  1. Not exactly something I would use on a professional program if I wanted to advertise myself and my skills. Let me see if I can get a better representation of what I'm talking about.

Stick your nose in an english book to cure both your boredom and your spelling problem.
  3. Colabs are usually more of a hassle than anything else... You have to organize your participants so that you get the maximum benefit from each of their skills. When it comes to something like abstract brushing the way you guys did it, that is usually better left to one person. For instance, if you were to get somebody who made killer landscapes, somebody who made killer spacescapes, and somebody who could balance/organize/design the final piece, then you might get something. But passing an image around and tweaking it each time is more like photoshop tennis than a colab... Beauty is upon the eye of the beholder, and between 4 people the message is often lost. Or something like that.
  4. The idea isn't that he "isn't really leaving," but rather, "NOBODY CARES IF YOU LEAVE THE MEDIA BOARD, GET OUT SEE YA LATER PEACE DAWG."
  5. Haha sorry about that. 8)
  6. You guys are thick.

Just put a big tag before and after the entire page. Unless of course you are already incorporating alot of CSS... Logo is pretty awesome, you have good illustration skills. I think you would be a really good vector artist. The whole sillhoutte style would suit you I think. I think the button text could use some work... looks kinda tacky. Site looks good though, colorscheme works well for the theme of the site. Nice work, easy nav, that's about it.
  8. Damnit Witty. Now it looks like the only reason I've said anything is because you did. Actually I just found this thread so there's my excuse... But yeah, I agree. Personally, it doesn't matter how many artists come together to do something... Sure, maybe if you have a photographer, a vector artist, a brusher, and an abstractionist you could get a cool colab... but all you guys do the same style art... so basically you are only as good as your worst member... Quality --------- Quantity
  9. Horrible... And you play tennis.... wtf?
  10. Not really grunge... and it lacks content... keep working on it though, the background texture is kinda cool.
  11. Who were you again??
  12. Too much drop shadows on those content boxes... They are about to slap me in the face if I get too close... No offense, but the pixel/retro thing doesn't fit the space theme well, the way you are doing it anyway. Those pixel fonts are also way to big... usually the point of pixel is to keep it small and clean... they are all big [wagon] and ugly... try maybe a different font...? Dunno, just some suggestions. Keep trying, you'll get it.
  13. Dude, my sigs are only free if I win the contest... If you think someones are better, pay them and use theirs.
  14. Actually that was a pretty brief history by tttia... I'm sure any of us could probably turn that into a 5 page essay... Haha.. You have a good point there PUP, something I noticed but never realized I had noticed... Now that you mention it, it does make alot of sense... Hmm... well rumors are going around, I guess we'll see what happens. I actually think it would be cool, if run correctly. Personally I thought that it was fine when Huang did it.. He did an excellent job. Then when tttia took over, it was just a friendship thing, so there wasn't any politics involved, and that worked out well too. I think if it comes back it can actually do good, if we use it for the right purposes. (IE - to expand media to more people and get more people to buy sigs and whatnot)
  15. Shading could be a bit more uniform... it's kinda all over the place ATM
  16. Well, seeing as how whenever you type in "GTA Vice City" into google you get all these b&w covers, I don't think we can get mad at others for stealing our ideas. Or maybe that's just me, rationalizing. And it's not like there are alternate poses of the lady.... I don't want the money either way, give it to someone else if I were to win. Just thought I would entertain myself for a few minutes.
  17. Don't make your cloning so obvious...
  18. blah ps 5.5 sucks and so do school computers w/ 4 fonts
  19. Awesome. I love how you can make such simple effects come together to make such great stuff. Great work.
  20. Dude... aside from Tttia I was probably the most helpful person in media board history... I helped everyone all the time, and helped write alot of tutorials and guides... You make it sound like I never help anyone... I think I have an MsN list of about 40 people who just ask me photoshop questions all day, even to this very day... Not jumping on you BTW, just clearing that up. :P I think the reason that maybe you didn't see this was because I'm good at being helpful AND an [wagon] at the same time. I started doing then 3D bevels, and then Wyrm came along with the Bryce weapons... Then people started getting a bit into bryce... Then the big abstract thing came out... Mostly started with Azvareth and DromarUK and their difference-gradient-layer-blend-mode-backgrounds.... I started getting into those "tech" signatures that were cutouts and stuff, and that hit big for a while... I stopped doing them and then so did everyone else. I'm such a trendsetter. Come to think about it, I remember starting up isometric pixel art here. I posted a building or something that I did. Before that, nobody had heard of pixel art. If they had, they didn't mention it, or do it. Now look at it. Another point for me. We also can't forget the photoshop tennis. I can't remember who introduced that but I think his name was Keiphus. Yeah, it was. Game, Set, Match. Keiphus. Haha. Everyone bow to me. After I sleep tonight I will probably remember more reasons why I am so cool. <--------- Media Board's Most Influential Person EvAr. Haha. Sorry... It's late and I'm having a good day so I thought I would bump this post and share some of my ideas of how great I am. :-P
  21. Why is it that we flame people for being honest...? You posted your art and asked for an opinion and then got mad when he gave it. Grow up. Welcome to the business.
  22........... Yes... You do know who that is right?
  23. Thanks. I'm sure that next time he wants his [wagon] wiped he knows who to ask.
