, he basically had a monopoly on the media board. One of the more successful signature makers of his day. Keiphus - By being very dynamic, I like to think I was somewhat succesful in my run at signature making. Alex - The first to start with the grunge stuff here on the mediaboard. Good work and really influential. GreatSilverWyrm - Probably one of the more succesful signature makers of all time. An eye for design. Witty-Fool - Very controversial and very talented. I think that's why I like him so much. Azvareth - Probably had one of the biggest "free sig" runs ever. If that isn't worthy of top10, dunno what is. DromarUK - Goofy. Not sure why he is here. Haha, you know I'm joking. Pioneered some awesome styles. Tttia - Through his willingness to help and his own personal style, he will always be up there as one of the best sig makers. Misterxman - I have seen some of his work, and although he is fairly new, his illustration ability is unparalled. Does some really awesome work. The reason I didn't put people like Sim, Froth Kahn, th divine, etc blah blah is because I feel that although they are great artists, they didn't necessarily make that many sigs for the general public, so they shouldn't be considered. Don't get me wrong though, I think their work is just as good if not better than the others listed. Blah blah.. you guys know how I like to ramble on about old school stuff. haha........................
  4. Yeah I know your stang doesn't weigh no 12k lbs, I was just exaggerating. :-P Let me see what I can do about this horse thing. 8)
  5. Horsepower doesn't win races alone. There are so many factors that go into it... For instance, there is no bragging in having a 700+HP car if you are weighing in at 12,000lbs... get my drift? And my bro had a 99GT and I used to go to Stang meets all the time with him... Never really saw any TT setups... A few with blowers but that was about it... Most of those were stock too, s281's and whatnot... Oh, and I have yet to meet somebody who has a twin turbo civic. You don't make much sense, which is why I called BS. ;) I'll say again, you can make any car fast, just depends how much time you are willing to spend, and how much knowledge you are willing to absorb to meet your goal. I do remember old Foxes having turbos, but they were the dreaded 4cylinders that you hate so much. :-? Other than that, you're the first Turbo'd Stang I've ever heard of, if you're legit anyway. Also not getting the pot smoking analogy... I don't smoke/drink/etc so I guess that doesn't apply to me.
  6. Oh, and anyone stupid enough to prove the 160hp stock theory shouldn't be driving one.
  7. lol so true .. . . o btw . .suped up civic own ;) Honda Civic - 160 HP, modded. Mustang, 160 MPH, stock. I rest my case. ROFL. First off, don't ruin a perfectly good Mustang with a nasty graphic on the hood. That's sooooo home-boy-im-a-thug-gangsta-stunna style. Just.... don't.... And let's not get into a modded Civic with only 160HP... If somebody wanted to, they could hook up a Civic and run 10second ETA's on the 1/4 for under $6000, including the car itself. You're spending 20k on a car that does mid14's... Big deal... Anyone with enough time and enough money can make any car go fast. You'd be suprised the potential of some of these civics. You might beat one off the line, but say after about 2nd gear when they are spoolin, the honda driver looks over and "objects in mirror are losing." It's all about what you're into. Also gonna call BS on the TT setup. Let's see some pics or proof of knowledge or something man... Don't get me wrong, Mustangs are pretty cars and all, just not my thing.
  8. The orange doesn't really go with anything... change up the color of the guitar maybe?
  9. I believe that is 04b_08 is it not?
  10. Get a new one and that would be cool-est.
  11. Just draw a wierd looking shape and then define it as a brush. Then draw to your hearts content. ;)
  12. Ever? Silent009 Br Killer Keiphus Alex GreatSilverWyrm Witty-Fool Azvareth DromarUK Tttia Misterxman These are based on overall popularity and how well their signatures sell/sold... There are plenty of excellent artists who aren't on here, mainly because they didn't make sigs for the general public all that much... There could even be some artists on here who aren't that great, but their signatures went like hotcakes... But I think this list is pretty accurate as far as TipIt history... Correct me if I'm wrong. ;)
  13. Dude... you stole a [bleep]ing gatorade name... I think we can be more original than that...
  14. Yeah because you were the first one to ever use it. Doesn't really go... Background looks like it could look nice on it's own, and the [bleep]es are really distracting from it... Text is more of a grunge style and splattery looking, where the lines and [bleep]es are very "tech" oriented with their sharp turns and points. Then the background itself looks to have bubbles in it... Looks overdone. Try fixing it up and it has potential. ;)
  15. Is this tennis style or are we both just making our own and then letting people pick the better one? Someone make at least some rules here.... A theme would be nice as well, shows how well you can work with what you are given. Try working outside your comfort zone, it only makes you better. Someone give me some rules, I'm not good at making them. (Just good at proposing that there should be some)
  16. I'll be on dementeds team. :)
  17. Awesome. Wish it were bigger. Would also be interested on a walkthrough on what techniques you used. Would make a good background for something else. I'd say you throw something completely awesome in the foreground. Finish it off. I'm working on another panda this year and I would be interested in incorporating a technique somewhat like this into the background. Again, Good job. :)
  18. Your textures and materials are very well done. Nice work. The dirty theme might be a bit overused though. You use 3dsm you said?
  19. GIF only loses color when you save with more than 256. Most pixel artists barely use 32.
  20. .GIF owns .PNG and this topic is pointless.
  21. Could use a noise filter with a motion blur to make it look more like metal.... right now just looks like a b&w gradient... (which it is) Before and After
  22. Keiphus replied to Iw's topic in Art and Media
Did you model that guitar as well?
  23. Lol, maybe I'll give that a try. Then it will be a photomanip/abstract/spacescape/landscape.... And if you add some vector shapes you can add that to the list!!! Nice job dan. Could tell it was you from the moment I saw your posts and art.. even hinted at it a few times... some people are just thick. :-P
